I use a 4K 55" screen in portrait mode. For most layouts on my cab (2500) I crop the sides and add extra height above the top of each layout. This puts the buttons to the bottom of my screen. I also change any blank above the background to black. I discovered yesterday that it's recent update now allows the reels to spin AND the lamp matrix to light up for the 1st time in emulation. I've been going down the hardcore route of playing the game and writing down on paper what lamp numbers correspond to certain positions on the board.... a very slow process... the goal is to find all or nearly all the lamps on the board and then to go to MFME to update the experimental Carry On layout to hopefully end up with a classic layout can then be made into a DX - I know @woodsywants to be the guy to DX this machine when the time comes. The Jackpot sequence came in handy to reveal the machine only uses the cluster of lamps within the 0 to 127 range. Also finally found what button Exchange is on! (Button 10) Maybe a bunch of us can collaborate together to speed up the discovery process.... unless these machines had a test mode which would help maybe --- answers on a postcard if anyone knows! here are a couple of very short videos i took of it in play... had to put them in a .Zip file as this site does'nt let me upload a MP4 format video which is what my phone saves videos as. I also enclose the layout with the albeit bodged looking reel symbols and please note that the buttons seems to muddle up so in this layout button 1 nudges reel 2, button 2 nudges reel 3 and button 3 nudges reel 1 so been a head fuck to use but i will change this when i get a moment... i have real life stuff to do too Also i am not very clued up on creating stuff in MFME.... i'm sure the reel bands are'nt meant to make the file size so damn big! I am curious, I think your web based emulator is able to load MFME layouts other than those saved in V20.1 - did you build an importer that caters for all the versions of MFME above v5? We have one in Oasis that works very well, but it is a load more work to support FMLs other than v20.1... wondering if you just put tons of work in to support all the different versions, or if there's something else going on with the layout loading... The best BGT machine was probably Flash The Cash Harry. It was a bit like Max A Million but it had a cashpot and a good method to make a profit. There was one in Skegness in the arcade away from the front all those years back. I think there was another in Ingoldmels in the big arcade on the right near the funfair. Yarmouth and Clacton had it too.
