Yes, there are still a few of the original 'mechanical' ones around. I still find them more fun to play then the digital ones. They just seem to play better, and give more of a game, whilst offering more features, rather than just the generic Free Spins.
Most of the pub ones are being changed to digital now, but I play a lot of snooker, and some of the clubs have the original machines. My local club still has 4 original ones, ranging from 10p play £5 jackpot, to the £1 play £100 jackpots.
I still play old style machines, but stay away from the digital ones, as they seem even harsher than the old machines.
This is a great site for playing and bringing back memories though. I've had a session on the £6 Pink Panther machine a while ago. Great night.

Hi @STU1980. Some great machines there! I remember playing King Kebab. Homers Meltdown is an absolute classic.
Some of my favourites are Crazy Fruits (any jackpot, I just like the machine!), the Club Cops and Robbers £150 jackpot, the old £6 Andy Capp machine, and the £250 Club Casino Crazy.
I have managed to jackpot two clubbers in my time. the £250 Casino Crazy, which dropped by Jackpotting on the winspins side, and Club Thunderbirds, which did the same thing but on the features side. The Casino Crazy jackpot happened from a £10 deposit too! Bonus.
I've tried Psycho Cash Beast on here on a £25 jackpot but not on a clubber, I'll have to give it a go.
Have you managed to drop any clubbers?

I always find Pharoahs Gold £250 club machine a hard one to Jackpot. Great game though, it just keeps you playing. Also The Blackjack Club (£250) from Global. I've yet to drop it!
What's your favourite machine to play @STU1980?

Hi everyone
Just a quick question - is it possible to change the percentage payouts on machines? If so, could someone help me out and show me advise me how this is done please?
I'm trying to play some of my favourite machines as close to they were in the wild.
Thanks

Hi
I saw a post a while ago with the suggestion of doing a challenge on MFME. I think it was reaching the bank limit on ActionBank.
I like the idea of doing challenges on MKME and often start playing a machine with, say, £20, and playing to see what profit I can make at the end of the £20, as if I was playing in an arcade.
Would anyone have any suggestions of good machines to do this on, or any other challenges any other members have done?
Really enjoying MFME

Hi. @Chopaholic, Im still going through your YouTube videos, and enjoying every minute. Almost caught up now!
Just have a quick question if I may. I've seen in some of your videos that you re able to display the session stats at the top of the emulator screen, instead of the lifetime machine stats? Is there a way to do this for us mere mortals?!
Thanks

Don't forget to look for "Cash Alarm" too:) Same era, and also done by Pook!
Thanks @Amusements. I've not heard of Cash Alarm, but I'll have a look. I just like playing the machines I used to play in the arcades! Thanks again

I have a vague memory of a 2p play machine called Blue Streak in the arcades, a long while ago. Does anyone know who made this machine and whether its emulated? Thanks

Right, after a few JPM's, Barcrest it is then!

The features from 11th Heaven and up are all JP or equivalent features - so always collect these. Shockwave is the trickiest of them - you would take 11th Heaven on a guaranteed number rather than Shockwave
You can either collect value and wait for an opportunity, or semi force for 11th Heaven, collecting value after.
Look out for the red boxes for hidden features on nudges (and occasionally Super Hold) as a number of these will give a shot at JP as well.
Important to not mess up either Steppa or Big shot off the bonuses.
If forced, or played for through 11th Heaven JP can repeat up to £60.... but if collecting wins for value will be a flat £15. In theory, Big 50 can pay £50..... I have never seen more than £30.
Have fun - the JPM's from this era are fantastic - check out Arcadia and Cracker!
@MikeyMonsterthanks for your reply. I'll have another play and let you know how I get on!
I've played Arcadia which is brilliant. I'll have a look at Cracker. Thanks again for the brilliant response.

It does a guarantee board when all the exchanges light up both sides, from memory it’s like a red alert, you don’t play for jackpot instead take all the wins you can set up on nudges etc, @logopolis can you help further?!?
Thanks for this, I've started taking the smaller wins and it seems much happier. Maybe just not a machine to push for jackpot.

@woodsyThanks, and I have looked the legacy section! Amazing!

It's quite unbelievable how realistic the emulators are. I know that sounds daft when they are supposed to emulate, but they are really close!
Just watched your video on Maygay's Eastenders machine. Downloaded it whilst watching. What a great machine. I have good memories of playing this in the arcades at the seaside!

@Chopaholic started watching your YouTube videos during the first lockdown, which is what got me into emulation. Used your beginners guide to installing MFME to help. Thank you for the great content, and I am slowly working my way through your older YouTube videos too.
Club Crazy Fruits has to be my all time favourite machine, although I do like the JPM machines too.

Hi everyone. Still fairly new to the emulation scene, and really enjoying the site. Just downloaded JPM's Impulse by @Tommy c. What a great machine! Seems very playable, but I'm struggling to drop the jackpot! Is this the standard JPM play format of collect whatever value you can get? And maybe not push for jackpot?
Great layout by the way @Tommy c, thank you. And as always to Wizard for the emulator.
Hope people don't mind a chat, really enjoying the area.

Be aware if you Ram Clear newer machines, especially Scorp 4 & 5 machines you will have to set the Note Acceptor / Hoppers and Maybe Coin input up again which can be tricky if you don't know what you are doing.
Hi @Mavroz Thanks for your reply. Doesn't sound like a good idea for me to do that then! Wouldn't have a clue how to set things like that up! Thanks again!

Think you have said that a little wrong, if you factory reset it all stats return to zero, or you can execute long term or current stats,
To factory reset (clear ram to 0)> Config then clear ram down the bottom,
For long term stats> File-Preferences-check long term meters (7th box).
Hope that helps.
Hi @Zippy Thanks for your reply. That's exactly what i meant, and helps a lot. I'm new to this emulation, but I'm glad you understood what I meant to say! Thanks again!

Hi. Played a few layouts now and really enjoyed them. Is there a way to reset a machine to factory settings, so that you know exactly how much has gone into it? Thanks.

@stevedude2I remember all those! Great games, and in my opinion, the best era for fruit machines.

@vectra666 don't remember CashCounter, but the others are all great games!
Favourite Deal or No Deal

Hi everyone. Normally I tend not to play the Deal or No Deal games, but today I've spent most of the afternoon on Can You Beat The Banker £35 jackpot by @vectra666.
Great machine! I found myself trying out all the features, and trying to get a double mega streak (if that's possible!).
Just wondered what everyone's favourite Deal or No Deal Machine is?
@Chopaholic Can You Beat the Banker would be a great video for your excellent YouTube channel!
