Evening all,

For a bit of fun, can folks please list any machines that are a real stinker to Jackpot. Be good to have a crack at those.

Been playing deal or no deal crazy chair, boy it's tight as! with over 1.4k in 150 out, not paying above 15 at the mo.

Have a great day all!

Stu

I take it we mean normal AWP's - not clubbers then?

What have you done to that poor little Crazy Chair?!?!?

Quite a few DONDS play that badly though - or at least pay their RTP elsewhere, a lot of them are fairly adverse to be being played for JP's and won't let you.

Some £4 machines - surprising difficult to JP, stuff like Action Bank / Action Cash / Action Note by Barcrest and a lot of BFM machines were programmed more as £2 repeaters than £4 tokeners - even though they have a JP win on the reels. Load one of them - you might be shocked how hard it is to get an actually JP.

A few.... not loads - and never as a "player" (bar one)

Two spin in cashpots on £100 machines in my local sports club in the early 90's

£200 Cash on the nile three or four times in my local casino - Mid to late nineties

£200 Cops and Robbers in Pontins on the Cashpot method - as a player late noughties

And my best - or luckiest - was a £1000 Club Money to burn - in my local casino - which I was only in cos my boss had failed to turn up for his own leaving do. I had maybe £40 on me. IRL - that machine had two hoppers one with £300 for normal wins and a back up with £750 purely for the JP. On a JP board, you could hear this hopper coming online - and moving inside the cabinet. Something a casino regular had told me a few months previously.

Anyway - that night - i'm £6 in and I get a board, and hear the hopper move! Or have i imagined i??t.... nope 1000 shiny pound coins for me....

I was a semi pro on the £10 to £70 eras - and made a lot of money. There are some on the site who made tens of thousands playing clubbers from the 80's onwards. They have had more JP's than i have had hot dinners....

Lord of the Rings Club. Try and get a jackpot without looking for the method (unless you already know it). Don't think it's even possible to get a jackpot without using it!

Nudge quest was a shit to jackpot, although remember in arcade  once it rolled in and held three times!! Topstop and cashcounter were easier on the nudges to jp

@MikeyMonster AWP or Clubbers! Anything really.

Interesting about DOND, yes trying to force was not brining to much luck!

Will give those bad boys a load up in the coming days, see what happens!

you ever potted a clubber in the real world mate?

Cheers!

Stu

While this post wasn't directed at me, I've potted loads of club machines over the years. Issue was finding out that there was so much variety in the way the jackpots were available.

Some were an easy enough force, a bit like a longer winded pub machine session. Some were utterly unforceable, and the jackpot / cashpot just seemed to be unlocked at random (although more likely it was a set amount of credits between them, say 10000 credits or something daft).

Some were (or at least appeared to be!) literally just pub machine code, with an extra prize on top of the ladder. They typically played like a pub machine of the day, with a massive block before the jackpot.

Some of them the feature had bugger all value, and you basically had to wait for the machine to either drop the jackpot / cashpot win 1 symbol away on the winline and give nudges.

@CasinoFruits good to know, will have to give those bad boys a go! in terms of Clubbers Psycho cash beast $250. Outside of that, oh so many. A few to mention, King Kebab, The Simpson's (orig and homers meltdown) , pie factory. Where do I stop! also love top real games like Party Time, golden game etc.

What are your favs mate? any potted a clubber in the real world?

Hi @STU1980.   Some great machines there!   I remember playing King Kebab.  Homers Meltdown is an absolute classic.

Some of my favourites are Crazy Fruits (any jackpot, I just like the machine!), the Club Cops and Robbers £150 jackpot, the old £6 Andy Capp machine, and the £250 Club Casino Crazy.

I have managed to jackpot two clubbers in my time.  the £250 Casino Crazy, which dropped by Jackpotting on the winspins side, and Club Thunderbirds, which did the same thing but on the features side.  The Casino Crazy jackpot happened from a £10 deposit too!  Bonus.

I've tried Psycho Cash Beast on here on a £25 jackpot but not on a clubber, I'll have to give it a go.

Have you managed to drop any clubbers?

@CasinoFruits Deffo good machines! Crazy Fruits is awesome, could rob you blind at times (like any machine really) That's cool to know, will have to give some of those a go. Casino Crazy of 10 quid! that is ace.

Never dropped a clubber myself mate.....

Miss playing machines, in Aus now - good luck finding a  fruit machine! so I get my fix on here. Any machines knocking about in the UK? other than the digital ones!

Cheers!

Yes, there are still a few of the original 'mechanical' ones around.   I still find them more fun to play then the digital ones.   They just seem to play better, and give more of a game, whilst offering more features, rather than just the generic Free Spins.

Most of the pub ones are being changed to digital now, but I play a lot of snooker, and some of the clubs have the original machines.  My local club still has 4 original ones, ranging from 10p play £5 jackpot, to the £1 play £100 jackpots.

I still play old style machines, but stay away from the digital ones, as they seem even harsher than the old machines.

This is a great site for playing and bringing back memories though.      I've had a session on the £6 Pink Panther machine a while ago.   Great night.

🙂
