The SNES Mini is also good for retrogaming these days... ...this is mine with a USB hanging off the back. There is a great community surrounding this device. IMO, it's even better then the RetroFreak that I have ( https://www.funstockretro.co.uk/retro-freak-retro-gaming-console ).

Back in the dawn of time when Mfme.Exe was known as Fruit.Exe there was a lot of great layouts that max'd out our PC's - sadly times changed and screens changed, so what we have now is basically a small postage stamp sized layout built using tools and methods of many years ago. We should always be pleased with what we get and expect nothing, but you do wonder is it time to start to revisit the past and redoing some of the great classic machines in todays format ? All too often we have the latest and greatest S4's, S5's and MPU5's... ...what about some of the legacy stuff that may welcome a revisit in terms of getting the flyer again and doing it once more. If I was to do a list of machines that I think would be awesome to have in brand new shiney DX format for todays standards, it would include: - Eastenders - Eastenders - Albert Square - Mad House - Super Blackjack Club - Viva Las Vegas - Casino Crazy Club This does not mean there is anything wrong with what we've got - but there is no rule that layouts of the past cannot be redone. When you look at MFME the features that it now offers such as rescaling allow designers to work with a much better sized canvas so don't feel this is a critical email of what we had done in the past - this is a suggestion that when designers are looking for work to do - consider looking to the past and seeing what might welcome a full screen and all singing and dancing version.

To be honest - I have very little talent and certinally no woodman skills. I think with time - anybody could do this.

Not a layout by me - but one by @Mort. He's not been seen around for a while and this was requested in the RAM area by a user that cannot find it anywhere. I did give the original designer the assets for this, so as it's not hosted anywhere we can find - I hope they don't mind. -

The one use of the Concept rom flood, was it gives you more bang for your buck. Many thanks for DADsFME for providing this ( and many other roms ) that can be used to upgrade and downgrade layouts such as this. Now I am over the shock, whoever the original rom provider is, I thank you very much. It is without people like you that work behind the scenes to support us that give us the chance to do this and I know you'll be really pleased to see your efforts put to good use like this - after all - that is why they were shared. With hindsight - I should not have been so annoyed about it - as the original provider has saved me a fair bit of money long term now - again, I thank them very much as you've actually now saved me future money. Nice one ( in the words of Markie ). Needs MFME font. -

Was not going to release this after purchasing the roms for a release after the Concept rom flood as these cost a lot of money to buy - thought sod it as in a better mood now. However, it was always planned as it was on the YouTube channel to be released so if you like this game - enjoy. Needs MFME font. -

That's correct - another Pac-Drive is needed - I am assuming here that your current board is ID#0 so you would need to get ID#1. The best ones to get are with outputs set at off during power up - the need to be specified that way if ordering from where I get mine. https://www.ultimarc.com/pacdrive.html

THIS SHOULD WORK IF FOLLOWED STEP BY STEP. I'VE KEPT IT SIMPLE TO MAKE IT OPEN TO I HOPE MOST PEOPLE - OLD, YOUNG AND OFF-WORLD. LOADING MFME FOR THE FIRST TIME Due to lots of new members who are looking to play games that have recently joined, there seems to be some problems, at least in my PM's in getting games running. Here is a real basic guide for getting everything running. 1. The first thing you need is MFME, go to the link below. Downloads You can download the emulator from there, below is what to look for. For version v19 and later of MFME, you run the installer that you have downloaded and it will auto install for you. Once installed, you need to udpate. Click on the About button and then the Check for Updates button. 2. For older versions of MFME, v6.1 and below you need to install June 2010 DirectX runtime. Direct X Runtime Link 3. or older versions of MFME, v6.1, once downloaded you will have a file in your downloads directory. 4. When extracted you will have a folder that looks like this below. TAKE NOTE ON HOW YOU EXTRACT THE FILE AS YOU DO THIS FOR LAYOUTS. 5. Now you want to play a layout, go to wherever you want to and download a layout as before, the download link is in GREEN. If you don't know how to open a .RAR file, check point 3. and 4. that showed you how to open it for MFME v6.1 6. Whatever method you used on step five ( 5. ) to extract MFME, YOU REPEAT ( DO AGAIN AS BEFORE ON STEP 5 ) ON THIS ITEM YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED. 7. You should have something like this. I have shown in GREEN the .GAM file. This is what you load into MFME. 8. With MFME running that you downloaded in step four ( 4. ), click on FILE, LOAD GAME and browse to the LOCATION ( AS SHOWN ON STEP 8 ) where the .GAM file is located and then you CLICK ON IT. I have shown in GREEN where to do this. 9. Your game will be loaded as below. You are on YOUR OWN FROM HERE AND THERE IS NOTHING ELSE I CAN SHOW YOU when it comes to lauching and running a game within MFME. Edited to add, here is a video from @Chopaholic that is a good watch to also get you started...

So let's talk about the most important thing first - the pixal lady... ...I blurred her out as I had some insane thought that there would be some stupid YouTube T&C I would be breaking by allowing minors to view nudity. Stupid I know - but better safe then sorry. Who she is... I've just done a quick lookup... https://www.page3.com/article/wednesday-march-8-rhian-from-manchester/ The JPM Vogue cabinet is probably one of the better ones to use as it has a lot of depth. All buttons are hardcoded on layouts. To put a layout in the machine takes about 10 minutes work ( including testing ) as long as I don't mess with the background of it. Everything can be backed up to external hard drive for safe keeping. If I was to do it again, I would change nothing really. This operations 100% keyboard and mouse free when working just as the cabinet - it's perfect for my needs. The only thing I'd probably do differently ( assuming I was to have two of these side by side is reverse the colour scheme so the newer one would be a mirror of this one.

This was meant for next week - but due to the huge backlog of stuff to come out - sod it. Make sure you have the latest MFME font from this site, it really needs it on this layout. Thank you. ...please also remember to subscribe to my YouTube channel if you like this - it's not much to ask if you've taken this layout but have not done so already.
