  1. I like playing them in vertical mode, on my surface pro, when on the move, but must say, that keyboard/mouse is still the best for me.
  2. Mine spins as fast as Reg, if it helps, my PC Specs bought Oct 2015, so 4 years ago, are I7- 5820k @ 3.30 Ghz , 16gb Ram, GTX 980ti. MFME is installed on a separate SSD from my windows installation, but there are other files on the drive as well. It's an old style SSD, not the newer M2 motherboard type. If it matters my operating system is installed on an M2 SSD.
  3. Useful info, but what exactly is/was the rotary switch?
  4. I just love seeing people's old arcade haunts. I did a thread on mine around London and degsy did a video of his IOM ones (well it was about the death of fruitys) be good to see others doing similar.

Word Up. A Maygay machine, on Epoch tech, set on 25p play £10 Jackpot at 84%. THIS LAYOUT IS MUTE. No pictures available, so it is made from a guess of how the machine layout may look. KEYS: '=Cancel, 1=Hold 1, 2=Hold 2/Hi, 3=Hold 3/Lo, C=Collect, E=Exchange, Space=Start, P=Take Cashpot, 0=Insert £1. Thanks to Wizard for MFME, thanks to the rom provider, thanks to the reel symbol provider (uses slightly modified Homers Meltdown reels).
  9. NO. No, but just a polite reminder about how and when, as I do agree flooding pictures can make viewing threads awkward in particular and pictures need to be organised or they just become a mass of irrelevance. Agree, it is the best place to upload them to and I think someone like Infection is someone who is a valuable member of the database, as he never seems to flag from uploading pictures. Alternatively as suggested, Infection downloads and stores them on his laptop/pc to help when the time comes.
  10. Ok, thanks for looking and replying. The machine seems to have a different but simple mechanic to it, so it's doable without images. I'll probably make it a WIP, but although I'm not deeply religious, some of the messages on the alpha during attract mode and gameplay are a bit distasteful IMO.
  11. It's an Epoch machine by Impulse Gaming, I have a possible WIP for this. I have the program roms, but no sound. Are sound roms available ? Is there an image of this machine available ?

A Maygay machine on £15 Jackpot 30p Play 82% This layout is mute. Didn't want to spend huge amounts of time on this one, because of the lack of sounds and high res images to work with. But it's functional and works, so if resources do turn up, a DX hopefully can be made quicker. It uses the reel symbols from Homers Meltdown, I did the boxes around some of the symbols and tried to make the white boxes a bit thicker so they can be seen better. KEYS: £1 = 0 Cancel = `, Holds 1 = 1, Hold 2/hi = 2, Hold 3/Lo = 3 Collect = C, Exchange = E, Start = Space, Bonus = B, Nudges = N, Cash = H, Features = F Thanks to Wizard for MFME, The rom provider, The Homers Meltdown reel provider, Innfection for images used.
  18. Mine came from my love for my footy team Manchester City. It's a name I used on the internet and for email before FME. When FME started we had just come out of our really dark days of the 3rd tier. Thought about changing it a few times through the years, to have a fresh start in FME, but never have and not likely to now either.
  19. You probably have downloaded the maximum non donators can for the day/week/month. http://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/topic/3228-download-restrictions-you-decide/
  20. Is anyone working on this, before I start a classic layout? It's quite a bit of work, so don't want to waste my time, or step on anyone's toes. I don't mind working on a classic, if someone is going to DX it later and a classic would help.

Here's a classic layout for Sinbad, a machine for years that has been amongst my most wanted unemulated. It will only work with V19 as no previous emulated support it. Thanks goes to everyone involved in FME from Wizard, right down to the tea boy. KEYS: Insert £1 = 0 Cancel/Collect = ` Hold1/Nudge = 1 Hold2/Nudge = 2 Hold3/Nudge = 3 Hi = H Low = L Feature Exchange = E Start = SPACE. It's a BWB machine from sometime in the mid 90's, that started on £6 Tokens and went up to a £10 all cash release. I've kept the classic simple as I have no real resource artwork, so I've tried to focus more on the original layout. It's mainly been created from this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cB2IRZ274-s&t=69s It's been great to finally be able to play this one again and to me, is one of the best BWB machines of the era, with some great/funny sounds and a few hidden surprises (watch out for the hi lamp flashing).
  23. I wouldn't know about such things, but think it most definitely is a good idea. I hope behind the scenes, anyone who has contacts with anyone in companies would alert you and others about any definite no goes, when it comes to layout releases. As for the AWP market being dead, well I still say go into any medium sized Weatherspoons and you'll still regularly see upto 4 or 5 AWPs still present.
  24. Thought about posing this over the past few days and think it's worth saying. I don't wish to put a downer on things and perhaps it's just me, but personally I don't think enough work is done to justify calling a layout that was released at £70 but now also able to run at £100, a new layout. I think these layouts should have an additional upload to original download and not a whole new release thread etc... It's not like when someone does a 10p £5 variant of a layout, because that is basically a whole new machine, in most cases here it's one things changed, £70 becomes £100.
