  1. Barcrest Flash Cash £4.

    It didn't really need doing, already some amazing DX's of this, but it was one I just really wanted to do. Had a nice glass image from eBay that just needed some clone stamping where art was peeled, took the feature text bits from Youtube video and drew around by hand as I'm terrible at font finding, so close up they are a bit janky.
    Not entirely happy with the reflections myself, but they are easy to delete if you so wish.
    Massive thanks to;
    @pete_w for the classic.
    @Pook for kindly allowing me to use his reels.
    @Wizard for the miracle of MFME.
    Steve Lancett of Steve's Fruity's for bits grabbed to complete.
    Will likely be my last release for a short while to be honest, I have a load in the queue but just need to direct some energy towards other interests for a little while.

  2. Barcrest's Hot Rod £6 Token and £6 Cash.

    Was one I wanted to do at some point to go with Road Hog, although Road Hog is likely going to be redone at some point to match quality wise as I have gotten better at remaking certain bits like the board values. This layout won't be 100% accurate due to it being chopped together from a BWB version as well as that was a more workable image available but wasn't really interested in that version as its stake and jackpot prizes are just not right really, plus the Barcrest version is the one to have.
    I have tried to get detail dialed in as much as possible and make the chopped in bits from the BWB version look as natural as possible.
    Notes are locked to Ploggy's DX which I used as a base and only realised it was locked when 99% there, wasn't really down for redoing the whole lamping and masking again.
    Special thanks to;
    @johnparker007 and @Altharic for assisting with trying to unlock and John changing name in caption. Also @dondplayer and others who offered assistance with the same.
    @Ploggy for the original DX and allowing layout to be changed so I didn't have to redo it.
    @johnparker007 and @infection for the images used.
    @vectra666 and @Mort for pointing out areas of image that needed attention.
    @Road Hog Madfor the cash ROM's.
    @Wizard for MFME miracle.
    Next up is Golden Game Club 3 player, £250, £500, £1000 and £2000 jackpots.🙂

  4. Barcrest's Fruit Preserve £4.

    Lovely MPU4 machine, it's not quite MPS2, but it's certainly good fun and is helping solidify my theory the fruit machine peaked in the 80's for the most part.
    It's not entirely 100% accurate, but the purests can remove the lamps that likely shouldn't be there. An example being the lower 'fruit' text to the left of preserve. To me it didn't look quite right not lighting, and the youtube videos of it I wasn't sure if the bulb was out etc as they all appear to be the same machine that has changed hands.
    Massive thankyou to;
    @fruitsnappa for helping me with a few lamps and sorting coin effects and playtesting.
    @Pook for teaching me new masking method.
    @johnparker007 and others for the community drive where the image originated.
    @Wizard for MFME miracle.
    Control's etc are in the notes along with coin inputs.

  5. Maygay's Fight Night. £8 Token,£10 and £15.

    It's not the best, but it's something. Have possibly used lamps that aren't 100% correct, but all critical stuff works right. Bit miffed by the swap corner buttons and lamps as sometimes they light but nothing happens when pressing the button, not sure why or if thats a thing with the machine maybe.
    Massive Thanks to;
    @Ginge for loading in ROM's, fixing sounds and helping me find a few things.
    @Wizard for MFME.
    @thealteredemu for the extra ROM's.
    @infection for images.
    Not sure who did the classic, but a big thanks to them also.
    Going to take a couple of weeks before next layout, catch up on playing the latest releases etc.🙂

  6. Castle Revolution.

    Interesting machine for 1987 with it's fancy tech, but so far have to say the MPS2 tech it's based on seems much better to me so far. Be interested to here what people make of the game.
    Standard one is £2 card turnover and ALT version is the £4 card turnover ROM's from 20p exchange. I haven't played the ALT version yet really due to issues just resolved, maybe its a different profile.
    Massive thanks to;
    @TTX For alternative ROM's and better images, and also information on these Castle machines.
    @fruitsnappa For assisting with ROM loading.
    @Ginge @vectra666 @niallquinn For assistance.
    @Clo06 For the classic and assistance.

