  2. I've slept on this a bit and reviewed some recent releases. So - now - the only way you can get a release thread in this area is if you have the .FML Badge and you upload to the Download section as it automatically creates a thread here... https://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/forum/33-releases/ ...with regards to the quality of release, I am going to mail the member you are talking about and tell them to use the WIP section. When they manage to release a few that are error free first time, then they will get an .FML Badge.

  3. I'm my own worst enemy Reg, I want to get it as close as possible! Suffice to say I won't be spending this long on every layout, only a few special ones from my playing history. Plus being the first one there are lots of new things to sort out like backgrounds, cabinet dimensions and coming up with standards that I will work with and re-use for future layouts, work that takes longer now but won't need to be redone and will save time later. I'll keep chipping away

  4. It's a difficult situation, because it is clear by now, that it isn't just someone trying to deliberately be disruptive. So I think, that while they have a bit more moderation, those still willing to suggest and help them do so and those who just want to get annoyed about it, stay out of the threads concerned.

A battle Against good n evil takes you on an adventure to outer space in this cosmic themed slot from Qps whether this machine was out in the real world or a failed test machine who knows, there's a few examples of this within the art itself 1. the flyer was originally £15 jackpot, yet the roms wouldn't go down to that level, so changed accordingly.. 2. it was supposed to be multi stake/3 lines as the original flyer shown, again the roms used doesn't do that option afaik so removed the change stake decal on the buttons but left the lamping in for them on the board Thanks

My first attempt to update some older Dutch layouts. New version of the Dutch Super Reel JPM 1987. Made from the original flyer, so don't expect 4k graphics. Thanks to the original author and rom providers ( don't know who unfortunately) and Wizard (RIP) for his great software MFME.

They say every cloud has a silver lining except for this as Barcrest took action as they said it is a copy of their Cloud 999. 15. I too have tried to help said member , and yes they are improving but it’s like two steps forward three back look at club galloping jackpots massive improvement a few minor errors, but we all make those not perfect myself . Then comes along his last more problems and f ups the guy wants to be involved and I just wish he takes on board what’s being said to him and improve, as I know he’s got it in him to be a damn good designer whether it’s classic or dx as he’s made a few of those. He’s willing to learn but doesn’t take note of what’s being said. God I know it took me a while to ge

  16. Why would you do that? Unless you are using their work as a base (i.e. taking lamp numbers e.t.c.) there is no need, or you'd have to download all the legacy layouts and credit all of them every time you made a layout?! Many thanks for the layout, and nice to have the 50p option, should make it a little faster to play I'll confess I had to change the keyboard shortcuts so the 1st single symbol reel was 1, as my brain kept getting confused otherwise!!

  17. I'd given up playing machines in the wild by the time this one was released, but an interesting thing I've noticed is that this machine uses at least one royalty free sound sample from the Dance Ejay range of dance music production software. (as I used the same sample in one of my tracks from about 20 years ago... ) Noticed this on one other emulated machine but can't remember which one now, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was from the same manufacturer...

  18. However I think I'm safe in speaking to say soon, maybe a week or so the Legacy section should be getting a re-vamp. Fingers crossed all goes well.

  19. Whilst sorting out the lamping order on this i noticed this goes to £2 play on the lamp test, yet only upto £1 play in play mode, does anybody know if there’s a dip switch setting also uses leds for the top logo also the fists on the super board, the usual blue n red for streaks yet on the feature board there’s only one lamp assigned to each square so I take it it’s a standard whiteish colour and you get to choose the colour needed? @infection sorted the orange symbol now , nicked one of your lit images for it

  23. The work around you can do is this. Adjust the coin settings to what I have changed here. That allows only £1 entry at a time before the coin falls through. The game can then be played by just using the coin entry or the note entry. When you use notes, the transfer option does not lock the rom at beyond £5 as per below.

  26. Initially when I first saw this I thought errrr.... then I saw the extra reel and thought ooooo...... I started playing and thought reel 1 (bonus) is number 4 and the next are 1, 2 and 3..... Okay... (brain slightly smoking at this point) then I started to play the game and thought what's what here then on the feature..... After many very enjoyable minutes of playing it, I realised what was what and love it Many thanks for another excellent Classic layout @Clo06 !!!!! Dare I say a DX would be awesome for it? No because the classic is brilliant so a DX would be nice but not nece

  27. Very true anyways it’s upto the designer if they include previous designers of said layouts i included Johnny afc in My last effort even though I never used his layout as a base infact I’ve never downloaded that layout.

  31. Not wanting to turn this into a thread about that member, but to be fair loads of people tried to help. They were tagged in the releases as having helped, and yet the broken releases were uploaded anyway, causing drama as people were being tagged as having helped, despite the layouts being borderline - or as the case with one I can think of - actually unplayable.

  38. Nice lo-tech game and inventive presentation. Is it supposed to go into an almost endless loop of the double XXX win lines bumping down and then back up again in repeat until it spits out well over 100 simulated bucks or did I just encounter the biggest winning streak known to mankind that makes me wish it was real cash coming out? Took almost 10 minutes until it stopped...

  40. I imagine so. An early betcom, all pretty similar. It's a bit like QPS contracting Betcom out for some games. They'd still be badged as QPS but say copyright betcom or similar on the alpha or glass

  41. Only thing I can work out would be maybe he wants a mirrored or pornographic ceiling? Brilliant work. Reminds me of when I used to mod the java game trial bike pro. You'd get a pic then make the track all green for the game to recognise it lol

  42. Hi Pete and welcome to the island. I hope you take a good look around especially the downloads section, there are plenty of the old classic machines in there, just look in the legacy section or the regular download section. If you need any help, just pop a post on the forum and someone should be around to help you. Enjoy our little home. Clo06.

  44. Ok sounds like I need to convert Rat Race and get a 3d model of a mobility scooter! Yep walking around is very much the plan, to get that first person perspective going on for the immersion And yes, I think the cat's out of the bag that my plan is to make this into a live arcade... so I'm thinking to make it so you can walk around and watch other people playing games on their machines (plus potential text/voice chat), as well as playing on machines yourself. When you choose to play a free machine, MFME will be launched in the background to run that machine. When you have
