I never met him in person, and only ever spoke to him very occasionally by message on this site. I will say, that for every donation I have ever made to this site, I always got an immediate and genuine thank you. The free service he has provided on here has, I am absolutely sure, helped many compulsive gamblers handle their own personal demons - and i fully include myself in that list. Not may people are good enough to make their dream a reality, and fewer still will share that across a like minded community free of charge. RIP and thank you for everything

Out of interest - where the JP's really £2 cash as long ago as 82? I know they would have been 2p - £2.00 from at least 88/89 as that when the 13yr old fool I was started playing

if i recall correctly... I believe when all loaded, you click ALT and L (Might be CONTROL and L) if this is incorrect then my memory is failing worse than I suspected.....

@Boulderdash Thats the one... i couldnt do it and i was mostly pretty good at skill... but worked it out very early on in the machines life. My mate - and he is a good friend - made thousands on it.

Money Laundry would be a good one if the roms are available.. As would be the Good times free win (Blink king crazy i think) The manipulable DOND on the numbers (lower than a 2 and higher than 11) were good fun as well and off course the £35 DOND machine you could empy on 10p play... cant remember the name - but 2nd or 3rd feature was true skill. My mate had 2! in the same Spoons - both being fully refilled daily....... Would be awesome to see some more of the quiz machine tricks - such as Connect 4, there were a fair few of these knocking around as well

My local arcade firm, who owned 4 in the town, had a NUdge XS where the RAM battery was f***ed - result was £30-40 token streak every morning, then they would turn it off to wait for a refill - if this didnt happen til the afternoon, then voila! They moved it too two different sites before they eventually fixed it..... booo.........
