  1. Version 1.0.1-with sounds

    78 downloads

Hog Money by Impulse Gaming An Epoch machine with a £15 Jackpot at 25p play, with an 82% payout. THIS LAYOUT IS CURRENTLY MUTE. There is a member on here, who has/had this machine, but I can't find the thread, if that member sees this and can help with some great pictures and sound roms, that would be excellent. UPDATE NOW WITH SOUNDS thanks to user @fat.tony Anyway. it's very much like Trailblazer. Few differences, the key features are listed, the bonus are displayed on the alpha. No bonus numbers on the grid, but if while playing on the grid, you collect numbers as you gamble and if you collect a blue and orange number, you get a bonus. KEYS: Insert Coin = 0, Cancel/Collect = `, Hold 1-3 = 1-3, Sizzle or Fizzle = F, Exchange = E, Start = Space. Cashpot = P LEFT HI = Q, LEFT LO = A RIGHT HI = W, LEFT LO = S THANKS AS EVER TO THE LATE WIZARD RIP for the wonderful MFME emulator. Thanks to Tommy C for the reels from Trailblazer. Thanks to MR P's and Infection for the images to go by. Thanks to the rom provider. Thanks to Impulse and whoever owns them now, for leaving FME alone
  2. Just watched the videos. Great to finally have the sound roms for this, once again, it gives us hope that no matter how long the wait, resources will be uncovered for others we are still missing. Agree, arcades were just such magical places back in the 80's and early 90's. I wish I had taken pictures of videos of them back in the day.
  3. Excellent, a machine I remembered playing a lot back in the day. I know we don't have great art (well AFAIK anyway), but hopefully a DX can be knocked up at some point.
  4. If it's this one, then it's in the legacy section. You need to be a donator to get access. It's made by @dad, perhaps he can assist. It does need a makeover and alterations to get it to function in v20.1 though.

TREE AMIGOS An Impulse Gaming machine on Epoch Tech £25 Jackpot, 30p play, 82% payout. This layout is mute, no sound roms. No Images, so layout will not represent the real machines layout. KEYS: ` = Cancel/Collect, 0 = Insert £1 1 = Hold 1, 2/H = Hold 2/Hi, 3/L= Hold/Lo A = Auto Nudge, S = Shuffle, Space/G = Start/Gamble, N = Take Nudges, F = Take Feature, T = Take Shots THANKS TO WIZARD (RIP) FOR THE WONDERFUL MFME EMULATOR Thanks to the rom provider, to the reel providers (from a few layouts). Thanks to Impulse and whoever owns them now for leaving FME alone.
  6. Some more chat/info on Ding Dong Bells and BGT in general. https://www.fruitemu.co.uk/ib/index.php?app=forums&module=forums&controller=topic&id=20094&page=2&app=forums&module=forums&id=20094
  7. None is the answer. I believe it's a well protected tech, that not emulated. The Ding Dong Bells emulated is a MPU4 coinworld rebuild. The DX for it has BGT artwork but that's all.
  8. If you've got to the jackpot and no repeat chance offered, then no. The emulator plays exactly as the real machine. You could be mistaken, or possibly this is a different rom revision and they took the repeat chance out or added one to a later rom revision . Or the repeat chance only exists in a different jackpot version. If you haven't got to the jackpot yet and are just going by the layout not showing it, then perhaps it does and just doesn't advertise it on the glass or the resources used were from an unfinished version. Sometimes for instance a flyer used to produce a layout, may show something different to the finished machine.

