  1. @Reg I can patch the Chr routine while it's running and get it to boot and play. Alpha display (second half) is a bit broken in this video, but I jiggled around some settings and then it looks like it may display correctly. Does seem to expect standard-ish buttons/ and coin button mappings: Trouble is that to do this as a ROM patch, I'll need to also figure out potentially a bypass for the checksum routine. Once I've done this patch on the fly, attempting to reset the machine results in no boot. This is almost certainly due to my patched bytes meaning the ROM checksum is out. Probably not quick... To boot, you need to add a breakpoint on 0800 (standard Chr address), once it hits that during boot sequence, you need to set bytes d1df and d1e1 to zero. Then resume past the breakpoint and the machine will boot. Tagging you @andrew96 as I know you're interested in this sort of thing If someone has time to figure out a checksum bypass patch, then the hack above can be made in the ROM image, and then you should have a booting ROM. Whether that can be made into a playable game in MFME, I've no idea - I can't tell if it's working properly or not from that play in the video above! After changing some settings, one of these meant that the Alpha looked to be working properly:

  4. Thanks for making it nice and high res! Been a bit busy with real life stuff of late, and had practically no time for Arcade Sim coding - I do have that cabinet made though, and the layout looks like it should convert with current process, might see about getting this in as a one off later

  5. I had hitthesix on my TODO list on the permissions sheet (From a Mazooma 'Golden X' layout) - so still need to send message, I've added "£6intokens" to find and message, thanks for the heads up! (I can't share a public link for the permissions tracking sheet like I do with the other sheets, as it has bits of people's personal info like other aliases etc.)

Here's something special for the early may bank holiday to relive your youth (if old like me) or just to have a nice good old fashioned play High Rise by Barcrest is a game of Hi Lo, two of them. in fact i read somewhere it was the first machine to have dual Hi Lo reels within? This machine featured in Coronation Street where it sat in Gail's Cafe and her son Nick became Addicted to fruities, probs for only a week going by soapland storylines. still not found the Youtube footage of it yet? anyways enough Waffling now the credits First Thanks to @Reg for bringing up the machine in a recent topic which included the flyer (which i'll upload to this topic in a mo)asking for it to be re-emulated, I hope i've done it justice!! @CompostCORNER - classic layout, Image Dynamics for the Dx i used as a base including most of the reel symbols (jackpot homemade from image) Slotto from the mecca for uploading the main image used in producing this gem and of course @Wizard for mfme's past n present i think the coin inputs are now correct as i've used mpu4 token from the drop down list as the standard 20 was for 20p's (change yours @Reg if needed) shortcuts are as standard but are listed within the £4.80 version. The Hi Lo's are as followed Red Hi = 4, Lo = 5, Green Hi = 6, Lo = 7 Plays in Mfme 20.1 Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!!

thanks and respect to wizard. what a legend. thanks to @dad for very kindly providing me with the .psd for his exceptional reels in his £10 dx. and also to @Liverpool2008 for the incredible images provided and his continued attempts to help with more to make these super 48mp images perfection... this is a SUPER HIGH RES IMAGE, it's made with arcade sim in mind and for the cabinet users at home, it's a whopping 43mb .fml so be aware when downloading.. IF LIKE ME YOU ARE ONLY 1080p, I STRONGLY SUGGEST DOWNLOADING THE DX09 BY @dad £10 VERSION, IT'S GLORIOUS! AS ARE ARE THE MANY EXISTING VERSIONS this has blended lamps and different features to the £10/15 versions, no MEGA CASH, the notes now are only used as the bank!! but it looks great in attract mode!! this is the first of many upcoming super hd images that i'm releasing using the images from liv2008.. they all exist already in some form but the releases i produce will be awesome so obviously it's worth my time and effort thanks also to the previous releasers of this game as lamping mpu4 was tricky.... or i just found it hard haha.. BEST WISHES ONE AND ALL WOODSY

  10. I just checked it with my tools for patching chr/lamp protection out, unfortunately they don't recognise anything: I've only used it on common Barcrest/Bwb etc manufactured MPU3/4s... so its security routine doesn't have any signatures that my stuff is set up to spot. To be honest I don't think I've ever seen that before (zero sigs found), so it's definitely an unusual ROM!

  11. @johnparker007 you mention on your list about Skill Shuffle in the JPM Vogue cabinet. It was a acutally an MPU4 game, the cabinet was Vogue but the inside was an MPU4 game ! It never worked on MFME - there as a problem - the chip had a security error. If it can ever be patched, I have good quality images of the glass. SkillShuffle.rar

  12. The addition of all those fruit machine flyers on the Machines sheet is really cool! Public link here if anyone wants to view the info coming together: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wOMCTOBThxv8AgPYb-suvmM6AuXpqAOsVCyJUlofjvA/edit?usp=sharing ...on the Machines sheet, some games now have flyers you can hover over, thanks to Spa, along with tons of other help with data gathering for the new 'Cabinets V2' sheet. The Machines sheet is very disorganised at present (due to me pasting things in blocks of info), I'm keeping it in that order for now for Arcade Sim ref. At some later point I'll make a 'V2' of the Machines sheet that will be cleaner.

  19. Thanks for letting us know I do need to get some explanatory error popups in there for when people try to run an MFME-based fruit machine without the correct MFME exe available.
