In memory of Chris J. Wren Thanks go to.. Wizard for MFME Geddy & Bugs for their classic (used as a base for this) Shortcuts included in the text file This was redrawn from the flyer by me in 2008 and has sat on an old hard drive since, a case of me being disillusioned by the fact that the more elements i had to redraw i felt no closer to where it should be. So i have decided to release it the way it was finished back then, probably a purists nightmare.. Take it for what it is.. Nick. **Update** Should be fixed now, knew i would cock it up.

So here it is my first layout (well technically second as my first was Rich & Famous many many moons ago). Its been great fun to be able to do layouts again especially with the new tools in MFME. Lamping is so much easier nowadays compared to years ago! Decent photos were used for stitching together and the reels were recreated from scratch. NAME: Overload MANUFACTURER: Barcrest CABINET: Genesis SYSTEM: MPU 5 STAKE: 30p 85% £25 Jackpot Thanks to the following for help with the layout: @Wizard For the greatest emulator ever coded. @Steveir For the classic layout which I used for the lamp numbers and configuration. @infection For pointing me in the direction of the artwork @BL4K For the YouTube video which I used many times for reference @vectra666 For help with the overlays and testing @slotsmagic For the reel images @bungle For Lamping help and general guidance. thanks to wizard for mfme. massive and real kudos to @monkeyboypaul for his incredible patience and support with images and time to allow me to recreate a part of my playing years in such a way. thanks to @vectra666 for the lovely cabinet, the coin effects and the continued assistance to get things working when i lose my patience! there is a forum wide knowledge that i'm a bad listener and as such these are as big as i can make them, that means they'd stutter with the middle lamp blended. I have therefore used my artistic lack of skill to lamp it as best possible to avoid any slow down in attract etc.. ( yes i'll learn now ) I've used the best parts of many images to add as many true to life representations of the machine, i've used on images for multiple lamps in lamp test mode from the images provided in the hope to increase the effect and pleasure gained from a bashing. I was tempted to redraw (badly) you'll all be glad I didn't! never was the best game of all the monopoly and definitely the jpms of the era but has a place in my heart for it's pure "sets appeal" just to add, as my health has been improving i've found myself out and about again, this is a total opposite to the year before and is why i've been less visible recently, I'm just taking this opportunity to once again thank all users and many need singling out tbf but all in all, I am so glad to the site for the help and support afforded me in many ways through a hard time, i've got some wips, i've got the passion still and i'll be about here and there (gutted eh ) It's been great seeing new designers making strides into the scene and long may that continue. best wishes to all. Here it is, I'm pretty happy with how it's come out. If anything is obviously wrong, let me know - I will update it if required! Only doing a £15 version at the moment, I will consider the £5 version later. NOTE - I designed this on my two gaming PCs, this is a UHD layout and does feature a fair few blended lamps so will potentially not run well on lower specced / older machines. I do apologise if that is the case! Thanks to @Reg for graphical advice and hints, and @Boulderdash for playtesting - do note that I have done some work on this after testing and may have introduced new errors, so again, if you find issues, let me know Notes copied from the layout :

Right, first things first. It's pretty janky. I could have spent more time and effort, but for the images available and that being the reason nobody wanted to embarrass themselve's with it, so I've taken one for the team. Base image looked OK until lamping, so had to chop cash stack images from Vectra's Vamp It Up as using fonts it looked really out of whack. Symbols for the feature 'HOT' are actually stock images of jean rivets, FFS. This whole thing is literally an exercise in me wanting the final piece of the Barcrest red and blue trail machines, regardless of how that was going to happen. It's best on a laptop which hides some things better. Such as not masking the inner trails. I have other things waiting that are far more deserving of the effort really as this was never going to be perfect. Added coin inputs 9=50p, 8=20p. Massive thanks to: @Mavroz for the classic and assisting with my questions and a really great conversation regarding MFME history etc. Top bloke. @vectra666 for helping with advice and issues I had relating to lamps, and for the bits I pilfered from VIU. @Amusements for a great resource for adding extra coin inputs. @edwardb for really interesting thread on how anti stats code works and why on some machines a multiple coin input is a nessecity. @infection for his archiving of images in Infections Images section. Always worth looking through just to find machines you may have forgotten about if nothing else. Also thanks to the community on here that inspire doing this. Anyone thinking of giving it a go should really consider it. If you choose something like this un DX'ed it kind of gives you a good chance to cut your teeth as at least it's something.

