Had an Amiga A500 that would creak as my fan heater would heat my bedroom and cause the Amiga to crash loads! Annoying! Later got hold of an Amiga A1200

Looking forward to seeing the gambling low ebbs video... from what i have read here and seen on other youtube videos there are some facinating stories around the subject, I have never been in the shoes of you guys though, I've always been just a casual player, I'm too tight with money to put loads in... i think my record amount i spent in an arcade in a day was £50 but that was a one off.... just a drop in the ocean compared to the true gamblers out there.

Can i make DX layouts using Gimp instead of Photoshop?
MPU_FIVE replied to MPU_FIVE's topic in Emulator Chat
Cool... maybe i shall do that too... cheers A:E Thank you anyway, Vectra So it is looking like Photoshop is the way to go then... nobody has used Gimp for FME by look of it. Thank you all for your input! -
Can i make DX layouts using Gimp instead of Photoshop?

Ok, thank you for your reply, A:E :) -
Hi, does anyone else use Gimp to make DX's with or is Photoshop a must have? Have always fancied having a go, but don't want to pay for Photoshop as i don't know if i will ever actually be any good at it. I have no artistic skills for a start! I saw a Youtube video about Gimp 2.10.0 which has recently been released and the video was describing it as being pretty close to Photoshop... 10 years ago i made a bodged up classic layout of Daylight Robbery, and would like a dabble at layout creation again. Thank you in advance for any advice you may have. All the best, Gary.

So hard to pick!!! But here goes... and bet after i post there will be others pop in my head which i should of put instead! Sod's law, the list is in no order of preference apart from the number 1 spot which has to go to What a carry on, simply because as a casual gamer i love the fact it goes on the feature board so much.. to me it never mattered about winning money, it's all about the pleasure of playing the games, and listening to the sound package the machines had. 1) What a carry on (PCP) 2) Red hot rocks (QPS) 3) Andy Capp (Barcrest) 4) L of a day (Project) 5) Fairground (JPM) 6) Adders n ladders (Barcrest) 7) Terminator (JPM) 8} Line up (Barcrest) 9) Cash lab (QPS) 10) Fruit explosion (Maygay)

Really enjoyed the Eastenders and Coronation street videos, Degsey... the Jackanory bit was a good listen too... at least you did'nt lose the last £20 and managed to win the love of Mrs Degsey!

My first computer was a ZX Spectrum 48k rubber key affair... remember getting it christmas 1985.... had the keyboard upgraded in 1987 to the ZX Spectrum+ ... still own it to this day. Got to say Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy were favourite games of mine, best i did at Manic Miner was to get to "the warehouse" which is the 17th room out of 20. Played Bomb Jack loads too, and the puzzle game "Tilt" Also have to say i was rather impressed with the Speccy's conversion of Sega's Super Hang-on.
