Hi there I know this maybe a long shot but does anyone have any decent photos of this machine as it isn't on mfme and I'd like to see if I could see if I could have ago at doing a layout myself

Here's a old video screen shot of the machine

Thankyou!

Must admit when I first saw these photos I assumed they were rebuild kits by someone like Diamond Games / ITL or similar - the art for Crazy Bar reminds me of Teddy Bars, and the bottom game the reel symbols for Crazy Cash don't match the art (the 7s in particular).

But the bottom glass on Crazy Cash is definitely Project Coin branded. Very odd!

Assuming we have ROMs, a redraw would be the best bet, unless there are still machines sited somewhere?

Happy non-gambler since 1st January 2025!
(if anyone else needs or wants to quit, I recommend Allen Carr's 'Easyway to Stop Gambling'.
Still happy to dump ROMs for people and that sort of stuff :)

Here's a classic I did about 12 years ago on an older version of mfme - it works but might need a few tweaks to get the reel lamps working correctly on mfme 20.01 - I've included some images with the layout that I used when I made it - good luck, and hope it helps :)

Hiya @captainhaddock :)  Thanks for those high res images!  ...I'm just wondering, as I've seen your name on a lot of layouts over my years of tinkering with FME projects involving the layout collection... do you have a collection of images in decent quality like the ones above, for other machines?

The reason I'm asking, is that if so, I'm wondering if I could be cheeky, and perhaps ask if those could be shared onto the 'Community Drive'.  It's a public google drive (so anyone can view/download the files to work on new high res layouts) I have setup, and given various scene members admin access to:

[ Community Drive ] The drive: http://tinyurl.com/yckze665
(link above copied from my forum signature)

We've generally been putting high quality art assets on there, for future layout resources (I may revise that at some point, so each machine also has a 'low quality' subfolder, since sometimes some useful information can be gleaned from having more photos even if blurry etc).

No worries if not, but I thought I'd best check! :)  If you do, me or one of the other drive admins can put them in the relevant folders in the 'Archive' area... or also, I'd be happy to add you to the list of Admins, so then you have full write access (we can sort that out over DM), if you'd prefer that.

Thanks for your many layouts over the years :)

Hi - the images were from an old sd card I had in an old camera, seeing the request reminded me of playing this machine and other teddys branded machines and taking a few pictures, they were sited in teddys amusement arcades who later was known as cashino, I don't have much else as far as new images to offer, but I will still look around - nice set of resources I can see on your drive, thanks :)

Thanks for having a look, much appreciated! :)

I set up this mini-side project, as there were a few folks who had high res (much higher than the MFME Layout) resources just locally on their home drives, and these machines are only getting rarer to see in order to take a photos of, so those high res photos are a super valuable resource for future layouts :)

I'd be happy to but I would need slightly better images, plus I don't appear to have the sound rom for Crazy Cash.

Yeah that was on the image so I left it there on purpose.  Thought it was a nice touch.

One of them £50 draws they do that only the “regulars “ win also a sticker for lucky machine 9 there too. Love the realism, a bit like @spas fag lighter I left on hurricane and the loose change on in the trays of some machines

Thankyou for this layout. Odd it does t use many lamps especially on the win plans and top logo although projects were mostly flo tubes

put the layout on the main release via your site aswell

Yeah this was back when they was in teddy's amusements if people remember the theme "teddy's is the place to be" then on your birthday got £10 free plays!

Now murker crappy cashino 99% digital may get bullion bars wow cab and odd magic 10 or bar x diamond that's about it and some multiplayer betcom.

Back when it was quicksilver they housed some of these crazybar and some other projects when you used to get a fair game not no more £100 quid last 10 minutes and that's it

I remember getting home and checking the photos and spotted the ticket on the machine and wished that I had removed it - the ticket gave you a chance of playing a bonus game of strike it lucky or play your cards right on a monitor in the arcade, top prize was about £10 in free plays  :)