Collect golden tickets to hit the jackpot!!! Thanks goto @BL4K For giving images of his machine to @infection including the reel symbols and especially the orange balloon, not sure what the hidden feature symbol is on the 2nd reel so made it a big top tent. Also thanks goto @hitthesix for the original classic i made my classic and now this dx from @Tommy c for font help and maybe Mr p's for the original roms from his machines uploaded a few years back via the mecca Now onto the layouts... the £5 seams fine but the £8/£10 version is asking for its stake/jackpot key? which it then defaults to its £8T/20p program also some of the lamps may seam out of place when you collect a win etc, but doesn't affect the fab gameplay inside shortcuts are as standard Plays in Mfme v201. Here we have one of my favourite machines of all time, King Kebab. This time set to £25 Jackpot which I think is the best jackpot for this machine. Its taken ages to get the multi-lamps working in the kebab stack but I think I've done them OK as previous layouts only had 2 colours working due to old emulator constraints. I've always wanted to create a more up-to-date version of this machine and I hope I've done it justice. I hope you enjoy playing this machine as much as I did back in the day and I hope it works OK for everyone. Another shot at blended lamps, I hope they are OK, and I also hope they don't slow down the layout for anyone too much as I cannot tell on my PC. Thanks to everyone for their support, @spa's Google drive for the flyer & @Johnnyafc who I believe did the previous £15 DX from which I used for reference. Enjoy

Next up is the prequel to Hitshot its tubular bells on the original £15 jackpot maybe the first rom set and the later £25 on maybe the final rom set of this Thanks goto the Original dx creator of this whoever it was, for the reel and majority of lamping positions @infection Images used all two of them, so just shows you only need a few images to make a semi-decent layout the multi coloured tube i think its lamped correctly although it don't look to good the way its lamped, if i'd of blended the tube it would've used upwards of 15-20 lamps and would've been too big covering most of the top half of the machine which would've probably slowed the layout down, it is what it is... First things first, as always, many thanks to the late and great @Wizard for his fantastic emulator. Secondly thanks to @infection for providing the image for the top part of the machine. Now, onto the machine. After not working out how to get the lights looking right in the middle, I gave up on it for a while and did another one Little Devil. I thought I'd have another look at it and realised I was overly complicating the lamps and decided to leave that part until last.... well that was until I realised that the gameplay was going to cover them and I had to do them first instead.... Anyhow, enough waffle, I have to say that I think this is the one I'm most pleased with at the moment as my editing skills have allowed me to fix issues that were there. I've edited..... Reels - replaced the stars with the actual images Number Reel - Changed from grey background and blue to black background and pink with the colours in the middle (not as good as the original machine due to the size of the images on them but I'm happy with how it's turned out £10 Icon - Bottom right was £15 so I edited it and think it looks like a 0 and fits in with the rest of the layout. Text on Top Of Machine - changed it to show Ten Pounds instead of Fifteen Pounds and 25p Play instead of 10p Play KNOWN ISSUES - I can't work out the number for the word "Lose" at the bottom of the machine and I'm not sure whether the word "Nudges" has a light or not. I have left it as it is until I can find out what the numbers are. I don't think it detracts from the machine in any way really. Finally, I did this in a high resolution so I hope it will play okay on your machine. It is the first high resolution I've done like this and I don't fancy going through it all again to make a smaller one, so if you do find it has issues and want to make it work on your machine by making it smaller, please feel free, but I think it should be okay because I don't use blended lamps Enjoy the machine, take care everyone and stay safe!!! Love and respect to you all

As always, mega thanks to the awesome late and great Wizard for the amazing MFME emulator. Secondly, lots of thanks to @infection for providing the brilliant image of the machine. Thirdly, thanks to @vectra666 for providing some advice that I may have missed (well I will have missed because it's something that I've not really been checking (the text that shows the maximum that can be won from any game). Finally, I didn't realise that I hadn't actually changed the text for when I did the original DX version of this machine (can't believe it's not been only a few months since I did it!). I was requested by @infection to do an updated version of the machine and I hadn't realised how low quality my last release was until I started working on this one (approximately a third in size). Since I have learned so much doing them and enjoying seeing people love playing them, it gives me great pleasure to release this one at last. There were some green and blue colours on the game part that you couldn't see what was what, so I manually edited those. I have also edited various parts that had flash flare (is that the right term?) on and I am really pleased how I have removed them, including the bottom part (red), some of the buttons and other parts of the machine. Anyhow, enough waffle, enjoy the game, take care and stay safe

Halloween's Come early to Fme land with this frightfully good slot from reflex, become a grave robber and steal the loot or scare yourself by emptying your pockets of dosh Imo, It's a nice fun packed slot with plenty going on. Thanks goto @fruitsnappa for the roms used, still a fair few to use and emulate @infection for the images used including reel images especially for the hi lo and feature symbols which are hard to come by, great work there mate!! A few things with this layout, the red led's for the reels are there but don't light up during the "red reels" in play maybe something not set up right, although they do flash when free spins are won, but it doesn't affect gameplay as its states what's what on the alpha also the numbers underneath go red. the reels normally use 3 - 4 led colours. the centre part of the feature board should have led's but like fiddle a fortune and others these don't do much and only hide the feature reel normally underneath i think that's it so, Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!

