Zippy 3,877 Posted April 12, 2020 Report Share That includes mine. I can only afford a certain amount of stiffy's at my old age!! Quote Link to comment
stevedude2 473 Posted April 12, 2020 Report Share Clone of Twilight Zone, don't think any ROMs are available unfortunately. Would love to be proven wrong though Quote Link to comment
Zippy 3,877 Posted April 12, 2020 Report Share Can't the roms from TZ or PIA go in this? Quote Link to comment

serene02 2,379 Posted April 12, 2020 Report Share Nothing stopping somebody creating a layout built with alt roms in readiness for the actual roms turning up. I’m not too keen of hybrid setups personally, really don’t see the point. I do like the look of the artwork on this clone. I can’t recall seeing many of these in the wild, maybe a couple, there wasn’t any round my neck of the woods at all. J 1 Quote Link to comment
stevedude2 473 Posted April 12, 2020 Report Share Couple in an arcade round my way but on 5p/£3.00, so they were pretty much wallpaper. I liked the WOFMHT sound though, very pleasant. Can't remember if the nudge tune was themed or just the generic sound they had on many other games of that ilk. I bet a lot of these ended up as Cash Bowls or Golden Miles and the like. wearecity 3,637 Posted April 12, 2020 Report Share Shame as we still don't have many DX's for these standard WFMHT machines. Grand Prix, Camelot etc.... Quote Link to comment
evo1 1,133 Posted April 12, 2020 Report Share ya for so many around back in the day i cant believe thay are so rare. Here is the artwork for Twilight Zone i think was used on the one back in 2006, could do with an update in a decent cab etc, not sure if there any use. Shame we didn't have the £4.80 one. 46055-twilight-zone-dx-kit-sorta-thinger.zip Quote Link to comment

Tommy c 7,180 Posted April 12, 2020 Report Share No roms for that moonshot, there is a massive hd scan of it on the mecca but no roms. Quote Link to comment
stevedude2 473 Posted April 13, 2020 (edited) Report Share I used to have a Twilight Zone in my bedroom back in the late 90's. Sold it to make way for a BFM Club Attraction. Had a Barcrest non-prize Monte Carlo as well. All long gone now - you just get bored of them after a while. Anyone remember Ace's Aladdin's Cave? Clone of Swap Shop. Only ever saw one, never seen a pic since. Edited April 13, 2020 by stevedude2 Quote Link to comment

Only ever saw one, never seen a pic since. Yes, an arcade in Ingoldmells had Aladdin’s Cave and Swop Shop next to each other. Both on £4.80 jackpot Didn’t like the game mechanics personally. Think you could still empty the early £4.80 v02 from lines, was a pain though I imagine as it would offer that stupid reel spin feature mostly when buzzed up. J Quote Link to comment
CompostCORNER 451 Posted April 13, 2020 Report Share Shame theres no roms for this. Early roms, I just played for the lines. Probably why I always ended up skint. 1 Quote Link to comment

serene02 2,379 Posted April 17, 2020 Report Share Aladdins Cave was a machine made by Ace Coin it was a clone of Swap Shop. Stevedude mentions it above. There was never a £4.80 version of the PCP machine. J Quote Link to comment
