  1. I know that @johnparker007, a worthy cause is a worthy cause, it wouldn't be the first time;) and anyone has a right to ask this (except the Author), Wine for Wizard, Amots Drink or the current one that Reg has done for Chris with the puss puss thing, through my eyes it is fitting just like your Arcade Simulator. It isn't your place to tin rattle as we both know that would be highly unethical but a suggestion by another member (wish this fucking fly would piss off buzzing round me like it wants to play MFME) off their own back is a different case scenario.

So pleased you manage to please both sides of the spectrum with your platform, was touch and go in the beginning but good coders from what I hear 99% of the time find a work around even if it is a pain in the arse.

On another note I haven't played your AS for a while as this lappy can just about hold together with MFME thanks to all the updates it has received but only just, so saving your software for the new system.

Hi.  Played a few layouts now and really enjoyed them.  Is there a way to reset a machine to factory settings, so that you know exactly how much has gone into it?  Thanks.

Think you have said that a little wrong, if you factory reset it all stats return to zero, or you can execute long term or current stats,

To factory reset (clear ram to 0)> Config then clear ram down the bottom,

For long term stats> File-Preferences-check long term meters (7th box).

    Hope that helps.

That's right - it appears like it would have been installed, but what it does is a fairly in depth search using clues from the registry etc to find MFME.exe.  Then copies that MFME.exe into the install folder.  If you click 3x in the very top left on the frontend menu, you'll see some debug output from MFMEExeCopier - so you can delete the MFME.exe, then on next startup it will find it again and reinstall it.

For further verification, here's the public ArcadeSim latest build folder on the DIF server:

No MFME.exe, and then I forage for it on the end users hard drive :)

Laugh reaction was my laughing my fanny off with that response, lovely how you just bypass things so you ain't disrespecting anyone, you wouldn't of come this far if it was going to be a stopblock, unless of course I have missed something!

Just wondered if you was to of been able to use MFME would it of made the job quicker/easier?

Cheers for the link and wonder if it is a good idea for you to pin it to your signature so it is easier to find in future? One good turn and all!

Would love to see my cloud 999 layout that looks awesome with its dimming in n out lampage also some early 90’s slots like cash explosion

although not actually tried this arcade thingy doing my laptop will take it probs blow up and we can’t have that lol

keep shoving them dond and clones in love it when you piss @Zippy off he gets sooooo tetchy rofl

Your getting shite on for that Vecs, me tetchy hahaha never, I hardly say anything on these forums, quiet as a mouse me😉

The AS is crazy mate you gotta try it, my lappy is on the blink too but still working on the whole gaming PC set up and a little team are giving me lots of brilliant advice as it is their game tbh. Imagine a row of Cloud 999s, Blue Moons, Cash Counters and all that other wonderful stuff **oops missed the other 100s of other Dx's** lined up and from what I see you'll be able to cram shiteloads in.

If you really want honesty I log in everyday and keep checking what else @johnparker007 has done as don't want to miss any of it.

  5. No @serene02 he is doing Donds to punish me, I know he has been reading my posts/threads and says to himself "Let's piss that old tosspit Zippy off cause he hates Edmonds mug".

Just seen your current post and you should have a bit of r+r and play some oldies, me personally gives focus especially on creating a layout. Could also give a new perspective and other fresh ideas. Believe I want your platform finished as much as you but looking into the future you still will have coding and updates to perform. Mame/MFME is kind of the same ball park as it is a constant loop of progression.

  6. Fucking Dond @johnparker007, we really are going to fall out or you just don't want me on AS lmfao.

Mate you do whatever you think is best as you are the dealer, I ain't going anywhere and know they will all be done at some point down the line, that is inevitable looking how far this has come from just doing the upscaling stuff you were on originally.

There are several I don't like which you have integrated into your platform but still it is nice to look at 3D wise (shhh don't tell anyone).

Yes, planning to eventually pull in as many layouts as layout artist permission is available for :)  The order they come through in is going to be pretty random, expect a lot of machines in Eclipse (plus some old Barcrest / some JPM Vogue) cabinets on the way initially as that's what I have made the 3d models of so far.

You don't want to bother about those crappy 100 quid machines, awp lo tech has the biggest playability factor, saying that I am not at the helm.

Still enjoying the progress mate and don't forget those breaks;)

  8. You know forewell that my last post was utter bullshit but if I was to be honest I have broken buttons and cracked a few screens myself in anger all over what... a few bloody quid. When I look back on it now I don't just laff but think what a fucking twat!!

  10. Thank you @dondplayer and @Retrofruit you have made up my mind, it is not a hard emptier as can always go for the red bars off stop n match but to maximise and play it to its fullest it can be emptied in half the time with the Unlimited Nudges set ups, also if you needed say 4 nudges for 3 Galaxy's it will let you nudge all three in without it stopping on two and giving you a quid, the main thing to remember on this is symbols overide the Galaxy symbols so if you stopped it on the Bell with the Galaxy on the middle reel with the feature when it steps down it will match another bell first rather than a Galaxy unless there is already a Galaxy that has matched the first step down on reels one and three. It sounds difficult but once you get the hang of it you will love it.

The final piece of the puzzle is the fixed roms on £6 where the middle reel spins fast, I would love to get my hands on those as is still an emptier but is much more complex, once it is buzzed up enough it will slow the reels down a fair few times for a possible win or three Galaxy's on the winline.

  11. Have come up with a brainwave @Retrofruit so be honest and tell me if it is a good idea or not but when Galaxy is re-done I'm thinking of doing a separate video in test mode for all possible set ups, what do you think or should I just do it Au Naturel?

I use to know the all set ups back to front across the board but getting older means that the memory goes on the blink, then MFME gets opened I get that proverbial jolt that puts it back into perspective.

Please re-upload the one you did that you wanted me to watch as I didn't get a chance before you removed it.

I'm going to, promise you mate, regret I deleted it but actually when I really think about it I'm glad I did as there are a few more unseen set ups to for the unlimited.

  13. I'll be honest, I was pissed off momentarily, acted on impulse and threw my proverbial toys out the pram I'll be man enough to admit it so moving on time now. Going to redo these vids especially Galaxy as there are other set ups that need voicing on the unlimited nudges side when there are set single bars on reels one and three to give the £1.20 gamble, I won't be doing anymore recordings on this laptop as am fed up with it (although Intrigue turned out OK as I wasn't yapping on it so much), so starting a new thread for......
