    MFME5.1

Erm from the download section: https://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/files/category/71-legacy-releases/
  2. Although interesting, surely it's a moot point because it's impossible to see what's behind the mirror? It's not a mechanism to block it, it's just that the mirror is printed onto the glass, so you can only see through it when the value is lit.
  3. Have a look in the tips.txt file, it mentions all the Shortcuts. Shift F12 is what you want in this case.
  4. Erm he has a 24v hopper lol It also needs a relay to drive it otherwise you run the risk of blowing up the pac drive. Here are the power specs:
  5. That works a lot better than I thought it would. Why did you keep having to do a DB scan on start up ?
  6. Would have been nice to see a game being played, I'm interested to see how fast it plays.
  7. Wine is no use to me tbh, I don't drink the stuff lol

    Dx layouts

They can only be taken on if decent resources exist.
  9. No idea tbh, You are just as capable as me at trying different DIP settings lol
  10. Ah it seems if you play on the lower stakes, it can sometimes offer a Deal Or No Deal exchange on a win. Strange with the Nudges though as there doesn't appear to be any Nudge lamps.
  11. Thanks for this. Why does this machine have hold/nudge buttons when there are no nudges? Also when does the Deal Or No Deal button light up?
  12. I use a pair of Universal hoppers in my cabinet and those have a "logic level" signal to turn on the motors so will work with PacDrive without additional circuitry. If you have to drive the motor directly, then you'll need to add a relay or PNP transistor to handle the current because the Pac Drive has a max drive of 500mA and these hoppers can take 3A when starting up. The other necessity is that the Hopper provides a lo level output for the coin output to be compatible with an IPAC Also don't get anything with a serial interface as they won't work with MFME, it has to have a parallel interface. I have no experience with the cheapo ones on Ali tbh
  13. You cannot reflash the Pacdrive AFAIK But I will say stick with the Pacdrives as the other boards from Ultimarc are totally useless for MFME cabinets as they just don't work quickly enough. Another issue is that each 8 bit port needs it's own message to drive, you cannot update all the ports with one USB message like you can with the Pacdrive. I now remember why I designed and built my own USB interface.
  14. The latest version of MFME ( currently v19.8 ) already has this feature.
  15. To get rid of the hissing type noise on this, change the Sound config to Sample Only
  16. All depends on the speed of the CPU the tech uses. Scorpion 5 uses a 40Mhz CPU whereas MPU4 uses a 1.796Mhz one so it has a lot more work to do. MPU5 and Epoch use a 16Mhz CPU, so the S5 is running just over twice the speed of even those two. Laptops will always struggle unless you have a newer i5 or i7 based one.
  17. Thanks for the mention! @Chopaholic
  18. I would need to check, I do have a Ultimate board somewhere.
  19. MFME currently doesn't support the Ultimarc Ultimate IO or PACLed64 boards for Lamp output only the PAC drive
  20. Well we won't be matching Captain Tom
  21. Well what can I say? I'm totally lost for words here. This was totally unexpected tbh and I'd like to thank @reg for the generous offer. To all that have already donated I am truly thankful, means a lot guys. Stay safe everybody ( STAY INDOORS! ) Chris
  22. Yes it would do as it's a 3 player game, that's what it's supposed to do. If you are manually loading a player, make sure you start another MFME instance to load it. If you load it with the current one it thinks it's a new game and will shutdown all the existing ones. If your 3rd player isn't showing, perhaps it's positioned off screen? Bring up the task manager and check how MFME's are running, there should be 4 You can move the windows by holding down Shift and Left clicking in one of them and then dragging, all the linked windows should then move together.
