  1. my first ever 2p experiences were with a 2p cloud 999 and a 2p Starstruck (pcp)
  2. aye, being doing this myself for about 20 years or so, it's been great! Pick wisely as you'll have download limits unless you fancied donating, which unlocks everything until the end of the year have fun out there!
  3. in essence, load a layout in MFME 5.1, then once its loaded, save the layout lol - when you save a dat file in MFME 5.1 it automatically saves as an FML file, which will then run in 20.1 Edit: yes MFME 5.1 works in windows 10 too, thats what I use. didn't entirely read your question properly
  4. So personally I do this: On my main hard drive, I have a folder called MFME, which was set up when you run the installer for the first time so all the necessary files for mfme to work go there (basically c:/mfme) Within the MFME folder I create a GAMES folder, then within the games folder I seperate the type of machines loosely into categories, so basically I have a club folder for all the club machines I download, Hi tech, lo tech, mid tech, S16/£500, Vintage and Zips. I have a zips folder to keep all the zip files I download from here (i never delete them in case i need to reinstall something i've deleted - as it saves precious bandwith on here, and also good as a back up!) I keep each individual machine in its own folder, its just better organised that way. And in game manager I need to do is for it to look in c:/mfme/games to search for games. Some layout designers will put all the files you need to run a layout into a folder, then zip that folder up which is just a simple case of extracting it to the relevant folder within "Games". Some designers just put all the files into the zip, and therefore, I just create a new folder, name it with whatever the machine is called, then extract them to that folder I just created. Sorry that was a bit TLDR haha. But effectively, lets say I downloaded JPM's Snakes and Ladders. The file location for me would be C:/mfme/games/hitech/JPMSnakesAndLadders which is where the gam, fml, ram and rom files will be located for that particular games. If there's more than one version - say a £10 version and a £15 version, they'll get their own folders too.
  5. welcome! Just a heads up in case you haven't read the FAQ You'll be limited to 5 downloads a day up until you hit 10 downloads made in a week, up until you hit 15 downloads made in a month so choose wisely! If you donate via the green box on the front page of this site, that will change to unlimited downloads up until the end of the year
  6. 4 diamonds EDIT: Originally I said it was via 99 nudges, but then unless the cashpot is at maximum, you'd just nudge in the 4 red 7's. Whilst i've barely played this, i'd assume it must be obtainable another way, maybe from something like 16 nudges, or maybe it just rolls straight in when it's ready. I wonder if, you somehow got 99 nudges and nudged the cashpot in, would it still be happy and award the jackpot on the assumption that the cash pot is seperate from main pot, or whether regardless of the cash pot being a seperate pot from the main pot - that it'd clam right up if it was at or over %age
  7. main thing is you got it working. MFME v20.0/20.1 will only work on Windows 10 PC's (and don't seem to be running into any issues on windows 11 as of yet) - any earlier versions it won't work properly, if at all
  8. I'm not too sure where you're going wrong. I just did a fresh install of MFME v20.0 and got to 20.1 with no issues. On first fire up of MFME.exe, windows will ask something about allowing MFME to make changes to your computer. You click YES. Then it'll run the set up wizard. - "This will set up MFME on your computer" window, click next - Select Application Folder, where you want MFME to be stored on your hard drive. Default is c:\MFME\v20. Click next. - Additional Tasks (click if you want an icon on your desktop and create start menu folder or not) - MFME v20.0 installs. click finish when done to close the setup wizard. If you kept Launch MFME ticked, it will automatically launch the first time otherwise > - Fire up MFME v20.0 again - Immediately when you load it up,you will likely again be asked if you would like MFME to make changes to your device, click yes. - Now , when v20.0 is loaded for the first time, you are shown the image below: Status: Version 20.1 is available. Click on update and it will download. I've done it and it works fine. Once it's updated, click the little red X on the top right of the update window (not the main MFME window) and MFME 20.1 will now load automatically after a few seconds. It will cycle through the credits/T&C's and when it's done it completely you'll be able to click on close at the bottom right, where you will be prompted to agree to said T&C's. You click YES. And that's it, all installed, and no need to update every time. I would suggest completely starting from extracting MFME from the zip folder so that it thinks it's the first time you've ever tried using it, as if a previous install hasn't gone correctly, trying to use MFME won't work properly. Assuming you've stored MFME in folder c:\MFME\v20, deleting everything in folder c:\MFME might help before a new fresh install. Just don't delete the zip containing MFME in it that should be in your downloads folder tbf. Hope this helps
  9. sam fox never really did anything for me, it was alllllllll about pammie and cindy crawford
  10. also a lot of games won't let you go into test mode with the refill key turned
  11. na, no point in doing so.. Can you imagine a digi having a £500 cash/£1000 tokens jackpot!
  12. to view the stats, open the S door, then when its done booting and it's now scrolling through the stake/prize/percent on the alpha, hit test so it shows £5 of free play credits, then hit refill. Sometimes the door numbers and refill key button numbers in config are wrong, so make sure they're all blank
  13. then there's this in the New Members/FAQ section if you're struggling on how to get games running in the emulator
  14. just googled it, and yeah most websites say the i7-6700k is quad core, so maybe windows 11 doesn't like something else thats added on to it? I have an ancient Nvidia GTX980 graphics card in it, maybe thats what's holding it back
