About This File

One of my all time favorite machines! This was the first machine I ever owned. I did make a DX for this back in 2005. I did also get the roms dumped as mine was the 2p/£2.40 version. Still have the glasses in the loft almost 20 years after it broke!

Not long ago found an old hard drive, saw the rom on there so attempted to get the 20p version converted down to the 2p version..... Which was tricky as it needed some GFX work doing on it, so thanks to @vectra666 for that and to @hitthesix for attempting to sort the chr and to @johnparker007 for sorting the chr :)

Don't be put off with the small stake, plays a great game on 2p. Jackpot even holds on this set up, the only version that does this. It sometimes holds after nudge, but not all the time. Did this in the wild back in the day too.

Shortcuts are in the notes, usual suspects.

Nice :)

I did actually use to play the 2p Sunset Boulevard back in the 90s, it was in the front area of an arcade known locally as 'Big Smithies' (as Mr Smith also owned another, smaller arcade on the next corner of the same block - that one was known as 'Little Smithies').

If you have more of these MPU3/4 ROMs with chr problems, feel free to sling them my way, and I can have at least have a try, though I can't always do them with what I did on this one (I couldn't do Vectra's one the other week), so no guarantees of success ;)

Gotta love these 2pers and if you want a casual laid back virtual punt with decent gameplay then these smaller price of play games are the way to go, far better than todays pound a spin junk

Thanks for this:) I seem to remember a small arcade somewhere up north, that had nothing but Sunset Boulevards. They were very popular at the time.

I love this machine! It was the first machine I could win on. Just looking out for 'flicker nudges' and just holding red sevens on the win line or 1 nudge away, it loved to give them :)

If any other roms give us hassle, I will drop you a pm :)
