  1. The Royle Family £15 dx

    wizard rip.
thanks to @infection for the image used which was 45 degree angle and the only one he had so i feel it's pretty decent for what i had. image attached, the buttons are skewiff which is the giveaway.. thanks to the previous dx creator who i got the roms and lamping from..
thanks to @vectra666 for the lovely cab, and to @Matty.n for the reel symbols available in downloads. and vecs for some too..
TRY AS I MAY (AND I FEKKING TRIED FOR HOURS) I COULD NOT FIND A LAMP MASK # FOR THE HI LO BAND! PLEASE ADVISE IF YOU DO! but i believe thats the reason for the blocked parts??? and i can't remember from my days playing..
Believe what you want but i developed the emptier on this myself before it became well known, i found that with 10p credit left in the game if i changed stake after collecting funny money it would hold the cherries and give me a free board, it took a few of us discussing to work out the full empty..
this is a game i loved dearly, unfortunately for me the very best games of my playing career ended up having methods which led to them being gone too soon.
there are hi lo shortcuts assigned to the numberic keyboard.. press ctrl e, then right click to the buttons, select properties and change to your own or i can release an update if too many people don't have the keyboard..
    shortcuts are within the notes
i tried in vain to do this in a day, but it became more and more beautiful as the day went on that i spent another day touching up every part i could for the love of this game!
last released in 2001 by unknown.. re-released and touched up with new reels and redrawn band reel.. the wild symbol is as close as i could dream of getting, improvements are welcomed and feedback is appreciated as i'm ego mad hahah...

woodsyfucious says man who play layout sometime get payout. there's a happy ram subfolder included with this layout for just that purpose!!! it's ready to streak for £75+ and if anyone needs help to make use of the happy ram by switching the states just ask i will happily help as will everyone else i imagine so enjoy!!
    thanks to wizard..
thanks to @andrew96 for the missing sound roms that make the set complete and really are the highlight of this layout!!! @Matty.n for the classic with which i was able to butcher together a disc reel and that alone saved a lot of stress between his and @dad's layouts i got the disc reel to a place i'm very happy with!! thanks guys!!
thanks to @infection for the nice high res images which i pieced together from a few separate ones to make the full layout, there were 21 hidden lamps that the photos don't display so i've had to use my imagination with those and i used @Tommy c's spin on it layout for the rough guide on placement etc so thanks also to you guys, and thanks to @vectra666 for the better resolution win decals which are used to make this a £25 layout as only had £5 ones available.. I will be releasing £5 versions of all the impulse layouts i've done in due course..
next up from impulse's classic games by me will be GERONIMO!!!

  3. HIGH VOLTAGE £5/25 IMPULSE GAMING

Thanks to wizard for making mfme possible for us all..
thanks to @vectra666 for the reels that i edited for this layout from his classic, and for the help the help and the bit more help along the way with patience of a saint he aided me no end... AGAIN.. also thanks to @spa for the beautiful hi-def photo's that this layout has been made with allowing for a true representation of a great game to play, @infection for his original images and the constant support along the way, mentions to for @Tommy c and @wearecity for little tips and know how's that aided my processes along the way too. It took a good deal of time and love to stick with this and the 4th and final attempt is definitely worth it all..
I've made a few artistic changes as necessary to have two LOSE lamps that were invisible on the photo's, and i also had to remove a lot of reflected flash on the top half of the machine which has areas that i have cloned and drawn so some minor blurring and colour changes occur but i hope you'll agree it's minimal in it's effect on appearance.
All the shortcuts are within the notes as usual.
I hope you enjoy this game as much as I do, It's good honest value... Next up SPARTACASH!!!

  5. Las Vegas Strip £8 token & £10 cash

thanks to wizard for the amazing mfme. It's crazy!!
thanks to @vectra666 @No1Stoney @spa @baz1379 @Dean @marie2003 and many others who bit by bit have made the jigsaw work to a releasable standard imo.
thanks to @Road Hog Mad for sourcing new images semi h-r that i cut out and stitched into several other bits and bobs to make a layout.
there are two version's £8 token jp and £10 cash jp both 20p play and set at 86%
i have had the biggest struggle so far with this game, honestly the most stressful layout of the lot that i've done. But i hope it's been worth it, it's the name trail that proved incredibly difficult to get right..
hope you enjoy the blast from the pier's past.

