Thanks to wizard, wearecity, pook, logopolis, vectra666 and others who've helped. BE AWARE IT LIKES TO MALFUNCTION IF COINS ARE INSERTED TOO FAST... HOWEVER ONCE PLAYING THE FEATURE YOU CAN ADD COINS/CREDITS WITH LESS RISK OF A MALFUNCTION, IF IT DOES MALFUNCTION PLEASE WAIT 20 SECONDS FOR IT TO RESET TO AVOID LOSING YOUR RAM STATE. I had to make the reels and if anyone wants to improve upon them feel free, the lamping for sinbad/guard move on the number reel was beyond me and if anyone can figure out a way to have them on a horizontal reel band instead of static please again feel free. the £6T version i had to make my own decals and hopefully they're good enough to pass inspection etc. never played this as a kid and i can see it's appeal, the repeats and features are really fun!! as usual any mistakes can be forwarded to my dedicated mfme fault finder hotline. 8008135. best wishes to the community and kudos to all creators! Here's a few layouts for Bullion Run by Concept, and way too many ROM variants as usual. I feel like it might be Random Gold without the 'Random'? I received some artwork from an anonymous member on here (you know who you are, cheers!) and since I quite like this one in real life, it would be a shame not to do a few layouts. There's quite a few ROMs and GAM files included, and the layouts will give ERROR 1 on first opening - to clear that, either use Ctrl+R on your keyboard, or just open and close the layout. There's layouts for : £5 jackpot (£1/£2/£4/£5 paytable) at 20p play. £50 jackpot (£5/£10/£20/£50 paytable) at 30p or 50p play. £70 jackpot (£5/£10/£20/£70 paytable) at 30p or 50p play. £70 jackpot (£10/£20/£40/£70 paytable) at 50p or £1 play. and finally £100 jackpot (£10/£20/£40/£100 paytable) at 30p or 50p play. Bit of a weird mix, but those are the ROMs I have. Hopefully something suitable for most people! To pick the price of play, and game type you want, load the relevant GAM file. The GAM files are labelled as the following example : BR_30P_5_10_20_70_SS (where 30P is the stake, 5_10_20_70 is the paytable, and SS is the game type, where FS = FLAT SESSION, SS = SOFT SESSION, FNS = FLAT NON SESSION and SNS = SOFT NON SESSION). From memory my preferred game type is normally SOFT SESSION, giving a mix of wins and mini-runs in the base, and normally being bang-on target percentage by the end of the run. In theory, SESSION based ROMs will give a run after a fixed amount of credits. To give you an idea, on a SESSION ROM, a 50p £100 jackpot game will go on a run after 3600 credits (£1800 of credits) - this is where the main streak is paid. I honestly don't even know if the SESSION ROMs qualify as 'random'. Perhaps they do randomly allocated wins or mini-runs between the proper runs? The NON SESSION ROMs do not have a streak that comes around after a fixed amount of credits. This means that - while they should still pay out the same over the long term - they may do periods with huge gaps between runs, and can in theory do back to back runs for some huge streaks. They often seem to play too well from a reset, so be prepared for that! As always many thanks to the ROM provider(s), the artwork provider, and all the members here at DIF. Thanks to @Wizard for the incredible emulator, and thanks to anyone who plays and enjoys the stuff I release. Any issues don't hesitate to chuck me a PM, or reply to the release thread

Next up is this space themed slot from Maygay Apollo 9 @ £5 jackpot As far as i know the roms didn't run as there was security on them like a few maygay roms of this age, but i think @hitthesix cracked the code and hacked a bit of info about to make em run, or to bypass the security.. Also thanks in no particular order @spa for obtaining the images @johnparker007 for upscaling the image the original classic layout creator for the classic i used for lamping references and base reel bands @WonkySausage for checkbox help etc and to anyone else who may of gave a input into the making of this game Shortcuts written within the notes Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!!

  10. Yeah, to have What a Carry On (PCP) emulated would be the icing and the cherry on top of a very sweet cake of fruit machine emulation! Hopefully it'll be a reality in MAME before we're too old and senile to be able to play the damn thing! lol.

  12. Wow! It looks gorgeous matey! This is definately one of my must-have's as a DX, so thank you very much indeed. I know @Chopaholic will probably have the FME equivalent of an orgasm when he see's Sinbad finally has a DX! (Hopefully we'll see a Harry Headwound branded video of him playing this shiny new DX in the near future too) Thanks again and all the best, Gary. 777

  13. I have launchbox and Bigbox. I'm very new to fruit machines but I want to add a bunch to launchbox and set up an attract mode. I'm trying to set up a unified attract file for each machine I add to the front end. I think what I've made is not bad but I'm looking for input. The file I have uploaded, If anyone knows where I can get more Fanart or Metadata please let me know. I'm interested in comments good and bad about my first attempt to make a machine file for Bigbox attract mode. My plans are to swap out music, change where the glints appear on each machine and slip the machines video play into the neon box I've made. I have China grove by the Doobie Brothers and the sounds of gameplay from the fruit machine playing.

  14. There is a lot of work to do building the Layout Editor. This will allow for importing extracted MFME layouts to be converted to native Oasis layouts (to work in 3d machines like in Arcade Sim). The 'extraction' will be performed by the MFME Extractor, which is already somewhat done, but will be rewritten with a focus on improved robustness as it's a flakey process. There will also be a feature to generate MAME layouts - this will mainly be used for creating/improving internal text-only layouts, that are built into the MAME.exe itself. This will indirectly help out with getting the emulation improved in MAME. Using the same UI framework I'm building for the Layout Editor, will be a second application that will be the Cabinet Editor. This will allow for importing 3d models in a generic format such as .fbx, to be converted to native Oasis cabinets (again to work as part of 3d machines like in ArcadeSim, housing the Oasis layouts). The Machine Player will allow playing these 3d machines in a single machine mode initially, and also have VR support, along with various visual effect options (like Bloom etc). Once this is all fairly solid, I will start development of the Oasis version of Arcade Simulator (I guess you could think of that as 'Arcade Sim 2'), to allow for the Arcade Sim experience with multiple Oasis machines... and that will ultimately get things that weren't in Arcade Sim 1, such as multiplayer, VR etc. Also there'll be lots of surrounding work, things not thought of yet etc. The key purpose of all this is that using the tools in the Oasis suite of FME software, the community will be able to convert existing MFME layouts, build new layouts, create new 3d cabinets, and build fully integrated machines that then work in the new Arcade Simulator... all without needing to touch any programming. The full source code is open source, hosted live here: https://github.com/johnparker007/Oasis This probably represents years of work, but I think it's what we need to take the scene to the next level, now we've seen the proof-of-concept the original Arcade Simulator represents

  15. As requested by @Reg, here is my first cab build (well kind of a v1.1 as it actually started taller and less refined and I modified it slightly to get it to what you see here.) . This cab pays out in 10ps and £1 coins and takes all coins. It was also the smallest I could get it as the coin mech takes up a lot of room. I still have this cab, but a friend of mine is buying it from me so we can play games with shared RAM files (As I built a new one:
