  1. Do you have enough Ampage running? See if there is a minimum amount needed in the manual.
  2. Some layouts might want you to fix the meter settings. I know I have had to fix a few in my collection. You would have to name the layouts involved for more help though, unless you can work out the settings yourself.
  3. I don't blame you. After seeing this. I wont be making any more layouts either.
  4. @bullionbars2011 Thanks for the link. It is nice to know that stuff that took me up to 100 hours to draw now has slotz-r-us all over it. Which now makes me wonder if Richy on fruitemu either has nothing to do with this, is one and the same, or is connected with this sap?
  5. That kind of reminds me of a device that came out in the early 90's. It converted the token pulses to pounds. Not sure if it paid the remainders of a 4.80 jackpot in to 20ps or not though? I do remember it being quite slow as it waited for 5 tokens to pulse, before it did anything. As for your 50v solenoid payout idea, that would only require a 5v relay connected to the Pacdrive, and then you can shove one of the 50v +/- wires through it to make the circuit.

Blimey! That brings back memories. My various Yamaha PSR keyboards, and Hi-Fi stuff arrived in one of them during the 80's. All over priced rubbish by todays standard.
  7. If you are using MFMEv10 you need to load the top box first, so the top box is "in focus". Then you can do as bullionbars2011 mentioned.
  8. So long as the layout is using triacs for the payouts, you can use either hopper for payouts, and set multipliers in the 2nd column. Here are some examples of what I set up for my cabinet. If your layout uses hoppers 1 or 2 only, then you can not switch the hopper round in config, unless you reconfigure the Ipac to swop the coin out sensors ([ ]) Don't forget that you may also have to edit the credit inputs to suit the payouts.
  9. Let me know if you want a copy of the last system 80 cab I made? (pre angled) and I will send you the PSD to play with.
  10. Don't forget the cash desk, change machine and the Chavs in the corner!
  11. It's nice to see things progressing at a such a high speed:) I can't wait to see where this goes. I can't help but laugh at the carpet though. That style of carpet is a casino secret! It is designed to stop you looking at the floor when you walk round the casino, so you only see tempting games.
  12. Just wondering if you managed to do what you set out to do? Because I have just tried to do exactly what you were thinking as an experiment for a future project, and it does work.... But only If you go in to display setting in windows 10, and drag one monitor on top of the other (landscape mode or portrait mode, or both) and set MFME up for duel screen. This was something I didn't realise you could do.
  13. I have the original PSD files of all my layouts (All hand drawn for full resolution), which are all flat before being put in a cab. If you want to experiment with any, let me know, and I will send you the PSD file. You can separate all the layers you need. Golden 2's (SRU) Lucky 2's (SRU) Eachway Nudger (SRU) Pool Play (EM) Sidewinder (AceVideo) Double Top (SRU) Bonus Shuffle (Sys 80) Bar 7 (Sys 80) Clickity Click (Sys 80) Hi Lights (MPU2) Rock On (MPU2) Spot Light (MPU2) Bouncer (Sys 80) Club Vegas (Sys 80)
  14. Have you had a look at the monitor settings under File/Preferences? I use a 55" 4K tv with no issues on any layouts at all. I also use a 41" HD screen in landscape mode, and edit all my layouts to fit at max size when pressing F3. (I multiply the width by 1.777)
  15. F3 is full screen BTW. Try going in to preference and ticking Dual Screen Mode?
  16. Thanks Reg. Great list, and exactly what I have been looking for. With a bit of look I can now find out the name of a game I got off an old C64 magazine in 1985. It was a free game that came on the cassette, and turn out to be the best 2 player game ever!
  17. Thanks for the info. I had a play with the 64bit UI but ran out of time (Visitor). Just wondering which waifu engine you had running, and if you could maybe explain a bit more about the post process a bit. Thanks:)
  18. Very interesting, and ideal for MFME, especially as we can not always find high quality images of older machines. Definitely something positive and exciting for the future:). Just looking at waifu2x library (https://deepai.org/machine-learning-model/waifu2x). Are you using a stand alone program, or the deepai server? Just thought....This would be fun to try with grainy UFO pics.
  19. I am a bit late too, thanks to time zones. Here is a final toast to Chris for everything that he has given to us. I hope that MFME lives on in all of us for many years to come.
  20. I am shocked and saddened, but will be forever grateful for what Chris has done! RIP.
  21. 2 squid jackpots were in 10p tokens back then, and usually on 10p play. 2p stuff was usually a quid, or 1.50 in cash when Silver Shuffle came out. There was a place near me that had blue Eachway Shuffles on all cash (not legal at the time), and they covered the tubes up with black tape, so you could not see how full they were.
  22. Hi Guys Something that struck me the other day whilst playing some 2p games, was.... what is 2p from 1982 is worth now, and how much is a 2 squid jackpot in todays money? Answer.....Thanks to the bank of England calculator https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/monetary-policy/inflation/inflation-calculator 2p is now worth 7.11p 10p is now worth 35.5p So 2 squid jackpots were the equivalent of 7.1 squid. Makes playing the old stuff more interesting. (BTW.I don't have a pound sign - keyboard is fukd (it's made in Thailand))
