@Pook is this good enough for a dx?

I have a flyer for this so could get a nice HD scan. But I'd check rom availability first before posting and getting peoples hopes up.

Can't the roms from TZ or PIA go in this?

They can but it’s a bit pointless and the matrix won’t be correct.   Would love to see the roms turn up.

Just a worse case scenario and I surely hope they turn up too.

Nothing stopping somebody creating a layout built with alt roms in readiness for the actual roms turning up.

I’m not too keen of hybrid setups personally, really don’t see the point.  I do like the look of the artwork on this clone. I can’t recall seeing many of these in the wild, maybe a couple, there wasn’t any round my neck of the woods at all.

Couple in an arcade round my way but on 5p/£3.00, so they were pretty much wallpaper.  I liked the WOFMHT sound though, very pleasant.  Can't remember if the nudge tune was themed or just the generic sound they had on many other games of that ilk.  I bet a lot of these ended up as Cash Bowls or Golden Miles and the like.

I used to have a Twilight Zone in my bedroom back in the late 90's.  Sold it to make way for a BFM Club Attraction.  Had a Barcrest non-prize Monte Carlo as well.  All long gone now - you just get bored of them after a while.

Anyone remember Ace's Aladdin's Cave?  Clone of Swap Shop.  Only ever saw one, never seen a pic since.

Yes, an arcade in Ingoldmells had Aladdin’s Cave and Swop Shop next to each other.

Both on £4.80 jackpot ;)

Didn’t like the game mechanics personally.  Think you could still empty the early £4.80 v02 from lines, was a pain though I imagine as it would offer that stupid reel spin feature mostly when buzzed up.

I thought Aladdin's Cave was a £4 JP, is there any images of the £4.80 version or am I missing something?

Aladdins Cave was a machine made by Ace Coin it was a clone of Swap Shop.  Stevedude mentions it above.  There was never a £4.80 version of the PCP machine.
