  1. Loot Shoot by JPM.

    Allowed me to reuse cabinet I spent ages chopping together for Special Reserve, so seemed a logical next project.
    Reels being lit by a neon tube were a bit tricky to get to work in conjunction with the Reel Roulette feature, but think it's passable.
    Massive thanks to;
    @pete_w for the classic.
    @steves fruitys for video reference.
    @Ginge for playtesting and spotting things that needed fixing in regards to lamps, effects and checkboxes.
    Controls in the notes.

  2. Puffing Billy by BWB.

    This was something I was starting on way back at my first foray into layout creation. Never played the machine but remembered the artwork from being a kid back in the day. Needless to say, my attempt back then before people here spent the time to help me improve was pretty funny. @Tibbo decided to redo the artwork and assist, was originally going to be his first release as we were going to work together on it. Sadly he has not been active for over a year now and I know he really was looking forward to this as he wanted to get his .fml badge and give back to the community also. I'm hoping @pete_w can put the .fml badge to his profile so hopefully when he comes back it's a nice surprise or if not at least his goal has been realised.
    Massive thanks to;
    @Tibbo for his artwork and calloboration.
    @Clo06 for the classic.
    @johnparker007 and @spa for the images which lead to the far clearer image we have now.
    @Ginge for play testing and spotting and fixing various issues, this guy has a far greater eye than me.
    Also a big thankyou to whoever provided the ROM's for this, maybe @Mavroz?
    There is a slight issue with cancel collect, mainly its one lamp for both but images have separate buttons. Originally I Had same lamp in both, but have removed lamp from cancel to see if that looks better.

  3. Fast Trak by JPM.

    Controls are in the notes.
    Special thanks goes to;
    @infection for the images.
    @Tommy c for the original DX, and button's from that layout.
    @Steveir for the classic and helping with lamp question's.
    @wearecity for assisting with lamp question's.
    @monkeyboypaul who is trying to get original sound ROM's dumped.
    @vectra666 who helped with an issue masking, turns out I missed a pixel.

    It's not super realistic, image was a bit washed out and missing detail so it's lamped in a way each letter and number has been done individually. This meant I also had to be pretty aggressive with brightness and colour in places, so it is rather cartoonish as opposed to uber real.

    Big thankyou to;
    @Ploggy @CompostCORNER for the original DX and classic and reels.
    @johnparker007 for doing some stuff with white balance to make base image more vivid.
    @fruitsnappa @WonkySausage for the £4 ROM's.
    @Ginge who found lamp numbers that I wouldn't have likely spotted and assisting with a reel issue. £3 version has totally different than £4, one MPS2, one MPS3 ?

    Massive thanks to @Johnnyafc for the classic and reels.
    My first attempt at blending lamps in this one thanks to @vectra666 teaching me how with Ace Of Clubs release.
    Standard controls, only £1 input on this one as seems to be only option for MPU5, aside from £2, but that kept causing a STRIM error.

  6. Barcrest's Club Vegas £200.

    3 of 3 Christmas release's.
    Probably my nicest looking yet to be honest. Started messing about with it at the time of Road Hog. This machine does already exist but was made a fair while ago I think so I thought I would go ahead. The neon effect cash values etc are actually done by hand as I could not find the font. I know not everyone is a fan of clubbers, but this is actually a good game, plus anyone having a quiet Christmas, hopefully this helps keep you entertained. Lol, if you are chasing the cashpot it should keep you going for bloody ages, it moves up very slowly, almost thought it was broken.😂
    Massive thanks to @vectra666 again for better reel symbols and also fixing coin sounds and giving me pointers during final tweaking.
    Also credit to @stevephipps for the classic on which it was based.
    And Merry Christmas to you all.🙂

    2 of 3 Christmas releases.
    We only had a classic for this so thought it deserved a DX.
    Massive thanks to @vectra666 for the extra reel resources to make the reels as they should be and nice and clear. Also for coin input sounds and blending cash lamps and teaching me how to do so in future, absolute legend.🙂
    Also a massive thanks to @roadrunner for the classic.🙂

  8. Maygay's Complete Madness £25.

    1 of 3 Christmas releases.
    Really enjoyed the £5 version by @dad and the £25 classic by @Johnnyafc, but felt a £25 DX was needed as these particular type of Maygay's on £5 can be a bit meh sometimes.
    Massive thanks to both mentioned above for the reels and classic.🙂
    Controls are in the notes.
    0=£1
    9=50p
    8=20p for inputs.

