Does anyone know what emu front end it uses?

That’s cheap with everything set up, it can take massive amount of time to get everything configured, might get one of these just for the emulator setup ;)

So the challenge is, to beat 105USD with 50,000 games and wireless controllers.

Just checked, and it's under 80 squid with free postage to the UK (takes weeks) just remember to add the coupons offered!

Check out the link I posted earlier, and see if you can beat it with other sellers.

I bought a 128gb 41000 games version on eBay last month paid £80 with two wireless controllers. Not really played about with it yet the controllers feel cheap. This is my first console like this and didn’t think much of it so far, could just be me expecting a bit more.Don’t know much about the technology but think it runs on something called Emulec and a lot of the games run on is it retroarch if that makes sense to anyone.

I had a Pi4 with a 512gb card fully loaded with 10's of thousands, it looks awesome and great to have that amount. But I fell into the trap of having shitloads and playing nothing, I'd just flick through all the pretty menus.

I now have a 16gb card in the Pi with just the collection I want and find that I actually play them now.

Did the same with my Pi4 arcade cab, cut it down to just a few hundred games. It was just too overwhelming. I used to fall into the same trap with modded consoles, once you could access everything you stopped focusing on the games you loved and had actually invested in and they became more of a 'tinkering' device rather than someone to actually play games through to completion on.

As for the original device mentioned in this thread, it's interesting but I've tended to stick to Pi simply due to the amount of people supporting it. Does sound like a decent enough device though, and the price looks reasonable for the hardware.

Decal collection photography got sidetracked during my month without internet - will get caught up on it soon! :)

  • 3 months later...

Well after waiting over 3 months for my consol off Ebay, I ended up with a refund. The seller sent my consol to the wrong country, and kept promising to resend it, but never did.

Now after 8 days, I ended up getting my consol off shopee for 60 quid inc shipping! (256g+ 2 Wireless controllers, TV remote and a free usb hub)

If anyone is interested in the contents of the SD card, here it is:

There are 3 partitions. First partition is not a recognised file format, so is probabley the OS.
