Ok so it sounds like it's the videos! If you have a Monobehaviour per machine that is controlling the videosnap playback, perhaps you could implement a status... so you'd have something like: VideoSnapPlayer.cs public enum Status { Uninitialised, Initialising, Initialised, Playing, Stopped } So then you'd have a 'MachineManager.cs' or some such overall controller script, and each of your machines is registered (and potentially instantiated by) this machine manager. So then the loading screen would only disappear when the Machine Manager says that all of the machines are fully initialised, i.e: 1. Show Loading Screen 2. Load Scene 3. Initialise The Machines 4. All Machines Are Fully Initialised/Playing 5. Hide Loading Screen I'd probably go that route as a first attempt to solve your issue

@johnparker007 Thank you very much for your answer !! I'm sorry, maybe I expressed myself badly, I'm Italian and I don't speak English well... however, the problem occurs when initializing the scene. In practice I have a game presentation screen, a main menu, by pressing the "START" button it loads the scene with the arcade room and the cabinets. I use load scene Asynch, but when the scene is displayed, there is heavy lag, and the framerate drops to 10 - 15 fps, and then returns to the classic 144 after 2 secs... I followed your advice using the profiler, and I noticed that the peak in the CPU is with the "OTHERS" category... At that point I tried disabling videosnap loading and the lag disappeared. As regards the videos of the cabinets, I created 3 videos of 1024x768 resolution, dividing them into a grid of 4 x 4 videos and then, using texture offset, I displayed the portion of the video on each cabinet. I also tried to put a video for each cabinet but the problem gets worse. When loading your Arcade simulator, I see that first there is a loading bar and then a percentage number regarding the initialization of the room, then when the initialization finishes the very fluid and complete room appears. Maybe what I should be able to do is to initialize the cabinets before the scene appears... I hope I was clearer, thanks again for the reply and congratulations again for your splendid work!! i will attach an image of the profiler.

Yeah this original Arcade Simulator is pretty much feature frozen as it is now, as I'm getting started on a suite of programs (Oasis) that will ultimately lead to the successor. Unfortunately the input system that was set up was a little basic, with no definable controls. However, some have had luck with running a program like Joy2Key, that allows mapping the inputs of your joystick to generate key presses. If you can get that set up, I believe the standard keys I set up were QAOP (Up/down/left/right) and Space/M/N/B for button 1/2/3/4. That is specifically for the video games. So if it's just the video games you want to control with the joystick, that might be a way...

Ahh, I used to hog this machine in an arcade called "Talk of the town" in Herne Bay, somewhere around the very late 1990's to early 2000's. It was 2p play, possibly £5 jackpot. I just liked the fact I got 50 plays for a £ and had a high bar stool to sit on while playing it... - I loved it in that arcade! Thanks for the lovely collection of DX's, @vectra666!

Sorry John, i asked in the wrong section. I have seen your answer in the other post you did some time ago , i will have to wait then ...... i really want to use my joystick,it's more authentic that way......
