  1. Just want to say thanks to everyone for their kind words and gratitude it gives me the incentive to have another pop and will, I just have many other things on atm and that is not a feeble excuse.

Glad you are all enjoying it :)

    You're welcome :D

I'm enjoying finding these little things and learning myself how to fix them as it helps me learn more about how things work, like the lockout option. I didn't realise you could select it and when you pressed it, it wouldn't actually do anything, so if you lockout the pound entry, no matter how many times you use it, even if it's configured correctly, it won't insert the coin. :)

Tbh the only time that really comes in handy is on Autoplay, imagine doing a club machine and leaving it over night (or longer) to wake in the morning (or come back to it much later) and find out you have a mech alarm going off, several hours or longer wasted. I probably have thanked you for this already @Laylow but have another:D

I remember my first one, it was Volcano and a massive learning curve, as you have found too.

I had further problems in that the old laptop I was using kept restarting randomly, which meant I had to keep quitting out of it after every 2 changes or so, just in case it crashed again.

I have made many mistakes in the past so don't be too hard on yourself :)

People have helped me with some of my issues, including the late fantastic Wizard himself and I didn't really realise it was him until after a few conversations with him.

Thanks MRM and now I know what you guys and girls go through to give us entertainment which after finishing I was completely right about from the beginning, it is different being on the other side of the fence but before this I have messed about and pulled layouts apart to understand (kept the originals of course) and has been going on for many months, it all basically started with Slasher who kept pushing me and got me on Team Viewer which meant it was a bit more easier to learn as felt like he was sitting next to me.

To say this is your first release, what a great start! Loving the machine and the graphics etc.

I did notice that when I pressed 0, sometimes it inserted a 20p and sometimes a £1 coin. What I did was edit the 20p coin slot to use number 9 on the keyboard for the 20p coin insert and leave 0 as the £1 coin insert.

Just a very minor thing but the game itself is brilliant.

    Many thanks indeed :D

Believe it was a lot of headache as it was my first try and have missed a couple of other things out but was pushed around by @bungle so much I didn't have a choice, glad he did tbh.

That was my mistake but I have resubmitted it, uploaded the wrong file.

I can but it doesn't specify which game I loaded, it just pops up this window...

    Capture.PNG

Both blended and unblended versions work as you should have two in a folder. You sure it is this particular layout you are trying to load or a different version done by someone else? This has never been blacklisted since I nicked it on release, so I don't get it.

when u say "upload to the release topic" what does this mean, can i add it onto the comments here os is there a specific thread for happy files.

I have one ready for the £250 version now

    Here,

    https://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/forum/19-layout-ramgam-files/

or so you know in future go to forums up top and scroll down to 'Layouts it's third on the list and as Vecs said just the ram+gam. I also find it a lot easier and quicker to mix Autoplay with manual because as much as you set a bot to do stupid choices a stupid choice can still be for it to "accidently" hit a JP, believe me I've had it🤬😂

@vectra666 who cares if it is ropey in places it is bloody fantastic, you put a lot of work into creating so thanks and respect for that bud😊

This is an amazing reproduction. I've played a few emulations before, but this is a totally different level. The sound of the money dropping nearly has me reaching under my computer desk to fish out the coins. I spent hours playing this machine as a teenager, the sound of the nudges and sidewinder are embedded in my memory and this brings it all back. I really appreciate the work you have put into this, you really have brought this piece of hardware back to life. Well done @Amusements

Hahahaha told you, there are so many others too who have created great masterpieces, enjoy.

He does free things where if you play the games, you have a chance to win free money via his Facebook page. :)

Yep I know, haven't played them for near 3 years but still have them in my Google play history. I might consider re-downloading a few as had some Bar X style ones too.

Sorry to go too off topic @Tommy c

I found this game by @CAshman_eq released for Android and I had never seen it before.

This is a great game and I love playing it :D

A great end to the triple releases :)

Use to have Cashman stuff on phone but as soon as I found MFME I binned it. Hats off to him still as had games on there that were easily manipulated like that one that looked like JPM Big Bucks.

Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't know that one existed. Masterspy and alladin's cave are the only 2 I've seen and used to play.

We dont have Masterspy just yet but never say never here, some are full of surprises.

very true, i rarely thanked him in my layouts but always thanked him when there was a mfme update or when he offered his updates in beta or helped me with layouts/roms etc. i will always be grateful for what he gave us but can't thank him every time i release a layout or three

or in your case shite loads of layouts, I'msure he got where you was coming from though.

  13. I have no interest in real fruit machines anymore tbh, that went out the window a couple of years ago down Herne Bay Cains Amusements (the family know him well as far back as the old bingo times, when my Gran, Auntie and Mother use to go in practically every week) and lost £300 on Magic 10 and Bar 7evens, went back to the caravan with a bottle of scotch and fired up all three of Dads layouts, Bar 7even and Magic 7 on either side (left on Automatic play) with Double Cash in the middle, from then on I put diddly squat into a fruit machine since then (what a great fucking night and the turning point of knocking it all on the head). I can lose ten grand in a machine and still walk away even, where else can you do that!!

As far as I am concerned Chris lives within all of us, we all have some form of piece of him floating around inside us and brilliant memories too, that in itself keeps the fire burning for a long long time.

Thank you @Big J, your kind words are very much appreciated.

I wanted to do something different and am still experimenting with layouts etc and learning all the time :)

What I value most though is your honesty and time you took to comment :D

Anytime mate, rather be upfront than just ignore. I especially thank for others mainly because it hopefully keeps them away from the real thing, these ones in particularly are the most dangerous so I see it as saving people from themselves including me, a great service people like you give to this scene and I know I keep banging on about it (will do for some time) but especially @Wizard who saved a lot us from self destruction.
