Just watched , or should I say listened to the video...thanks for it. I've had varirents on this many times over the years. But listening you the video, here's how I felt. I smiled, 94, the good old days, 2nd year of uni myself. I laughed, out with uni mates etc. I cried for you for the rest of the video. I know a few of us have traded emails like that to each other, but to hear it, laid out in front of you, fact by fact, like in a novel. That's really got me upset. (and I know upset, I'm a Sunderland fan). I then thought a while, and cried for me. 46 doing okay now, getting by just, but fucked up so many years with bandits, drink, friendships, relationships, and family so much....and you can't get those years back. Jammy git. I had to cancel my kickstarter payment for the basic next + case. Going to buy a Uno+ or similar with the next core only about 50 core and it emulates 20 computers on a massive FPGA. Roms are out there, it's already emulated. That said, it won't emulate the 3 AY chips, heard a demo on YT, 3 AY chips, 9 channels on the Next, bloody brilliant. Would have been sooo good to have the real thing with the Rick D casing. Never mind. Talking Spectrum, I backed the Mastertronic book ages ago, and thats being released soon....I'll scan the page on the QFTGE. NQ.

AE, it depends on what you knew, the only cracking info that I got was about the P1 DKs right from the start. They were everywhere, some arcades had half a dozen. I payed a mate 200 quid a week to play them for me, and I still made something silly like 10-12k a month profit. That was going from 9am until 3am in nightclubs, arcades, with a locations list. How much do I have now? Nothing, I'm bankrupt (and working) How many children do I have? None, not married, still single. How is nmy health? Fucked. Just returned to work this week after a 3 month breakdown. How much cash do I have? About 150 until the end of the month. Do I own a property? Of course not, never have, always rented. Don't read shite that's posted onJPF or the FB group, it's 99% bollocks. That said, if you know your stuff, on £100 AWPs, there's serious cash to be had. Don't know the info, you'll get fucked over. Don't try it kids, I packed in tabs and drink and that was piss easy compared to the the grip any kind of gambling can take hold of you. There's no glamour in it, stinking of piss, because you've wet yourself because you know something, and can't leave a machine. As J says there maybe have been great times, it wasn't for me. Making money yes, but working up to 20 hours a day 7 days a week will take it's toll. NQ.

Sort of going off topic here, but, I was thinking of a word today, and I thought was it a real word, or did I just sort of dream it. Thought about again and again - then I thought, I wonder if I'd read it in an email. Searched all emails going back 18 years, and there it was, you said it, and the phrase was... "spaffed in me pants". For those that don't understand it, it means "I say old chap, that's rather good". That's what we're getting at the moment, these great videos, emulator releases, new resources, layouts appearing. Yay, first win, 6 quid. Sorted. How strange. Thanks for figuring it out you lot and posting the info. Also Skill Cash works now, before it let you up to 3 quid, and then went so quick it was impossible to even see. AND the cancel button slows it down as it should, whereas it didn't before.
