  1. I too would love to see the channel come back in some form as like many, I do miss watching the videos And if it does, I'm already secretly looking forward to a video about the Omega DX that came out a little while ago
  2. It looks like you like you're a Barcrest (and similar - such as BWB and Vivid) MPU4 and MPU5 games) type of person Personally, the list of fun games to play in MFME is too long and, if you're limited to how much you can download each day or month, I fear we might recommend you something you don't like. What I would say is there's some handy channels on Youtube where you can browse people either playing 50 credit challenges in the emulator, or just play the game for about 2-3 minutes just to show the layout and what the game is like briefly. I'll link 3 of my go to's when it comes to searching for what games I might be interested in that i've not heard of before. https://www.youtube.com/c/WorldofMFME/playlists - this lists games by operator, have a look around the barcrest playlist, as well as the BWB and Vivid ones for games of that ilk, and of course broaden your horizons with other manufacturers. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpggX64HVQMlrBrOgZfyzCw - AK FortyFive's channel https://www.youtube.com/user/MrDavePook - Pook's (DXcellent website which is hosted here) youtube channel
  3. no idea how "20p Binary" in MFME transfers to a real fruit machine unfortunately
  4. The setting itself is odd, but it works so do as follows Click on Design and go into edit mode. drag the window open slightly to the right so you have a bit of open black space available. Right click in that bit of space you've created and go down to buttons, then select the option "Button". Right click the button you've created and tap on properties.. Leave the button number blank, but underneath in the coin/note drop down menu you need to select "20p Binary" . Then choose a shortcut (as pressing 0 gives you £1 credits, I usually would choose 9 as a shortcut, so whenever you press 9, you will insert a 10p coin) If you want, in the big open box at the bottom right, you can label the button like I have, but you don't have to - basically make sure you have it set up as per the image below Then click on apply. Close the properties window Drag the right hand side of the window back to where it was, so it just shows the machine and hides the black area and the button. The Save the layout (Design, Layout/Game, Save layout) and come out of edit mode. Jobs a goodun.:D I did spend ages trying to find other coin inputs such as 20p or 50p, but I tried every button number from 1-160 with no joy, and all the options in that drop down menu. Sods law those coins have really silly button numbers, but hey, I got your 10p working!
  5. it's how I'm learning about it in MFME - I like to start a machine from afresh and ran into these problems myself when I ram cleared, spent a while trying to figure it out and got there in the end
  6. the Cash Crusader games, we need more info than "parts missing" because from what I see when I fire up those games, they're fine
  7. So i can sort Game of Gnomes and Club Treble Top. Assuming you're using MFME 20.1: Game of Gnomes -Tap on Design and go into Edit Mode, Open Service Door by ticking S Door, go into Configuration options Make sure Note Acceptor, Hopper 1 and Hopper 2 have DES ticked and that note acceptor has GB2 selected underneath (as I think when you download it, the note acceptor might be set to GB1 which might be causing the error) . Basically you want the values set in the photo below Then, Tick Trusted underneath Note Acceptor, Hopper 1 and Hopper 2. Hit Ram Clear, let the game do its thing to boot up. As it's initialising, the 3 ticks underneath DES will disappear as this is the machine pairing the coin mechs and note acceptor... and make a cup of tea whilst it sits through the SND CHK from 1 to 100. If (When) Succesful, the display will say £1, 10p and Note acceptors are trusted. Untick service door so the machine reboots, and come out of edit mode then you should be good to go. Make sure you save the layout too - Design, Layout/Game, Save Layout Basically do the same for Club Trable top as well.
  8. or Bellfruits Wheel of Wealth perhaps?
  9. yeah @woodsy updated the release with the correct roms for the £5 version. Strangely, the roms in the £5 version can be changed up to £25 JP, but the roms in the £25 version released can't be changed from £25, and you can only switch between 25p and 30p stake (otherwise it will error)! All fun and games but it got sorted
  10. Just for anyone who has the £25 version of Mortal Wombat and sees that it's mute, close MFME down, go into the folder where you've saved Mortal Wombat files, open up the GAM file for Mortal Wombat in notepad, and the MasterVolume setting is currently set to 0.. Simply edit it to something around the 120 mark, save the GAM file, then fire up MFME again, and load Mortal Wombat back in, and it should then, have sounds
  11. no worries, sorry to be a pain again with all the tooing and froing but glad I could be of help
  12. @woodsy sorry to be a pain in the arse, more issues with Mortal Wombat BUT I think i've fixed them, so i'll PM you, and if you're happy might need another re-release haha
  13. no probs don't worry about PMing me .might as well just update the release thread with the update if/when you fix it
  14. @woodsy there seems to be a problem with Mortal Wombat £5 version - the £5 version is released still on 30p/£25 but when you lower it to £5 jackpot, it gives the "invalid key 4.6 error". Whats bizarre is that on the alpha display as it's booting it says 5C 10p (as it does for any other stake/JP you try to set) but the error only disappears when you put it back to £25JP at 25p or 30p play. So i'm not sure this is a runner at £5 unfortunately
  15. oh no that's really sad news As serene said, You were one of my go to channels as well. Mind you that said I hope everything is ok @Chopaholic and if it isn't, take care and do what you gotta do to feel better And cheers for all the vids you made btw, they were always a great watch
  16. another fine vid choppers i didn't know about Hot Dogs and looks really fun to play, so it's another added to the collection, also cheers Dad for the layout as well!
  17. press F12 to flick between session and lifetime stats
  18. Hey Chops, I downloaded Fruit Cracker as it's a game i've never heard of and fancied a punt at it myself, however all the reel lamps are wrong, don't suppose you could upload the version you have which has the correct ones please, or let me know what lamp numbers need to be for them to be correct so I can edit them manually. Cheers in advance! EDIT: I'm using 20.1 if that's any bother
  19. You might need to go into a bit more detail as to what actually isn't working so we can pinpoint what you're having trouble with and try to help
  20. Ah I hadn't checked the forum first, I commented about the meters on the YT channel @vectra666 cheers for updating the reel symbols, the new alpha display is nice too, and upping it to 25p from 20p play is a nice touch
  21. @vectra666 hey vecs, do you know if these use dips 3 and 4 for percentage, or dips 3 4 & 5? cheers!
  22. @Chopaholic timing always impeccable gives me something watch a little bit later whilst enjoying Saturday night take away.. I did watch the first 10 mins or so already, I notice you had the same issue as me with Alice in Wonderlands meters (and i think all Gen 1 Reflexes are the same?) ... a reset of the game, or opening the service door will update the meters
  23. not sure if this counts as "fixed" or what, but whenever I download a new machine to play, i always like to start fresh and RAM clear. Anyways, on RAM resetting all 3 slave machines on Golden Game 3 player link up (£25 jp version), put some cash in all 3, and all 3 followed the exact same pattern - even to the point where all 3 offered the wink nudges to the golden game at the same amount of credits played, all needing 9 nudges, and all 3 paid exactly the same amount, and the reel stops on the top board were also identical! Obviously when you break the cycle, such as holding something different on one of the machines. Of course over time, all 3 slave machines will play differently as they're played by different people but I couldn't help wondering if this could be classed as "fixed" ?
  24. Wonder if they meant the old £8/£10 Jpm vogue cabinet one... or the more modern version - which someone happens to be selling on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/274903620139?hash=item4001885a2b:g:8dEAAOSwJG5hFlJg