  7. Throw a Wobbler DX

after discussion with @PekoJPF here is the dx version of throw a wobbler, he has been the vital ingredient in this process for without his classic i would of struggled to complete this as it had a few hurdles to manoeuvre along the way and as requested by pekojpf here are the people he wishes to thank for enabling his success and of course the sentiment is doubled by my desire to thank the following people for their involvement along the way.
@Matty.n (Test mode advice and overall support) @wearecity (Cracking the UNUSED INPUT error) @Reg (Allowing me to use his reels from Flash Cash, and hosting, running DIF) The ROM provider @serene02 for patient and detailed advice and guidance creating individual masks and lamping advice @Wizard (Without him, what would we have....?)
PLEASE BE AWARE THIS INCLUDES A EXPERIMENTAL LAYOUT DESIGN; the art i had was mainly on, so i used it as i do, but one of the bulbs on the real machine was broken/off instead of fixing it i ran with it as i have played many a machine with a broken bulb (who hasn't).. it's still there just unlit, so you can collect it and it doesn't change anything other than add to the authenticity that i'm striving for.. INCLUDED IS A SEPERATE FOLDER WITH THE LAMP FIXED AND WORKING IF THE USER PREFERS IT BUT THE BROKEN BULB LAYOUT IS MY SUGGESTED ONE AS IT'S HAD A LOT OF PLAYTIME THROUGH IT. There are also a lot of areas with light reflections so be kind.
please pay attention to the hi/lo reel as it's as close to a replica as my skills could create, i'm very happy with it...
the other detail that i've been spending so long on which has delayed my usual layout speed (for the better) are the masks, the cherry one is class and the whole jelly has individual blended masks..  DO NOT UNPACK THE REMAINING BLENDED MASKS AS THAT WILL DISABLE THE SHOOT LAMPS IN ATTRACT MODE WORKING AS DESIRED I HAVE ALREADY UNPACKED THE ONES THAT NEEDED IT.
I had extreme difficulty with the red jelly lamping and this is the style i've ended on after a good 20+ variances through testing..
the reels are by @Reg with the new number overlays being mine, the purple mystery win backing is authentic to the machine too.. all stressful and difficult haha. I hope you all enjoy it..

  8. Caesers Palace £15 DX

thanks to wizard. this has now been updated by @Ginge and it's looking awesome
THANKS TO ROSS WHO'S DX I TOOK THE REELS FROM AND IS A AWESOME DX FROM MFME 3.0
THANKS TO @vectra666 FOR THE SHINY NEW CABINET IT IS IN..
thanks also to @Reg who made the original reels.
if anyone wishes to assist in editing and improving the number reel please please PLEASE DO. i am not competent at that but and would really benefit from a hand with them.
the reels will be updated in due course but for now they are facilitating the release and until further notice there are no better options. once again please feel free to help with this!
once again there is a existing dx or two of this file, ONLY DOWNLOAD IF YOU WANT TO. THE EXISTING DX'S ARE MORE THAN ADEQUATE. IN FACT ROSS' IS AWESOME!!!
this is another experimental upsized higher res layout than previously available, there is nothing wrong with the existing files, they are just small and 15 years out of touch with current software and was released in mfme 3.0 to highlight the time it['s been since revisited.
I love these games and they are my best work as always, they are bigger than usual layouts, so if you have a screen resolution of under 1080-1920 maybe wait for now until you have a higher resolution screen at some point. Anyone who wants to edit the layout will have to increase the mfme window size in edit mode to the maximum option, but hey why would you paint over a picasso
the shortcuts are included in the notes but for a bit of simplicity 2,3 is also hi-lo for BOTH SIDES!! OOOOH
    with love WOODSY

