  1. Be aware if you Ram Clear newer machines, especially Scorp 4 & 5 machines you will have to set the Note Acceptor / Hoppers and Maybe Coin input up again which can be tricky if you don't know what you are doing.
  2. Wow, BBC basic has moved on a bit from my School days.
  3. This project is looking really good and sounds very promising. I personally will wait until the first non Dev release comes along as i am pretty useless at PC related things but am really looking forward to the first release. Thank you for all the time and effort you are putting into it, it is very much appreciated, i am sure. Ps, we have the acronym MFME for the emulator, for your Arcade Simulator, will it be known as ArSi ? Haha.
  4. Probably the likes of Eastenders, Donkey Kong, Knockout etc will be the earliest I can still remember. BWB Volcano but that was a bit later maybe.
  5. You may have to be a donator to access the legacy section. I cannot remember or didn't know in the first place.
  6. Have you been to the newbies help area and read through the topics there? Maybe start here and see if you find any answers.
  7. Some / many are governed by the rom sets, they don't have switchable jackpots so, they are as they are. It is trial and error. You may find a lot of answers in the Topics in the Newbies area and / or use the search function as a lot has been covered before.
  8. Unfortunately that is one of the main reasons I gave up on real machines and repairs. I would do anything for pretty much anyone and help them out where I could from board repairs, helping with software and even sending spare parts at my own cost. Now don't get me wrong, there are some great people in the fruit machine collectors community that would do the exact same, will help as much as possible. The problem is these people are a very small percentage of the community. The remainder are those you help out and when you need their help with a spare etc they have it but it is mysteriously buried at the back of the garage under every other possession they have and will take some time to dig out. Fair enough. A few weeks pass by so I ask again but the person had been at work 20 hours a day, 7 days a week. Bear in mind said people such as this have had as much help and support when they need it to get their own machines running which they have all the time in the world to work on. Another week or so goes by and a PM arrives, sorry but the part I thought I had for you has been eaten by the dog etc etc etc. I am sure many of you know the type of people I have mentioned and have heard similar stories to this. Anyway, that is why I pretty much quit real machines and found another hobby to spend time on, oh and a little on Mfme. Happened way too often and sure enough in the end, it grinds you down. You see examples everywhere unfortunately and it makes you get the same way too, it really does.
  9. @Reg should be able to help when he is online....
  10. No, the pop ups cannot be disabled or removed.

Maygay - Club Tutankhamun - 25p - £250 - Epoch I wasn't going to release this initially as Club machines are not my thing and i also didn't think the Cashpot and Reserve pot increased at all but they did.... slowly, very slowly. HUGE thanks and appreciation go to @Reg for the usual playtesting and the time he put in to build the Cashpot and Reserve to maximum. Reel bands have been re-created and are not original. Enjoy, it was a pain and long winded to create.

An older machine & layout created a while back. Thanks @Reg for testing & the MFME font. Enjoy.
  13. @johnparker007 , thank you for the reply and explanation, much appreciated. I certainly hope that you reach your goal and can implement MFME as a bolt on withinn your project as at this stage it looks very impressive.
  14. The issue of keeping Mfme up and running especially with further Windows updates is the most concerning thing to me regarding the future of our hobby.

Barcrest - Weird Wolf - 30p - £25 - Mpu5 Thanks to @Reg for Playtesting. This machine should be good to go although there wasn't much to go by to create the layout. Possible failed test machine, it also has quite a few lamping glitches, more noticeable in attract mode. Enjoy.
  16. I have a classic of Weird Wolf which is probably a failed clone of another machine. Will tart it up and release over the weekend for testing, time permitting.
  17. That would be appreciated. Thank you.

  24. Thank you for this, just re-iterates what a top guy has gone forever. Not just in our emulation scene but in "Real Life" also.
  25. No one if they have any sense! If they don't they may as well give their money to that guy from Nigeria who cold calls asking about your recent motoring accident! It is as good as.
