8 for me, discovered FME on the 14th August 2001, always been wearecity, I'd just turned 31 then. Just wished I'd learnt how to do a layout, much earlier than I did.

I have it running on an old Surface Pro model. My model, is about 8 years old now. Depending on how powerful the pro, I find determines how noisy and hot it get when running MFME. My mates is about 9 years old and his is a lot noisier and hotter than mine.

If you've a friend like Harry, then you don't need to buy anything. I'm sure he will sort you out with getting up and running.

Everyone has them, they are in a file called tips.txt, that's in the MFME v20, installation folder. One area, no one really did anything for, back in the beginning of FME, was good documentation on each function within the emulator. When I used to do discs for my friends back in 2001-2003, I had written a guide about loading and playing. But it wasn't overly detailed, as for instance, I wasn't designing, so never knew anything about that aspect.

You could try an older version, one that had an XP version, like v5.1 or v6.1. Or I guess even older like v3.2.

There's ways around upgrading I believe, something to do with editing an. ini file IIRC, was one of them. I'll probably just stick with 10 on my laptop. Microsoft were cheeky saying 10 was the last Windows version. Then release 11 and then make it restricted on who can upgrade, including some people who had new machines. Surprised no one has started a super lawsuit or whatever it's called, against them.

Hi it's great you wish to donate. There's not really a set amount but £10 is probably what most people who donate for the first time do. The donation is linked to your account by the admin. It won't be instant, but it's not normally more than a day or two.

A classic, but a game, I disliked on the Spectrum 48K. Always found it very difficult and over the years have never liked games, that was set with this isometric view. Never got into any of those games like Head and Tails. Even Last Ninja, I didn't like. As an aside, I always thought it was written by a woman. Some would say, so what, but remember video games, weren't really a female thing back in the early 80's, so as a 12/13 year old kid, I thought, wow, some girls do like computer games. But also I thought that, because we had a female lodger back in the day called Sandy.

Show Me The Money. A QPS Interactive machine, on Scorpion 5 tech THIS LAYOUT IS MUTE, Note acceptor not used. £25 Jackpot, 30p Play, 82% Payout For me a first, my first attempt at a disc reel in a layout. It's a mixture of real graphics and classic components. Not perhaps, 100% perfect looking, but works 100% fine. I believe the arrows in the centre, are for decorative purposes only. I would welcome feedback from those who have done a disc reel, as to what I could do differently. KEYS: '=Cancel, C=Collect, 1=Hold 1, 2=Hold 2/Hi, 3=Hold 3/Lo, T=Transfer (not used), E=Exchange, Space=Start, S=Spin, M=Move, F=Feature, H=Cash, 0=Insert £1 THANKS TO: WIZARD (RIP) FOR THE WONDERFUL MFME EMULATOR PLAYER FOR THE EXCELLENT RESOURCES The Program Rom provider QPS and whoever owns them now, for leaving FME alone -

Hopefully, I have discovered what causes it. If you right click on the word "again" around the play it again button and choose properties, in shortcut box is P, if you right click in the box to clear it, then apply, it should stop that from happening. If you confirm I'll re upload again. I don't normally play with shortcut keys, only with mouse or touch, so that's why it never happened to me, in all the time I played it, when doing the layout.

The DX is deluxe and the phrase was coined by Gary when he did the first DX which was Viva Espana way back in 2001. Before the DX, we just called classic layouts, layouts. I guess after the DX, we had to call non DX's something, so classic became a term for them. I only do classics and they can take tens of hours to do, particularly if you put some real effort into them. But even I don't keep any of my classics in my main collection, I keep them separate from it. I'd also be happy to see a machine I've done a classic for, get a DX ASAP. Back in the day though, I guarantee you if you wanted to play FME, you would have had more classics than DX's. But nowadays we are so spoilt, we can be very choosy.
