I'm not sure the lamps on the cash trail are mapped correctly - some features which (I'm fairly sure) should be going up in straight lines are zig-zagging between columns 1 & 3? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's every other row - so swap each of these pairs {25,57} {56,88} {87,119} {118,23} {22,54} I think corrects it?3 points

As I said previously, there was an issue for a short while to do with a Windows update. The thread above was about it. Hopefully the info in it will help. @Clo06 what Windows version are you running, may also give an indication of what it should definitely work on. Works fine for me on a fully updated version of Windows 11.3 points

Nice work Tommy, thanks - classic machines these ones For future ref, there's a potentially better quality image source on the Community Drive (http://tinyurl.com/yckze665) for this one - might be useful for a future ultra high res 8k version or summats with some fettling, like this I did from a quick edit: Right I'm off to have a quick play on your layout for some nostalgia!2 points

Cheers for the heads up - I did fix that before release but uploaded the wrong version! I'll sort it out once back home, won't be long (edit - 22/03/24 17:24) Version 1.1 uploaded. Genuinely a bit gutted about that, to be honest I'm very messy when I make layouts - multiple folders with multiple versions and then multiple versions within those folders. Zipped the wrong damn one up One issue it does raise is that I had no idea of the comments regarding the issue until a moment ago when I went to download the layout on my MFME cab downstairs, and noticed the 8 comments. I didn't realise I didn't get any kind of notifications for those? Perhaps it's because I wasn't tagged? But I get plenty of notifications for the 'release area' forum thread, just not for the replies under the file in the download section Many thanks to @Multi Retro Man and @BarXQueen for your efforts in solving it for people on the thread while I was oblivious to the issue2 points

This was at the tail end of the 4.80 jackpots. And by this time, most of manufacturers got the hint from BACTA, to over machines with flatter profiles. This is one of them. Does it "streak" no..not really. But there is constant action, with low wins. Which we all gamble to 2 quid, exchange and hope for a jackpot nudge. And end up with 1.60 9/10. I did like this machine, it's a good one to dump tokens in, and get a decent cash return. A jackpot of tokens is usually 3 quid cash minimum. Then there was all the clones, Hollywood cash?? 2p, 5p and 10p versions which each had their skewed pay table. The 2p version, was not too shabby, if you like playing for playing sakes. Thanks for the release, I admit I must have several versions of this machine, dating back to The Hovel days. I like how the number reel, is one of the originals used heavily back in the early days of emulation. Statto2 points

Looks good @vectra666 I have AI upscaled those new reels, and updated the layout with those new high definition reels, looks much sharper (especially on portrait monitor or 4k monitor) - here's the zipped layout, only updated the 4x reel images, not touched anything else, so hopefully easy to update your release: Add a Note £4 Dx+UpscaledReels.zip Very nice work, with the new buttons, the original ones on the bottom were practically blank I remember!2 points

Yes it was called a Fair Play reel and Ace did it, on a few of there Watch For My Hidden Treasures machines. But as you say, some players worked out how to read the reel, so it was chipped out. If you look on the Crimewatch, layout, you see it says Fair Play Reel, during the attract sequence. See Harry Headwounds video on youtube about it.2 points

Great layout and plays well, I vaguly remember this machine in booths amousements in Glasgow in the 90s and I'm pretty sure the high low reel spun before you picked high or low who lamp was turned off until you picked either high or low when the lamp was then lit to reveal the number... I also remember it had an indicator small blue dot which you could spot and tell what number it was well if it was an 11 or 12 or whatever the combination was really can't remember was soooo long ago. Does anyone else have the same memory? Many Thanks2 points
