Hey Everyone, Been working very hard behind the scenes, and I am proud to release the Astra Games Bullion Bars Classic Rebuild layout 10p Play £5 JP - 40p stars version - never released before on MFME. The slave cabinets are my own built from scratch, my own reel bands used top box and slaves, and completely remastered the top box and used original decals as per the factory original, even managed to perfect the blue lamps behind the Astra Logo on each player! Thank you to rom provider ( you know who you are ), and to Dan & Andy for being my beta testers. Shortcuts usual, but 9 = 10p coins in. **As always dedicated to Wizard** Hope you all enjoy this much highly anticipated layout. I will hope to reuse these cabinets for the £25/£35 and hard £5 version in due course, if demand is there of course. Peace - AstraLuke

  2. For the last few months, free time has been limted, got promoted to an systems analyst job, and haven't had any "proper" forum time at all hardly. I still like all releases, but haven't had the time to comment, so just wanted to say a general thanks to all designers that released layouts this year. Some nice new classics from Chloe, relentless DX releasing from Vecs, and some really great Dutch DX'es from Laylow, really worth checking out for seeing machines we know, but sort of done differently. The usual quality we've come to expect from Pook, Tommy, Reg, Wearecity, Spa, Dougsta, MattyN, HTS and Andy-1, and a few others coming into releasing I see Ginge, Herber, Big J, Mavroz, SlotsMagic, MultiRetroMan etc. Oh, and the German ones from Spidy1982 as well! Sorry if I've missed you out. Thanks to you all.

Was a bit nervous as is my first time with this so didn't want to screw it up uploading it, if I have made a mistake anywhere please let me know. Now on to the layout, by @bungle and myself. We were going to do the original cab but have done it this way as not only is it my first release but most importantly we are dedicating this to @Wizard as if it wasn't for him this wouldn't be happening. Looking forward to a few more of these and will be honest I nearly lost it trying to sort the bits and pieces out but Bungle was quite patient with me so massive thanks to him as did Pm @Reg around March last year and wanted to do a Xmas release for 2020 but things got in the way and I was a bit lazy, was intending to do a classic of something but someone talked me out of it. This is set at 20p play with a £4.80 Jackpot and I have a serious history with this machine which most of you already know, so finally the thanks, @bungle for his patience with me and great help in making this come alive. @slasher who has helped me understand the emulator a lot better when it comes to designing as he really started the ball rolling with me. @Reg for initially giving me the confidence last year (sorry for the delay) and finally Wizard who has made my dreams come true with this world, this is dedicated to you bud and done my own edition.

Just a quickie @SocialDragon368was enquiring about various layouts made into £5 variants so as i already made the £25 version it was just a simple re-decal of the win values so here it is a seaside special on £5 but set on 90% where as a seaside slot would probably be 72% anyways here it is 10p input is shortcut no9 or the button/lamp is the 10p decal next to the five pounds under the £1 standard coin input!! thanks to @Player for all resources now back to the other wip!!! Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!

Wahay, TWINTIMER Many thanks for this one, I've been looking forward to it and noticed other Dutch games are similar in the way they play.

  11. Sorry @Regforgot about this. I've uploaded the UnExotica collection which has games and demos, games ones is pretty complete, but the demos side is pretty poor, anyway here it is - https://mega.nz/file/CYolXKBK#DVpdh2ZqmMeWTB2KnxH0gibDIukVcMvB2yF7ulBjXJc I'll leave it up for about a week incase anyone else wants it. Currently doing a site rip for the demo side of modules.pl, I'll upload them when I've got them all. Doing a Wget script which only downloads one zip at a time, so this will take a day or two.

  12. Years since I've played it, but I'm sure of you load up the sound roms, there's an unused sample in it that was pretty good. Going to have to try it now to remember.

  13. Ironic you say about that, Ive set my Game Manager up with just the folder "£8, £10 & £15 JP" as I prefer them to antyhing else. I like to utilise the random machine feature, and play whatever Im given.

  17. You can tell your 100% fme fanatic as you tend to download every game and give them a good play, that's dedication and shows the designers that people are enjoying their work.

  18. Go to downloads, legacy, JPM for the downloads As for the coin thing, I believe if you load the game up and go into design mode, right click the coin in button and tick the lockout check box to stop the error from happening, then close and save the layout. If I'm wrong here someone else will know

  20. no need to thank us @niallquinn but thankyou anyways we're all in this for the same reason, nostalgia a big shoutout must goto the resource gatherers and the big man in the sky as without these guys the layouts simply wouldn't exist

  21. Glad to see you are getting on in work. I suppose we should be grateful for a job in the current times, but my word I can't wait to retire and get up late and do what I want all day, plenty of games, fme, emulation, youtube, por, err etc...to fill my days. A lot of the old school FME'r, must be approaching retirement or have retired.

  24. @Chopaholic When I first thought about doing the layout above I seen images uploaded by infection and was umm’img and ahh’ about it then I seen the earlier vid from you and made the £8 version then I read about yourself asking about the earlier £6 roms so a quick five minute decal change and here it is, so really thanks to you I made this a reality and it is really a cracking machine of which the shadows tune is great and loops itself perfectly to their original tune or which I let play several times before hitting the start to continue the board. the nuggets! The top feature on that is a streak I had it give around the £15 mark, as for the features text unfortunately my talents didn’t do them justice and a barley readable when lit

  26. Made some progress on the refactoring of input code (to support MAME/MFME input sending). Here I have the standard mpu4 button inputs being sent to MAME (via keyboard or mouse input) Doesn't support coins yet, going to need further work to suss out the best way to do that...

  30. And the LEDs in the buttons work! I think it is a shame that the colored buttons have not arrived, but with colored stickers it also looks nice.
    1 point
  31. Yesterday a few of the ordered buttons arrived. So far only the white ones. So I was right off this afternoon but connected a bit. Now try to make some stickers for the buttons with a hobby laser machine. That is not quite easy. Especially because the buttons are upright and therefore less space for the letters. Hope the colored buttons arrive soon, because I don't have enough buttons yet. I also ordered an LED controller, because it would be nice if the lights were on at the right time.