    There's a £15 variant by @Tommy c , but wanted a £25 version as well, so here it is. It's not my finest in my opinion, my 2 best so far will be released over Christmas.🙂
    Couldn't find a name on the classic, but whoever you are thankyou.
    And credit to @Tommy c for reels used.
    All standard controls.

    Road trip back to the 90's...if only.
    There's a perfectly good example from @Ploggy, but this might be a little clearer on big screens just because the advances in image software and emulator since then.
    Massive thanks to;
    @vectra666 for his assistance in fixing a few snags regarding the hi lo reel and his pointers along the way when needed.
    @steve phipps for the classic.
    @Ploggy for the reels and original layout.
    @slotsmagic and @dad for extra image resources.
    And anyone in the thread pointing out things which were incorrect such as top glass sizing.

    @Johnnyafc for the original and reel bands.
    @vectra666 for guidance as always.

  13. Barcrest's Weird Wolf.

    Right, first things first. It's pretty janky. I could have spent more time and effort, but for the images available and that being the reason nobody wanted to embarrass themselve's with it, so I've taken one for the team.😂
    Base image looked OK until lamping, so had to chop cash stack images from Vectra's Vamp It Up as using fonts it looked really out of whack. Symbols for the feature 'HOT' are actually stock images of jean rivets, FFS.😂 This whole thing is literally an exercise in me wanting the final piece of the Barcrest red and blue trail machines, regardless of how that was going to happen.
    It's best on a laptop which hides some things better. Such as not masking the inner trails. I have other things waiting that are far more deserving of the effort really as this was never going to be perfect.
    Added coin inputs 9=50p, 8=20p.
    Massive thanks to:
    @Mavroz for the classic and assisting with my questions and a really great conversation regarding MFME history etc. Top bloke.👍
    @vectra666 for helping with advice and issues I had relating to lamps, and for the bits I pilfered from VIU.
    @Amusements for a great resource for adding extra coin inputs.
    @edwardb for really interesting thread on how anti stats code works and why on some machines a multiple coin input is a nessecity.
    @infection for his archiving of images in Infections Images section. Always worth looking through just to find machines you may have forgotten about if nothing else.
    Also thanks to the community on here that inspire doing this.
    Anyone thinking of giving it a go should really consider it. If you choose something like this un DX'ed it kind of gives you a good chance to cut your teeth as at least it's something.

    Massive thanks to;
    @Tommy c for the original layout.
    @infection for the images.
    @WonkySausage for asking for this.
    @logopolis for the decent ROM's.
    I went with a lighter image, just because I think it suited the machine better. Can't believe this is from 2001, what times those were!
    Also a big thankyou to @woodsy, @vectra666, @Tommy c, @dad and others who have put the time into helping me get to creating, still learning but these guy's and others have made it possible, so thankyou.

    @Ross for the original DX which inspired me,
    @vectra666 as usual for answering questions and giving me pointers when required,
    @Wizard for the emulator.
    Standard controls, slight annoyance with step to nearest mask, but try as I might its persisting, but is pretty OK aside from that.

  18. Star Trekking by MDM.

    Massive thankyou to;
    @vectra666 for his assistance in helping to solve a few issues with lamps and excellent tutorage as usual.
    @dad @WonkySausage @Tommy c @spa @serene02 @MPU_FIVE for contributing to questions regarding various parts of this machine that needed working out for a DX. Also @Wizard who without we would never have the joy we have here.
    Controls are standard fare.
    It's not 100% perfect, couple of lamps may be a bit off, also exchange points, no idea of how they light on original so omitted these as it's easy enough to use the alpha and didn't want to add in any more artificial bits than needed.

