  1. Love it. Wish I had a higher resolution screen to play it on!!!
  2. Who's work is it? I'd love the DX though please
  3. Nice game but why not release the DX version as well or wait for a week then release it? Join the big happy family
  4. Love it!!! That looks fantastic! I didn't realise you'd released it until now. Well done you
  5. Many thanks for this, I love the quality of your releases and this is no exception to excellentness (if that's a word and if not, I'm making it one lol).
  6. Well said... I love pumping £100 into a machine and winning the £500 jackpot on it without losing or winning any money
  7. I couldn't agree more. I'm extremely well discliplined with stopping myself if I spend a certain amount (occasionally I have spent say a fiver more than I wanted to) and have learned a lot from these emulators, not only how to play the games in the arcades, but how they work etc. I remember many years ago, I played on Trivial Pursuit (5p version) in Meadowhall Namco Arcade thingy and hadn't a clue what it was. I managed to find the game and played it on the emulator and realised what was what, so said to my mate "shall we go halves and put a pound in each?" (which we usually did) but this time he declined. I put my quid in and won the jackpot and a little bit extra so came away with £8. I said "bet you wish you'd had a go now don't you?" he said "I'm not bothered mate!" which I thought "yeah alright. I was so impressed all those years ago when I could play the machines and didn't really appreciate who actually created them until I looked at doing some myself and have contacted @Wizard many times to offer suggestions and explain little problems I found with the emulator and tested the fixes (when I could) and report back to him whether they worked or not. I was really shocked when I found he had passed away as I feel that we were all part of a big, happy family and think that we still are. It's odd knowing that he won't be there to offer help or reply to any suggestions etc. and I think that the best thing we can do for his memory is keep the fruit machines updated and DX's and PDX's released with continual gratitude notifications to him in the releases, like we do.
  8. Thank you @Big J, your kind words are very much appreciated. I wanted to do something different and am still experimenting with layouts etc and learning all the time What I value most though is your honesty and time you took to comment
  9. Ah okay, I didn't know that! I thought they all stopped you gambling above the maximum number. Thanks for the info @ace5k
  10. Hi @Clo06, I just downloaded it and tried it again but it still gave option of going higher than 12... I went higher than a 12 and a 10 came up and it lost so it's as though it's an 11 now?
  11. Thank you, it is confusing the different ways to access it!!
  12. Version 1.0.0

    85 downloads

Firstly, Wizard is still missed and cherished by the use of his awesome emulator, that goes without saying and I feel it should be the first thing on everyone's "About" when releasing the first time after his sad release from this life. Secondly, I just wanted to advise that I had seeked and obtained permission to release this soon after the original classic layout was released but out of respect for everyone involved with the classic layout, I decided to give it a while before I released this PDX layout Finally, info and stuff as always: Thanks to @andy-1 for the classic layout and providing me with the unlocked version I have been updating my Mame Roms recently and whilst it's almost finished, I wanted to do a layout that was quite easy to do and not take up too much time as some previous ones have. Normally when I get into something, I get bored quite quickly and go onto something else but doing PDX's is great as it gives me a chance to experiment with different things and allows my imagination to run away a little, while staying in the parameters of what should be done, as it's still a fruit machine at the end of the day. I wanted to do a touchscreen type machine and then realised that it needed buttons, so I found an image of a red button that was angled (normal flat buttons didn't look right on the machine) so I used GIMP to change the colours and add writing to them. I have provided a Mute version (Thanks to @andy-1 for his help with this, I knew how to add the sounds (I'd done this with Volcano) but not worked out how to actually remove them to make it Mute) and a sound version that used his previous Pink Panther sounds. I didn't experience any issues whatsoever when I was creating the layout, despite it being unmuted (if that's a word). Anyhow, apologies for my waffle here, I hope that you're all very well and hope you enjoy my PDX
  13. With regards to number 12, it gives you the option to go higher or lower, I've just noticed. If it appears on the gamble as Odd, it does give a lose, so it's got to be 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10....
  14. Thanks for this @Clo06. I went higher than a 1, got a 3 and it said lose, so I wonder whether some of the numbers are incorrect, similar to @ace5k experience.
  15. I tried to see if I could find the lamp test mode and couldn't find it. Very odd. Thanks for your reply
  16. Thank you for this release. Does it have a guaranteed win Hi/Lo colour on the machine?
  17. In addition to my review, I was playing it and thought I'd go for the Cash or Crashed as I just lost the extra life and it was on the Mystery thing so it went all over the place and then landed on the £100 jackpot!!!!!
Fantastic graphics as always and I love this game! Not played it before but been on it for ages!!!
  18. I thought I'll have a quick go on it..... 20 minutes later I think, what a tight machine lol. Seriously, the quality is fantastic and I appreciate your effort. I wish I could win lots on it
  19. Not normally a fan of these but I really like this one. The bonus game is cool. I played on it for a while and got about £140 back for a stake of around £70. If only this happened in real life..... (I'd never bet £70 on a machine lol)
  20. Love it! The noises it makes when you collect money, the "oh yeah" it says and "wicked" when you get into the game make this a very enjoyable game! Thanks for it
  21. Thanks for this @vectra666. I thought it might have played a tune or something when I got the £4.80 win but it didn't. Nice game nonetheless
Never played this before but just had a go and OMG this is brilliant. The effort that's clearly gone into this deserves 5 stars for definite!
  22. Never played this before but what a nice, enjoyable game! Many thanks for this
