  7. Yeah this original Arcade Simulator is pretty much feature frozen as it is now, as I'm getting started on a suite of programs (Oasis) that will ultimately lead to the successor. Unfortunately the input system that was set up was a little basic, with no definable controls. However, some have had luck with running a program like Joy2Key, that allows mapping the inputs of your joystick to generate key presses. If you can get that set up, I believe the standard keys I set up were QAOP (Up/down/left/right) and Space/M/N/B for button 1/2/3/4. That is specifically for the video games. So if it's just the video games you want to control with the joystick, that might be a way...
  8. This machine is a kind of hybrid of Red Hot Roll and Nudge Nudge Wink Wink
  9. Ahh, I used to hog this machine in an arcade called "Talk of the town" in Herne Bay, somewhere around the very late 1990's to early 2000's. It was 2p play, possibly £5 jackpot. I just liked the fact I got 50 plays for a £ and had a high bar stool to sit on while playing it... - I loved it in that arcade! Thanks for the lovely collection of DX's, @vectra666!
  10. Sorry John, i asked in the wrong section. I have seen your answer in the other post you did some time ago , i will have to wait then ...... i really want to use my joystick,it's more authentic that way......
  11. Good luck! I hope you can get those italian sound roms.
  12. Hi John, It's looking better and better, thank you The only thing i have a problem with is mame. The joystick that i want to use is not working standard. So i wanted to use tab in Mame when running Defender but i cannot get in the Mame menu. Tried all keys on my keyboard but no luck, can you help me out ? Have you changed keys in mame? Thanx DJ

Aahway to go Lads!! of to the Pub but get err in doors some flowers, that'll keep her sweet!!! He may be down the pub loads but he still loves Flo in this similar cloned machine to red hot roll, maybe this came out first who knows. but it does have a few different features that makes it stand out compared to the latter like one nudge next, super hold, nudge wink for the win and more. Thanks goto @dad for his £6 dx and the other creator of the £10 mini version also to @dad for the flyer used and to @johnparker007 for the upscale Shortcuts are as standard, the "Heart" streak Feature = F I've uploaded Five separate files IF you only want a couple of versions download them if you want ALL the versions download the All in One File as that contains all five versions!!! Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!!
  16. Thank you - That was helpful indeed I managed to run the german Cup Final found on YouTube and it is exactly the same game I remember ! The italian version changed only for the localized graphics and the commentary. I should then manage to redo the layout and get the sound roms dumped from an ITA board... Hoping that the remaining roms are "universal" I will try to get in touch with some seller!
  17. Does anyone else miss the "snore" from this version compared to the first Andy Capp when he gets caught by Flo on the game? I used to love that bit
  18. When you say 'enter' the games room, do you mean you have a 3d environment, and when you walk through the door of your room containing the games, there is a pause? If so, then you'd want to use the Profiler tool, and you'll see a spike on the graph as you enter the room. You can then drill into it and see what functions are causing the pause/lag. Probably be loading some textures and/or instantiating some gameobjects... so you'll want to ensure you fully load/cache everything at level init.
  19. Hi Meolo With regards to emulating italian machines as long as the machine is running on one of the emulated techs then you should be able to create your own layouts using the tools provided, this is not my area so i cannot help much with this side, but there are many layout creators who i am sure lend you some support with your layout creations. But if once you have the roms from the machine you want to create, if you want to create the layout as a DX(looks like the real machine) you will need some good artwork photos ('if you are good with photoshop you may be able to use slightly less good artwork). you can then use the tools to make your layout. if the machine runs on a un-emulated tech then sadly as the creator has passed you will not be able to emulate the machine as there will be no further updates to the Emulator, hope this has helped you out a litte.
  20. Hi everyone and thanks for what you do! I recently landed here after watching a few videos on Youtube , I would really love to replay that gaming machines that attracted me so much in the local (Italian) arcades in the late 90s. Specifically : - “Cup final” (This version produced by “Nova” ?) - the provided layout / ROMS works perfectly fine with MFME 20.1 but the roms / commentary are in German. My dream is to emulate the Italian version (which i guess though has never been dumped, but never say never ) - “Magic Diamond” - I remember playing this a lot in the past, I found one for sale on eBay and wonder if it was known outside Italy and emulated already. - “Premium 21” - This was not a real fruit machine, but a game with a spinning number wheel, where you had to deal out numbers on 5 boxes in order to get 21 on each one (there were special gameplay mechanics whereby the ace was worth 1/11 "blackjack style" and placing 5 numbers in a box guaranteed a 21). this machine was also posted on ebay for sale - I wonder whether it was a “known” hardware or there is something emulated with similar gameplay. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me