    First proper attempt with the clone stamp tool courtesy of @slotsmagicwho went above and beyond in creating a video tutorial for me.
    Massive credit to classic creator, was no name attatched but i'm pretty sure @Clo06could be the creator so thankyou. Also @vectra666 for assistance and supplying another classic which was instrumental in some of the lamp numbers that were'nt on the original classic and providing extra material for the layout.
    Still working on my patience as I try to slow down and focus on quality, I tend to get to a point where I just race to finish, not ideal for this kind of thing really.😂
    Controls are standard format with guide in notes for anyone who does'nt know. Payout at 82%, realistic percentage for fruit machines by the sea at least or on the big resorts backk in the day, although probably far different these days with the handful of machines they do have.

    This was something I was doing alongside something else I'd just started when Big Ghoulies caused me grief. Was literally just a test to see if I had sorted transparency in Photoshop.
    Massive thanks to @Clo06 for the classic used as a base. @Wizardfor the emulator and everybody has has helped me along the path to creation.
    This kind of thing I would never have imagined doing, computer based stuff really is'nt my strong point, but its gettting addictive. 😂
    Controls are standard fare as per, was'nt quite sure what the deal with percentage setting on this was as no option to change. but seems to be around 80% after running a chunk of money through it.

  21. Big Ghoulies £5 DX

    Firstly I need to say that original image I was using had a sticker over the 'great' part, so this is the wrong cabinet which I apologise for. Really tried to up my game a bit here, but where logo chopped in at the top and a few places it is not really up to standard, but I'm workibg on it. Main reason for releasing was so less in the know like myself can download with the hopper issue fixed straight off the bat, thanks to @andy-1for that.🙂
    Also thanks to;
    @vectra666wouldn't have happened withou Vectra fixing the issue with transparency.
    @dad @Tommy c@logopolis as ever for guidance and invaluable input.
    @Liverpool2008 for the original images.
    @Tibbonow heres the insane thing, this guy joins up, and before even having enough rep to message or download in forums was tryingin his thread to pass on information to fix the Photoshop issue I was having. Thats right folks, a new mmember who was giving before taking a thing. Much respect.
    Also a big thankyou to all forum members as usual, this forum makes you want to give something back, lol, even if you are probably wishing I wouldn't.😂
    Set at 82%
    All standard controls except cash hi=Q and low=A then nudge trail hi=P and low=L.

  22. Astra's Fortune Teller £15 Jackpot

    Fortune Teller by Astra, set on arcade settings with the option to gamble wins. If you want to set as bingo setting without gamble just go to edit mode with cash door checked, configuration and then alter. Have set this machine on 82%, about realistic for a lot of decent seaside arcades at least.
    Massive credit to;
    @captainhaddockfor the main image and allowing me to use his classic.
    @vectra666for guiding me along the path ehen I have had questions.
    @woodsyfor getting me started on the path of creation and providing Ps and the knowledge to use.
    @Wizardfor this platform of joy and wonderment.
    @infectionfor his wide array of images nicely compiled Infection Images section.
    @dad@slotsmagic@Tommy c@spa@Clo06@Multi Retro Man and many others I have probably failed to mention for taking the time to impart knowledge and advice when needed.
    Really a big Thankyou to everyone on the forum, to have a community so helpful and willing to assist people to achieve is absolutely amazing. If the world was like this forum we would be living in a Utopia. This isn't actually my first DX, I may release the first, second is kind of ongoing but not really great but will likely release at some point.
    Quality will improve, only just getting used to Ps and laptop is a complete sack running old CPU, onboard graphics,very tempermental trackpad and a mighty 2GB of RAM!😂Goes to show its still possible though, and if computer illiterate like me can do this then anyone can, so hopefully this will inspire more to create.
