  1. Switching gears back to work on reel lamps/Leds and process optimisation... here is a somewhat hacked together test with bugs, but I've recorded a bit where it's working... so these are the basic reel lamps running in play mode. They now read Led values from the data layout, and so can go red via rom control

Captain Cash By Pootis Spencer ****************************** This is a first for me creating a layout from scratch without any help from a classic layout. I went solo on this one! Captain Cash by QPS Tech: Scorpion 4 Jackpot: £15 Pence Per Play: 25p Percentage: 88% Test Mode ********* Tick S Door then click Test Shortcut Keys ************* CANCEL - ` HOLD 1 - 1 HOLD 2 - 2 HOLD 3 - 3 COLLECT - C EXCHANGE - E START - SPACE TAKE NUDGES - N TAKE KNOCKOUTS - K TAKE FEATURE - F TAKE CASH - T COIN IN £1 - 0 or NUM 0 COIN IN 50p - 9 or NUM 9 So why a double release? ************************ There are 2 folders in the zip file. Early Version ROM and Later Version ROM. There were numerous rom versions available for this machine and I was curious as to the differences between them all. Some of the later versions played differently when you were on the board, so I have given the option of both here because we all like choice don't we! The Early Version ROM does not allow you to choose Hi/Lo after each number spin on the board. It also doesn't allow you to continue after choosing the nudges you have so far. It just automatically nudges in the nearest win for you. The Later Version ROM allows you choose Hi/Lo after most number spins allowing you to add extra into the pots. You can either choose Hi or Lo or carry on around the board. It also allows you to take for e.g the nudges or knockouts you have so far and use them then carry on around the board as usual. There may be other differences as well which I have not listed, but those are the main ones that stand out that makes the gameplay a little different. Thanks goes to the following: ***************************** @Player - For the supply of the hi res artwork @vectra666 - Help with blended lamps and testing None of this would be possible without MFME from @Wizard. May he continue to rest in peace... All the best and enjoy the layout!

  9. Anyone got the link to the spreadsheet? Just played Indiana Jones for over an hour. Got it down to about 10% payout. A token win is not possible. Even on leap of faith it disables the cancel as if there's no tokens in it. I've been to the end of ther trail at least 20 times, one bullet, dead. Oh, and it curiously pays wins in 20p's?? Token dipswitch not right? @Chopaholic@serene02You two must have played it - any ideas? Thanks.

Time to go back to the Stone Age with this prehistoric themed slot, Cave Man Cash Thanks goto- Infection for the images used including the cave man icon and jackpot symbol cut from another image Fruitsnappa for the Roms obtained (also got the club version for future emulation ) One minor error!, the coin slot lamp doesn't appear to stay lit, i know in the past wizard has said "tick the lockout tab" but in doing this only one coin can be added and adding more drops to the tray, also light goes back out?? Apart from that it appears all good, and afak the "yellow" features are all lamped correctly, if not let me know via this topic Play this in MFME V20.1+ Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!

  13. Any arcade cab is a good arcade cab! But the Goliath was a bit special I remember being a little entranced by the trippy side art pattern as a kid - heck I was like 7-8 when I started frequenting the arcades, it was all just complete magic to me going down there! If only room and £ wasn't an issue, then it'd be about getting a stand up Outrun, and wiring your steering wheel and pedals into that...
