  1. It's a Cenovo, bought from AliExpress four or five years ago. It works well in this application. It was originally used for playing old Lan multiplayer games in a network.
  2. Today I am trying to install the hopper.
  3. The material is birch plywood with black phenol and the edges are simply painted black.
  4. When I started this project I hadn't thought about a touchscreen yet. Actually, this was also a trial and I had the monitor left. I have now discovered that I miss a few buttons with some layouts, or that the description of the buttons is not quite correct. So if I'm going to make a version 2.0 again, I will definitely consider a touchscreen. But I think real buttons are part of it. I also found out that I may have made the case a bit too small, as I now have little room for a hopper. But I'm just going to try.
  5. now try to adjust the buttons to the different layouts as well as possible
  6. And the LEDs in the buttons work! I think it is a shame that the colored buttons have not arrived, but with colored stickers it also looks nice.
  7. Yesterday a few of the ordered buttons arrived. So far only the white ones. So I was right off this afternoon but connected a bit. Now try to make some stickers for the buttons with a hobby laser machine. That is not quite easy. Especially because the buttons are upright and therefore less space for the letters. Hope the colored buttons arrive soon, because I don't have enough buttons yet. I also ordered an LED controller, because it would be nice if the lights were on at the right time.
  8. 21 inch. I made the cupboard with the drawers myself, you never have enough storage space
  9. Yesterday I made a test cabinet and put the screen in it today. When I have received the buttons I will continue.
  10. thanks for the link, there are so many interesting things in this forum. I just don't know where to start. but I'm not in a hurry
  11. good evening, i wonder how many buttons i need if i want to make a cabinet. my intention is that I want to do everything without a keyboard. maybe someone has an opinion on that?
