  1. Building a bar top cabinet

    Hi everyone I found an old 21” tv in the attic And some old mdf board that someone was throwing out the other day so I though I’d have a crack at a building a bar top cabinet my woodworking skills are pretty crap as you can see in the pics have put hinges on front so it lifts up for access to tv ,and on the Button panel so can pull it down to work on the button etc .Have ordered 2 x pacdrive for lamps and a I pac for the buttons which will hopefully come soon. Just thought this would be a good first build and a learning curve on how mfme works with a pac drive and a I pac. Wish I had done it in portrait mode now but never mind maybe the next one will be bigger and better

    Have been reading the list of changes there is a lot, I am not going to pretend I understand it all because I don’t although picking it up slowly.I do appreciate all the hard work @Wizardhas put in to make it all possible and not forgetting you guys @RegAnd @Geddy for the work you do, this may sound a stupid question having read the above quotes so will the new v20 be able to find the ROMs for us and install it to the layout ? Also on the list of changes wizzard mentions em editor/ simulator modifications what are these for haven’t come across them in v19.8 yet

    thanks for the feedback  guys much appreciated here are some pics I have of aladdins cave cant remember were they came from though think it was at the mecca don't know if I have put them on here correct still learning so let me know if ok. I have one more question once the layouts are done where and how do you put on the site ?

    Good afternoon everyone not sure if this is the correct place for this topic please correct me if not, As the title says I want to try and do my first DX I loved playing this machine as a kid so thought this would be a good one to try as there is only a classic version out there as far as I know. Are there any rules before I start, can I use bits of other peoples work like the classic version from @stevedude2 and actual similar cabinets that are on other layouts etc, or do you have to do everything from scratch ?

    thanks for these think you are right the 3 player machine only seems to run with middle unit and top box working other two are just sitting there with credits on them and nothing else and you can play the middle unit as if it a stand alone.Have used them in your single player £25 layout works a treat 👍.I also tried the hex file @Geddy put on here in the 3player and  that does the same.

    Hi guys don't know if this is the correct place for this topic so please correct me if I am wrong, does anyone know if there are any of the following machines in a dx layout or if there is anyone out there willing to take  them on as I used to love playing these games have found classic versions thx to @stevedude2for master spy and aladdins cave, and thx to @alex74 .for the 5p bank raid version

    hi guys are there any b3/section 16 machines like elvis top 20 rainbow riches or cashino rainbow king ect emulators  if so could anyone provide the links .I used to play the following machines back in the 80s fruit king and stop n step are there any emulators for these ?

  25. WHATS INVOLVED IN CREATING A DX

    HI Everyone have been playing about with MFME V19 for a few days now thanks again to @wizard  (Albus Dumbledore)  and I have recreated a couple of basic classics and starting to get to grips with it. Please could someone advice me on how to attach graphics/pictures to a classic layout and even how to get started on trying to create a dx version how do you go about getting the graphics of the actual machines on to the layout.