  8. BWB Circus AKA Big Top.

    10p play, £5 Jackpot. 80%.
    These were best on £5, they could still give the same streak amount as the £15 variant with multiple red streak holds. You could tell when they had value as holding to force nudges with 1-3 symbols away it would freeze, the longer the freeze was, the better. 😉 Did incredibly well on these way back when on resorts, happy times.
    This is a machine I first asked about upon joining, it holds a very special place in my memories of days gone by. What I didn't know then was I would end up creating this very DX myself, but thanks to so many on here I have learned many things which allowed me to make this from 1 grainy blue glass image and the one picture we have from Infections Images section. It's not perfect, but it's to the best of my ability given the resources, I'm amazed I got this out of it. I also made reels with the correct symbols, reels are my nemesis, lol, but they are 90% ok.
    Absolutely massive thanks to;
    @logopolis His classic brought me many hours of fun, and fair play to him, he literally found all the lamps for the top. Trust me, if you have never done a classic, that's a real ball ache trying to spot in a sea of flashing yellow squares.
    @vectra666 @wearecity @Ginge for assisting with an issue I had first loading in. Turns out 1500 across is about the maximum for this type of layout.
    @infection for images section as always.
    @Wizard for MFME miracle.
    And a big thankyou to the community in general.
    Controls are in the notes, slave alphas are small, but that was inevitable really given the size contraints and I had to shrink down, a lot from images I had created.
    This is and always will be one of my favourite releases, so stoked we finally have this thing. A massive shoutout to the ROM providers and cataloguers.

  11. Maygay's Bank Raid £25

    Disc wheel is a bit jank, images were all angled so had trouble getting it round and spacing correct. I will work on it in between other projects and fix as and when I can.
    Really nice machine, good sound package, typical of Maygay, although there are sounds I recognise from other brands as well I think, sure there's a snippet of sound used in Red's Critical Mass maybe.
    Much appreciation to the following;
    @PekoJPF and @Matty.n for the classic.
    @loo for the ROM's.
    @infection for the images.
    @Ross for top decals.
    @wearecity and @dad for help with disc reel.
    @vectra666 for stake decals.
    @Wizard for MFME.
    Also a big thanks to the community we have here.

  12. Road Hog by Barcrest.

    Road trip back to the 90's...if only.
    There's a perfectly good example from @Ploggy, but this might be a little clearer on big screens just because the advances in image software and emulator since then.
    Massive thanks to;
    @vectra666 for his assistance in fixing a few snags regarding the hi lo reel and his pointers along the way when needed.
    @steve phipps for the classic.
    @Ploggy for the reels and original layout.
    @slotsmagic and @dad for extra image resources.
    And anyone in the thread pointing out things which were incorrect such as top glass sizing.

  13. Fast Trak by JPM.

    Controls are in the notes.
    Special thanks goes to;
    @infection for the images.
    @Tommy c for the original DX, and button's from that layout.
    @Steveir for the classic and helping with lamp question's.
    @wearecity for assisting with lamp question's.
    @monkeyboypaul who is trying to get original sound ROM's dumped.
    @vectra666 who helped with an issue masking, turns out I missed a pixel.

    It's not super realistic, image was a bit washed out and missing detail so it's lamped in a way each letter and number has been done individually. This meant I also had to be pretty aggressive with brightness and colour in places, so it is rather cartoonish as opposed to uber real.

  17. Puffing Billy by BWB.

    This was something I was starting on way back at my first foray into layout creation. Never played the machine but remembered the artwork from being a kid back in the day. Needless to say, my attempt back then before people here spent the time to help me improve was pretty funny. @Tibbo decided to redo the artwork and assist, was originally going to be his first release as we were going to work together on it. Sadly he has not been active for over a year now and I know he really was looking forward to this as he wanted to get his .fml badge and give back to the community also. I'm hoping @pete_w can put the .fml badge to his profile so hopefully when he comes back it's a nice surprise or if not at least his goal has been realised.
    Massive thanks to;
    @Tibbo for his artwork and calloboration.
    @Clo06 for the classic.
    @johnparker007 and @spa for the images which lead to the far clearer image we have now.
    @Ginge for play testing and spotting and fixing various issues, this guy has a far greater eye than me.
    Also a big thankyou to whoever provided the ROM's for this, maybe @Mavroz?
    There is a slight issue with cancel collect, mainly its one lamp for both but images have separate buttons. Originally I Had same lamp in both, but have removed lamp from cancel to see if that looks better.

  20. Barcrest's Club Vegas £200.

    3 of 3 Christmas release's.
    Probably my nicest looking yet to be honest. Started messing about with it at the time of Road Hog. This machine does already exist but was made a fair while ago I think so I thought I would go ahead. The neon effect cash values etc are actually done by hand as I could not find the font. I know not everyone is a fan of clubbers, but this is actually a good game, plus anyone having a quiet Christmas, hopefully this helps keep you entertained. Lol, if you are chasing the cashpot it should keep you going for bloody ages, it moves up very slowly, almost thought it was broken.😂
    Massive thanks to @vectra666 again for better reel symbols and also fixing coin sounds and giving me pointers during final tweaking.
    Also credit to @stevephipps for the classic on which it was based.