I have a few wips currently and am trying (badly) to learn the redraw skills that are so effectively displayed by others on here, all already have dx's so you're not missing out. You know Wizard, he must've been one hell of a guy, I was a bit late to the fml party but you have to think, without his efforts and his time none of this would be possible, from 2p nudger to £100 reflex's and everything in-between that I and countless others have spent time utilising to recreate these amazing layouts and emulations for all to enjoy. I really think that is amazing, what's even more amazing is that it is free, I mean really free, when do we ever get that lucky!! I'm proud to be able to share my work for free to anyone and everyone so please if you have found this website or my layouts after purchasing from a unknown source please ask for a refund and report the seller. I don't judge you or do you need to tell anyone about it etc. I just want that to be how it's dealt with if it applies to you. Now you're here stick around and say hi, the community will welcome you as they did me and you'll have access to thousands of free layouts so it ends well in my opinion. (SAY NO MORE) Anyways this is Red Gaming's £70 version of SNAKEZ AND LADDERZ Thanks go to @Reg whose reels I altered slightly and the lamp map i used for assistance here, as for the classics which are quality releases and which kinda inspired me to try a bit harder than ever to release it with the glass overlay details. The glass in the real machine has the snakes and ladders as a overlay above the lamped feature board squares, that's something I really wanted to re-create and after several mishaps I've managed it, there were many attempts prior to this by myself which were jumping due to a few pixels difference and this is next to perfect imo. That allows for the layout to seem as close to a copy as possible with the skills i have anyway, I also had to use a different lamping method for the feature squares as the omni would of left the words illegible and their not much better tbh but actually they really are, so I hope it's appreciated by critical artists thanks to @infection for the base images.. thanks to @vectra666 for linking the classic as tbh i had started this a while back and couldn't find the roms so it was never going to happen until the classic was linked to me!! community helpfulness 101! The gameplay is really different to any red game I can recall, and you really get value for money here, the features are long and often. there is a step value displayed by the right of the hi-lo reel when you take a feature that has reel steps that comes into play, they're red if you can't read the boxes to well!! and for a while i didn't understand why after getting a feature via auto nudge, the RESPIN function remained lit.... Well it can change the outcome of reel steps and reel blasts!! so now you know more than I did starting out!! I may have been a bit OTT when it come to highlighting the free side of things with this release but I won't keep doing that and boring the 99.9% of us that are aware and so on etc etc, it's just a one off reaction to recent events which honestly made me a little downbeat but must be worse for some of the long term artists, especially after one now has announced they will no longer be releasing FANTASTIC layouts, I'm sorry but I wanted to put out my thoughts and will not keep doing so after.. As always thanks to the community on a whole for helpful, supportive and welcoming feedback. Hope you enjoy this layout WOODSY

thanks to wizard, @wearecity for the classic and reels, @vectra666 for the cabinet. the £25 has full blended lamps the other two don't. no stutter as i sized it nicely i'm a novice with ps, but tried to make half decent buttons using the blending options from plain flat square images feedback welcomed. standard gameplay with this, i assume it will streak one day but won't be playing to find out as too samey for me. gonna look into a few wips and get some releases out, but won't be as prolific as before due to lifestyle changes etc. always happy logging in and seeing new releases by you all so thanks once again. any mistakes send a postcard to the usual place happy new year to you all, bin the virtuals ya de ya de ya da

Probably the Last release from me this side of 2024, and its a special one for me.. this is around the 600th release from me via Fme land... Jumping Jack Flash, a fireworks themed fruit from Bfm i think its big brother is club firecracker as very similar themed although look entirely different I originally made this as a Pdx way back in around 2014 due to no decent images at the time. Fast Forward to 2023 and @stevedude2 uploaded a higher res flyer of the machine which still had the big fat star bottom right but got my lazy arse into removing that.. the layouts themselves are in a three in one release as each layout uses different roms, there was a whitbread £15 but stuck at 20p via planetemu (i'll up a link in a post) the reel symbols are the same ones used in the pdx if better quality ones arise then i can update them quite easily the £8 token layout seams a tad tight as in rarely gives IM boards but can get jackpots via the blast off feature. As said its a fun action packed machine that should keep you fairly entertained Shortcuts are as standard Plus Respin = R, Blast Off = X, Bell Man = B Enjoy and Happy Gaming this Christmas and in 2024 thanks to All that have released layouts, contributed towards layouts via resources and layout help, The site owners and adminds and of course less not forget the great man in the sky @Wizard lets raise a glass to him this Christmas as without his genius we'd have no layouts and no Mfme so To All in FME land, and All various Fme sites. Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful New Year and beyond Regards Vectra666

Road trip back to the 90's...if only. There's a perfectly good example from @Ploggy, but this might be a little clearer on big screens just because the advances in image software and emulator since then. Massive thanks to; @vectra666 for his assistance in fixing a few snags regarding the hi lo reel and his pointers along the way when needed. @steve phipps for the classic. @Ploggy for the reels and original layout. @slotsmagic and @dad for extra image resources. And anyone in the thread pointing out things which were incorrect such as top glass sizing. Controls are; SPACE = Start. ` = Collect/Cancel. 1,2,3 = corresponding reel. E = Exchange. 0 = £1 9 = 50p 8 = 20p 7 = 10p 6 = token.

RIP WIZARD. thanks to @Clo06 for helping me with the wrong one i tried to make haha, thanks to @johnparker007 for nudging me in the right direction.. thanks to @Tommy c for the reels used which are gorgeous.. this is the first version i have found that has the original FLO'S faces in 95% of the chase as i caught bits of youtube videos, i also managed to get original nudge now, and exchange wording but had to redraw the mystery wording. you may notice i'm pretty pleased with myself for that.. until uncle @vectra666 get's back from barbados the coin effects in and out are muted.. it's super large as i dream of seeing it in AS. not a egg game though. have fun and keep it MFME.. love WOODSY.

Here we have another release with the bearded one on it. This time, fortunately, its the classic 'Noel's House party' by Maygay. Dual release, so pick your favourite. Either £10/25p or a smaller £6/20p both all cash. Great sound package on this one, and 10x more bearable than today's modern machines with Noel's face on. Very large DX (around 4k in size) so if you have a large monitor then this should look decent on it. Hopefully all is in order but please let me know if anything isn't right. Thanks to @spa for his Google drive where I grabbed the flyer from and of course the original uploader. And thanks also to all the contributors who provide resources for the scene for which we all enjoy. Thanks for downloading.

Here's another one of my unfinished wips, finished it off and getting it out the way. This has a couple of issues in the transfer and swop button lamps don't work. Not got a clue why or why they don't light up. It doesn't affect the game play in any way you just can't transfer credit. Other than that it should be fine, thanks to the flyer supplier and to the late wizard for the new mfme. If you find any errors just let me know I'm a little rusty still yet.

Here's a trio of Spiker The Biker layouts, made using my photos that I took at Skirlington Leisure Park. At least I think that's what it is called. It did have a retro arcade section but based on recent videos it looks like it's no longer running retro machines. Let that serve as a reminder to people - grab resources while you can, you never know if you'll see the machine again Anyway - back on topic. Layouts are £5/10p (I'd suggest upping to 20p if you want a faster game), £15/30p (you can drop to 25p if you want a slower game) and £25/30p (again - you could run at 25p but I prefer the speed of 30p at the higher jackpot). It's a brilliant machine in my opinion - I owned one years and years ago and still kick myself for selling it. Must be coming up to 20 years now since I owned it. For some reason it was never cloned. I'm sure others from the same era weren't either, but I don't get why it didn't perform that well. It's got a cracking sound package, decent art, interesting upgrade system, and quite a few 'hidden' things. Maybe it didn't do very well as it's a bit predictable - but I used to feel very 'safe' playing it? Hopefully the layouts are fully working with no issues - I've had a few lovely people - @Mort and @Boulderdash - cast their eyes over slightly earlier versions and they both picked a few issues up which I hope I've now corrected. Knowing me however I've probably introduced more issues as I've made those corrections. Fingers crossed I haven't! Some of the suggestions made I have not implemented but I will definitely consider implementing some of the ideas on future layouts! Thanks for @logopolis for providing a couple of different ROMsets for me - the £5 and £15 are running early ROMs (named : BIKE) - which is odd as I've only ever seen ROMs named SBTR before? The £25 layout runs the SBTR ROMs as the earlier ROMs aren't switchable for £25. Thanks to Adam on Facebook - I think he might be a member but he's not made himself known on here. He sent me great photos of his decals, insisted it was no bother and he wanted to help. Got me a bit more motivated to complete this release as without those decals it would have been £5 only and the decals I originally had looked terrible! Thanks to @Reg for the site. I'll still tag him even though the account is closed. Thanks to @Wizard as always for MFME and the last 20+ years. Thanks to everyone else who puts up with me and my ridiculously off-tangent WIP threads, waffling posts like this one, and who downloads and plays this release. Regrets? I built the layout on a tatty old 22" 1920x1080p display and only when I moved it up to my 65K 4K TV last night did I spot even more issues. From now on I will exclusively design on that screen, at 4K, from the off. Way, way easier to spot issues. Probably would have allowed me to get a more even result as well. Working on large art on a small screen at about 1/2 resolution makes no sense. In edit mode you can only see a teeny bit at a time Enjoy what is left of your bank holiday - and if you find any issues do let me know! I'll swear, punch my monitor, and then fix them (in that order) *NOTE* - I have unpacked the blended lamps, but this might be a bit hard for older / non-gaming PCs to run, especially during busy lamp cycles (jackpot sequence e.t.c.). Runs fine on my old and new gaming machines at 1080p and 4K respectively. If needs be I can release a fix with no blended lamps for those who need it. Will see what the feedback is like first.