Survival - Starring me, wearecity as the face. A Maygay machine on Epoch Tech. 30P Play, £25 Jackpot, 82% Payout. Unfortunately this layout is mute. No art resources available, so it will not be a replication of the real machine. Win series chance button - The alpha says, take spins. When the button is pressed, it simply goes through the the no's lamps and either gives the win series or if it doesn't, the feature continues. There doesn't appear to be any representation of what you need to land on or light to be awarded the series. I've left components off screen to the right of the layout, if someone wants to take a look. Something I've missed or perhaps something not implemented in the emulator. The machine has a couple of little quirks. If you land on skill stop on the feature, you can use cancel as usual, but also any of the hold buttons to have it focus on just features, faces, cash. Sometimes when you lose a gamble on the cash amount at the bottom and thus fail to get on the feature, you are awarded a consolation prize. Pressing the cancel button several times when you get get skill continue, put the word continue into lower case, perhaps a bug or perhaps, some people may find it easier to hit lower case, than upper case letters on skill. KEYS: '=CANCEL, 1=HOLD 1, 2=HOLD 2/HI, 3=HOLD 3/LO, C=COLLECT E=EXCHANGE, SPACE = START, F = COLLECT FEATURE W = WIN SERIES CHANCE, T= COLLECT CASH THANKS TO WIZARD, MAY YOU RIP, FOR THE WONDERFUL MFME EMULATOR, NEVER FORGOTTEN. Thanks to the rom provider, the main reels providers/producers (obtained from different layouts) Thanks to Maygay (and whoever owns them now) for leaving the FME scene alone.
  10. No problem I'm not sure, but I think it might have been from the £25, when some machines accepted notes. When I first noticed the acceptor stopping accepting notes in the emulator, I was amazed, because the coin hoppers never run out, I E you can't empty a machine. When I queried it, Wizard said the following. Just because the hopper never runs dry doesn't mean the machine doesn't keep track of it.Try looking at the float level in refill or the number of coins you can refill
  11. The note acceptor only gives change, as per the real machine. If you look at it, it says insert notes for change Sometimes it's not implemented into a layout because of that, but for as accurate emulation as possible it's implemented in the emulator and layout producers generally put it in. The emulator will also like the real machine, block note acceptance if the machine doesn't have sufficient coins. That's for both the change and credit variety of note acceptors.
  12. You've possibly used your free download limit, for non donators. Currently 4/8/16, day/week/month https://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/topic/4898-faq/
  13. Wizard was never a one to release just because it was Xmas, New Year etc.... But it didn't stop us dreaming. Releases always seemed to be on a random wet Tuesday at 7.22pm. Then it was blurry eyes the next morning for work after being up until 3am chatting in Mirc and playing it.
  14. Thanks very much for this Mort, it helps us gain a little more insight to the genius himself. It does sound sickly as every man should be equal, but even though I had never met him, I knew I should be privileged that he had given his time to exchange PM's with me. It's like having that person who you loved to have a conversation with, maybe a celeb, sports star or a great person in history for instance and them taking the time out, to actually engage with you, rather than ignore you. Even though they were the one doing the entertaining and you were a mere fan. I think for many of us, if we had, had the chance to meet him, we would have had no qualms of inviting him into our home to stay if he needed and then down the pub, he wouldn't be needing to put his hand in his pocket all night. I think we all knew he was a very private person and highly intelligent, therefore it would be interesting to know if he was an addict or a professional player of fruit machines. On the one hand, it would show that everyone can be addicted, no matter how intelligent you are, but I suspect it was the latter. Also fruit machine are generally looked upon as a little bit dirty, so it's kind of also strange that someone with his intelligence would even give them the time of day. Considering the general tone of the place today, it's been great to read something interesting and hopefully it will remind a few people, why we are really here and what we all agreed to do, when Chris died.
  15. Yes it's meant to be £10, but for some reason, probably an emulator update, changed it to £15 incorrectly. It doesn't matter what is shown on the DX, you can change the price of play, jackpot and payout % in the configuration window, on this machine to whatever the rom revision allows, by following the instructions I gave in the first post, so for instance 20p/25p is fine, 30p is not. I've mine set at 84%. Degsy, quite often plays £8 DX, set to £6, to ensure you can get the £3 repeat, if the £8 rom revision takes that away. Anyway, after changing everything to suit your requirements and then pressing ctrl R to reset the machine, it will set it up to what you set it to. You might wish to ram clear to start afresh with it as well, you can do that also at the bottom of the configuration screen. That will auto reset the machine and will alarm for a few seconds then be fine. One final thing the % is not confirmed by the machine when it's loaded up. You can confirm it has set to whatever % you set it to, by clicking on diag on the top bar. This will open the diag window. Tick all the boxes, then click on the machine and ctrl R to reset it. You may have to drag the diag window out a bit, but amongst the messages, you'll see the price of play, % of payout and sometimes the jackpot amount set.
  16. Tick the S door, then click on the configuration tab and then change the prize in the drop down box to £10 from £15. Then uncheck the S door. Well done for spotting the error, it wasn't present in earlier versions, so V20.1 must have altered the config for some reason.
  17. I don't believe they are connected. Richy doesn't act in a such a way and looking at the other persons past posts, clearly shows they are not connected.
  18. Got my new 50" 4k TV today and this is the first layout I loaded up, knowing it was super res and high quality. Thought 1080p was great for FME, but 4K, just takes it to another level, particularly with layouts like this. Sitting in a dark room, with headphones on, it really is easy to forget that you are playing an emulator and not playing the actual machine. I was even getting annoyed at it taking £10 for a £1.20 kill board. £54 in, before it finally went to the top and got the £25 and it repeated.