  9. Snakez & Ladderz £70 DX

You know Wizard, he must've been one hell of a guy, I was a bit late to the fml party but you have to think, without his efforts and his time none of this would be possible, from 2p nudger to £100 reflex's and everything in-between that I and countless others have spent time utilising to recreate these amazing layouts and emulations for all to enjoy. I really think that is amazing, what's even more amazing is that it is free, I mean really free, when do we ever get that lucky!! I'm proud to be able to share my work for free to anyone and everyone so please if you have found this website or my layouts after purchasing from a unknown source please ask for a refund and report the seller. I don't judge you or do you need to tell anyone about it etc. I just want that to be how it's dealt with if it applies to you. Now you're here stick around and say hi, the community will welcome you as they did me and you'll have access to thousands of free layouts so it ends well in my opinion. (SAY NO MORE)
Anyways this is Red Gaming's £70 version of SNAKEZ AND LADDERZ
Thanks go to @Reg whose reels I altered slightly and the lamp map i used for assistance here, as for the classics which are quality releases and which kinda inspired me to try a bit harder than ever to release it with the glass overlay details. The glass in the real machine has the snakes and ladders as a overlay above the lamped feature board squares, that's something I really wanted to re-create and after several mishaps I've managed it, there were many attempts prior to this by myself which were jumping due to a few pixels difference and this is next to perfect imo. That allows for the layout to seem as close to a copy as possible with the skills i have anyway, I also had to use a different lamping method for the feature squares as the omni would of left the words illegible and their not much better tbh but actually they really are, so I hope it's appreciated by critical artists
thanks to @infection for the base images.. thanks to @vectra666 for linking the classic as tbh i had started this a while back and couldn't find the roms so it was never going to happen until the classic was linked to me!! community helpfulness 101!
The gameplay is really different to any red game I can recall, and you really get value for money here, the features are long and often.
there is a step value displayed by the right of the hi-lo reel when you take a feature that has reel steps that comes into play, they're red if you can't read the boxes to well!! and for a while i didn't understand why after getting a feature via auto nudge, the RESPIN function remained lit.... Well it can change the outcome of reel steps and reel blasts!! so now you know more than I did starting out!!
I may have been a bit OTT when it come to highlighting the free side of things with this release but I won't keep doing that and boring the 99.9% of us that are aware and so on etc etc, it's just a one off reaction to recent events which honestly made me a little downbeat but must be worse for some of the long term artists, especially after one now has announced they will no longer be releasing FANTASTIC layouts, I'm sorry but I wanted to put out my thoughts and will not keep doing so after..
As always thanks to the community on a whole for helpful, supportive and welcoming feedback.
    Hope you enjoy this layout

  10. SUPER HYPER VYPER £6 20P

thanks to wizard for mfme, thanks to leehaim for the original layout, thanks to @Road Hog Mad for the idea.
thanks to classic designers all round..
It's more of a size increase than an artistic upgrade but tbh I loved doing it as I will all the layouts i create, I mean no disrespect to any and every artist in fml land but I will keep learning and loving making layouts as always, as well you all know I try very hard to fill in the missing gaps where possible DX wise, however they are running out of course and art is hard to come by at times, where possible i will seek permissions to add my version of a layout, obviously where high res recent work has been done there's no point but with the new 2022 software and mfme 20.1 options only now available it's possible to do things that weren't possible 10-20 years ago, basically I'm trying to ensure it's fully understood it's love of the games and the artwork that drives me to do layouts, not a ego trip attempt to do a better version etc..
I've started a request thread, I'll do my best to help as always!
anyways the mrs played this earlier, she's never played a fruit ever, after a brief tutorial explaining why the reels flash and move haha, she gave it a thumbs up and wants to go to mr p's to spend £20 hahaha
so that should tell you it's alright eh
    enjoy
    WOODSY
now has @serene02 's unbelievably realistic redrawn coin mech, i did only learn photoshop at the same time i did mfme layout creation so i apologize for little errors  or big