Next up here is my 500th Fme release and it's back to the 90's for me with this revisted slot "supertwo" the sister machine of "TakeTwo" which i thing take two is better. I'll let you decide on that one. play em both side by side!!! The reason i've redone this as the earlier version i made was a tad small (1024) so found the original image i made up and relight it, making a few changes to the original layout thankyou goes to the original supplier of images @launton i think as he owed this machine before Steve Lancette had it what more can i say, other the Enjoy and Happy Gaming just like its 1991 Now i must push myself into making a new layout for the 501st Fme release

Hi, After being quiet on the creation front, I decided to have a go at one I'd not played in the arcades for @MikeyPosh and previously the classic layout was done by @Clo06 who very kindly sent me the unlocked version, so I used a previous graphic image as the intro where it has my logo and Clo's as well. So as always, many thanks to the late, great Wizard for this incredible emulator, which none of the fantastic released would have been possible. The blue numbers on the game are not very good but given the original image, I don't think I've done too bad a job. Finally, and more sadly, I would like to dedicate this machine to a very dear friend of mine who sadly passed away several days ago, Jason Boddy. We met at college many years ago and kept in touch on and off ever since and I'm so pleased to say that we saw each other more in the past couple of years and the last time was just before Christmas. He was the first close friend that I've lost and I am still in shock, so please be kind with your criticisms with this machine, although I hope there won't be many negative ones, if any. Enjoy the machine everyone

dedicated to @Wizard for mfme and the joy it brings. this is easily in my my top 3 all time faves, it has multiple cheeky routes to jackpot and loads of super features to mix it up a bit with all sorts of fun and frequent boards too. thanks and admiration must be given to @Damici for this was a total redraw taken from a flyer, the skill on display is nothing short of remarkable.. i was lucky enough to be the lighting half of the collaboration and i hope you all have many many fun hours playing this now and forever... thanks to @slotsmagic for playtesting and ensuring that i can release it at it's complete best and blended to the maximum with no slowdowns or stutters observed. this was a utter joy to play in the pier pub on the way up to the top bar where a arcadia and pot of gold were waiting.. with so many simple ways to get the value out and i will give you a few ideas for your own playing benefit as i imagine not many have played it before.. i am sure everyone can enjoy the crazy fruits themes and variations and this was the earliest of the series that became happy notes etc.. which i also aim to reproduce at some point too. i strongly suggest playing the £15 version only but the £25 is there and is a poor representation of the great game it is, with lots of the game chipped to not be available and the joy removed for the simple fact it was too easy to profit on and they needed to claw it back.. the jackpot can be achieved with a limited players mindset, let em spin on cherries will nearly always be a set for fruit lines to be jp.. turbo cash is often jackpot if you try you will see.. super hold set ups are also possible with the aid of the cancel button no lose gamble, it only lights for a single gamble on the £25 eliminating many ways to win.. my favourite way to test my skills is to try for jp on super cashcade, have a go it's harder than you think but also delightfully simple too. i put this way behind in testing for a giggle and had it go for a jp repeat to 75 quid!! all that and it has a streak profile via jp then gatw after... endless fun and methods to try.. 1,2,3 on boxes for choose a win to get the cherry or orange win to set up super hold or fruit lines!! example below, any top line over a cherry win with a mixture of bells and stars is jp on fruit lines as long as you leave the cherry win on the line.. have a go, you won't regret it..
