  1. Version 1.0.0

My first attempt to update some older Dutch layouts. New version of the Dutch Super Reel JPM 1987. Made from the original flyer, so don't expect 4k graphics. Thanks to the original author and rom providers ( don't know who unfortunately) and Wizard (RIP) for his great software MFME.

A battle Against good n evil takes you on an adventure to outer space in this cosmic themed slot from Qps whether this machine was out in the real world or a failed test machine who knows, there's a few examples of this within the art itself 1. the flyer was originally £15 jackpot, yet the roms wouldn't go down to that level, so changed accordingly.. 2. it was supposed to be multi stake/3 lines as the original flyer shown, again the roms used doesn't do that option afaik so removed the change stake decal on the buttons but left the lamping in for them on the board Thanks goto @Playerfor the art used from his resources topic @Johnnyafc for the classic he designed ages back without the real art to go by Shortcuts listed within the notes, play in mfme v20.1 Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!!

  4. I'd given up playing machines in the wild by the time this one was released, but an interesting thing I've noticed is that this machine uses at least one royalty free sound sample from the Dance Ejay range of dance music production software. (as I used the same sample in one of my tracks from about 20 years ago... ) Noticed this on one other emulated machine but can't remember which one now, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was from the same manufacturer...

  5. Initially when I first saw this I thought errrr.... then I saw the extra reel and thought ooooo...... I started playing and thought reel 1 (bonus) is number 4 and the next are 1, 2 and 3..... Okay... (brain slightly smoking at this point) then I started to play the game and thought what's what here then on the feature..... After many very enjoyable minutes of playing it, I realised what was what and love it Many thanks for another excellent Classic layout @Clo06 !!!!! Dare I say a DX would be awesome for it? No because the classic is brilliant so a DX would be nice but not necessary (I'm already doing 2 at the moment that I've not done anything for a couple of days as I tried installing something on my laptop from the MSI website and things aren't working as they should).... oh well..... be reyt lol.

  6. I assume as my post on the introductions page has gone that I can now post on here? Anyway, my name is Pete, I'm pushing 50 and I'm a nostalgia addict. Cassettes, ZX Spectrum, Vinyl, 80s music, 8 bit games, old arcade games and especially the older fruit machines. The sounds, the lights, the features, I love them, especially the following which I have been looking for the machines themselves for quite some time: Rat Race, Top Take (aka Top The Lot), Smash and grab, Supaslots, Tuppeny Fair, Fortune Numbers, Spot a light, Line up/Exchanges Unlimited. So many great memories, and some rubbish ones (spending all my money on them!) Anyway, hello everyone...

  10. Nice lo-tech game and inventive presentation. Is it supposed to go into an almost endless loop of the double XXX win lines bumping down and then back up again in repeat until it spits out well over 100 simulated bucks or did I just encounter the biggest winning streak known to mankind that makes me wish it was real cash coming out? Took almost 10 minutes until it stopped...

  12. Only thing I can work out would be maybe he wants a mirrored or pornographic ceiling? Brilliant work. Reminds me of when I used to mod the java game trial bike pro. You'd get a pic then make the track all green for the game to recognise it lol

  14. Hi Pete and welcome to the island. I hope you take a good look around especially the downloads section, there are plenty of the old classic machines in there, just look in the legacy section or the regular download section. If you need any help, just pop a post on the forum and someone should be around to help you. Enjoy our little home. Clo06.

  15. Ok sounds like I need to convert Rat Race and get a 3d model of a mobility scooter! Yep walking around is very much the plan, to get that first person perspective going on for the immersion And yes, I think the cat's out of the bag that my plan is to make this into a live arcade... so I'm thinking to make it so you can walk around and watch other people playing games on their machines (plus potential text/voice chat), as well as playing on machines yourself. When you choose to play a free machine, MFME will be launched in the background to run that machine. When you have finished playing on the machine, your server-based bankroll balance will update accordingly based on cash in/out. Then that will allow for daily/weekly/monthly tournaments etc which should be a lot of fun So as a part of that new work, I've taken a break from the Converter today, and started very basic work on the 'codec'. This will allow streaming of the machines lamps/reels/vfds across the net, as I should be able to write some efficient lossless compression. Currently I've just implemented the base recorder/player system, along with the recording/playing of 'simple' (on/off - no fade levels yet) lamps. This will be used for all the free machines to play their attract mode loops without needing to have an MFME instance running for each machine (as that would get impractical very quickly). Here's a demo of 44 machines running their attract mode lamps (at random playback start points to provide variation) via this new system (so I am running zero MFME instances here). These are not perfect loops, I just recorded a few minutes, later I should be able to write something to auto-identify the loops when recording the attract modes. Anyway, enough blurb from me - onto the eye candy (may be best to watch this direct on youtube rather than embedded in the forum, then you'll be able to see in full 1080p HD, as some of the lamps are now tiny!):
