  1. Thanks for this, I'll give it a go.
  2. Gameplay was alright after all. Thanks again.
  3. Thanks for this, I'll give it a go.
  4. Thank you for this. Against my better judgement (because of the positive comments) I'm going to give it a go, but I've never found a Red machine I haven't hated. Barcrest's evil bastard brother.
  5. Yes, Alex's videos are very good and easy to follow. I highly recommend them. An avid addict of fruit machines and other forms of gambling when I was younger, the idea of emptiers was bloody exciting. I spent thousands of pounds trying to make money on the emptiers over the years, well after being chipped out. I never heard of a profitable emptier while it was 'in the wild'. It's great to have the chance to play them on the emu and see what could have been - which is that unless you were unemployed and had nothing better to do, or was in the right place at the right time, they would never be worth the time you needed to put in, other than not to lose your wage packet. But still... Thank you Alex!
  6. I I remember the first time I got drunk to the point of throwing up. We were over at my mates and his mum and dad was out - I guess we were about 13 max. My mate poured a bit out of every bottle, in the extensive drinks cabinet and it all went in to a 2 litre bottle. With advocat and baileys in the mix it was a curdled mess. Didn't end well! I must try some advocat with Kraken at Christmas!
  7. Got properly shafted by a bank of these in Leeds in an arcade in the late 90's. Ended up spending the money I had taken for the night out. I was only late teens but still - what a loser! Thank Christ for Fruit Emu! Thanks Vecs, I'll pretend my night out in the city depends on it as I play, lol.
  8. Cheers Vecs, Looks great, sounds great and has already given me diarrhoea ! Cheers Rick

    Cash Arena (ACE)

I remember this, I'd be about 12 when this was in our local arcade. Thank you for this!

    Castle - Cashbolt

Awesome, one I've never seen before. Let's give it a go. Thanks you.
  11. 500, WOW - WELL DONE!!! I had forgotten this cabinet existed. It didn't last long - I bet the buttons got sticky easily after a bit of a spilled pint and that's maybe why. Off to give it a go. Thanks Vecs.
  12. An absolutely fantastic work of art. Thank you for this!
  13. I'm loving this! How do I use hidden features on the barcode - anyone?
  14. I'd forgotten how a classic can be better if you don't 'know' the machine. As amazing as the DX's are nowadays, it's still hard to read some features for instance if its a really busy/detailed machine. Thank you for this!
  15. Cheers for this! Hope you had a good Birthday last week.
  16. Yeah, the skill shot might have been quicker when it wasn't feeling so generous, but at least it was still skill.
  17. Thanks Vecs, Was this a rip-off of BFM's first low- medium tech machines? I never saw this one, just many of the Bell Fruit Scorpion 2 models, including a couple I owned as an older teenager. They had such a sexy cabinet compared to the rest of this era. Maybe the cab wouldn't have looked so sexy if I was getting any...
  18. Thanks for this, 4 machines are noisy together, just like Cleethorpes 2 Quid off the top feature though would be soul crushing in real life. Cheers

    Downtown £10

Love this, thanks Woodsy. Reminds me of two old favourites - Round the town and Dels Millions. And it has the birdy song, what more could you ask for?
  20. Thanks Vecs, And thanks to our scaly friend for the detailed insight into the machine. Now to give it a good play!

    Ace - Pay Rise

Thank you for this classic. Spent a few hours on this now, playing both jackpots on the emptier. Forgot how evil the high low was. Cheers

    Caesers Palace £15 DX

No, I know what you mean, but I seem to remember the reel bounces were an exciting feature of Tony's JPEmu as the 'bounce' was common on many JPM machines - along with very noisy stepper motors. It must be this PC, as I get it on just the odd layout. See the attached vid - the reels just don't spin as they should. It's a good spec PC, albeit 4 years old now and running on the i7 Intel graphics. Is there a setting/fix for this, does anyone know? Btw, this version is bloody evil! I know why Woodsy created it - its like one of his fuckin' Red machines. No offense Woodsy screen-capture.zip

    Caesers Palace £15 DX

Thanks for this. Reminds me of when I regularly played it in a local night club. Back then it was common for lights not to work, especially on buttons where bashing them broke the fragile coils. Is it just me or are the reels a bit clunky?