    Maygay complete MADNESS

Well I really hope this machine get a release. Love a bit of Madness
  20. Go to the galleries below. https://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/gallery/category/5-mfme-layouts/ Click on the manufacturer of the machine and then sort by caption. That will show you what layouts are available in alphabetical order. Some layouts will be in the legacy download section, which I believe you need to be a donator to access them. In your case Magic Carpet & Quality streak are in the legacy section. Rocket Money by Red gaming hasn't been done yet.
  21. 1/ Click on the first slave, that means it's invisibly selected. 2/ Press Esc on your keyboard, to bring up the menu. 3/ Click on Design, then edit mode. 4/ Drag the bottom right of the slaves window, to the size you want it to be. 5/ Drag the slave to the position under the top box where you want it be in. 6/ Press F1, gets rid of the menu (if it's not correctly positioned for you, press esc again to bring up the menu and have another go at positioning it) 7/ Repeat the steps above for the other 2 slaves. 8/ Press F7 to quick save. 9/ Press Ctrl Q to quit the layout. 10/ Reload layout, all should be as you left it. Some other little bits. 1/ You can move the whole layout around the screen, by holding the left shift key on your keyboard and dragging it around with the mouse. 2/ If you click on the top box and choose ALT U, it will unlink the slaves. You can then move the slaves around individually by left shift key and left mouse button. This might be easier to position them. 3/ Once everything is where it is perfect for you, then click on top box and ALT L, to link the slaves.
  22. I have corrected. Wasn't sure about pointing people towards sites, so they can effectively just download bulk, but I guess you didn't do them to not be played.
  23. https://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/topic/4898-faq/ You'll find download limits in the above thread. 4 a day, 8 a week, 16 a month. Don't forget other FME sites such as www.dadsfme.com and www.fruitemu.co.uk where you can find some downloads not here. Also, hosted by this website https://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/forum/26-dxcellent/ I believe that downloads from the DXcellent part of the forums can be downloaded in addition to the limits. There's some great layouts of machines, you'll find the file at the bottom of the first post in each thread, usually under the picture of the machine. Obviously if you want unlimited, just make a donation, it's appreciated and well worth it.
  24. Hi. The best version is v20.1 which you get in the downloads section. You will need Windows 10. https://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/files/ Any of the machine downloads from here will work with that version. If you have any other version of Windows then you'll need v6.1. There are less machine layouts that work with that version. https://www.desertislandfruits.com/forum/index.php?/files/category/71-legacy-releases/ You don't have to donate but if you do you will get unlimited downloads. I would get the emulator and download a few machines, then you can decide if you want unlimited downloads or not.
  25. I think that was a typo by Amusement. I'm not at home, so unable to check, but you need to open it in at least whatever version of the emulator, it was produced in or a later version. Should be fine in v20.1. Unless they are already linked, try opening the top box first and let it fully initialise then open the slave/s. If they are linked already then opening the top box will open the slave/s that are linked to it. In that case you might need to unlink them. In the installation directory for MFME you should find a text file with all the keyboard shortcuts I think it's called tips. The link/unlink keyboard shortcut should be in that. Alt L and Alt U, spring to mind.
