  1. Concept Jackpot 7s (7evens) - 50p / £100

Here's a layout for Concept Games Jackpot 7s, although a few people I know pronounce it 'seven-evens' - so I've gone with both names in the title.
This has been made with photos of my own machine, and a ROM dump I also took of my own machine - so it's definitely running known good software that plays exactly as I like. What is Jackpot 7s? Well to be honest it's basically another Concept 3 win game, but with unique artwork!
Does it play differently to the normal 3 win games I've released with Concept ROMs? Hard to say really. But it's got a good streak in it if caught right!
HAPPY RAM file is included in the folder called 'HAPPY_RAM'. Just copy the RAM and GAM from that folder over the ones in the folder with the .FML and .BIN files in.
When I say happy, I mean it's had £3600 in, which means the 2nd streak is due any second since these ROMs have a known session length of 3600 credits

As with other Casino ROMs, these will give 'ERR-01' on first boot. Either reset the layout (Ctrl+R) or reopen the layout to clear it.
I labelled the ROM dump file with the text that was written on the original Concept provided chip, and so my best guess is :
    'JACKPOT7_v20_M_POP50_P100_SS_S_BR' =
    JACKPOT7, version 2.0, Plan M (standard 10/30/100 paytable)
POP50 (50p play), P100 (no idea?) SS  (soft session?) S (standard rather than protocol?) BR (Blue Rinse a.k.a. Bingo)

    Thanks :
Thanks to @Wizard for the emulator, thanks to everyone who plays and enjoys my layouts, and thanks to those who don't play and can't stand them!
Thanks to @Ginge for previous help, suggestions, and playtesting of previous Concept releases. Note I forgot to include the top-fluorescent lit gradient that @Gingeprovided in the ZIP files, so it's available as a little 42kb BMP file as part of this download if you prefer a more 'authentic' reel gradient!
Thanks to @Reg and everyone else here. Making layouts is something I actually do to unwind. A bit like I spent most of my youth in arcades trying to escape reality, now tinkering with these in MFME and Photoshop keeps me sane

  2. Concept Poundstretcher - £5, £35, £50, £70 and £100 jackpot 4K DX layouts (variety of stakes)

Here's 5 layouts for Poundstretcher - one of Concept's unique games. It's kinda like Bar X but with XXX being replaced by '£££' and paying random amounts based on the cash amounts around the top glass. I say 'random', but the game is compensated and the amounts are almost certainly pre-determined. I think earlier ROMs possibly did have more of a 'random' element. In fact the non-session ROMs included should have the 'run' (main streak) trigger 'at random'. Don't hold me to that though!
As with other Casino ROMs, these will give 'ERR-01' on first boot. Either reset the layout (Ctrl+R) or reopen the layout to clear it.
    £5 jackpot at 10p/20p play.
    £35 jackpot at 30p play.
    £50 jackpot at 30p/50p/£1 play.
    £70 jackpot at 30p/50p/£1 play.
    £100 jackpot at 50p/£1 play.
The ROMs and GAM files are named according to the ROM types as I catalogued them. To help deciper them :
    'PS_CASINO_50P_70_NON_SESSION_FLAT_88'
    =
PoundStretcher CASINO cabinet 50P play 70 pound jackpot NON SESSION (random streak trigger), FLAT game profile and 88% payout.

  3. Concept (Electrocoin) RED BAR - £5, £8, £10, £15 (MAB), £25, £35, £50, £70 and £100 4K HDX

Here's 9 layouts for Super RED BAR, and I've lost count of the amount of GAM files and ROMs, along with my sanity!
I've classed these as Hybrid DX, due to them being a mash-up of online art and my own decals and things.
Too many versions to list. But the paytables are in the layout filenames (so for example RB_WOOD_1_2_4_8) would be £8 jackpot with a £1, £2, £4 and £8 paytable, running the WOOD ROMs (see 'important notes' below).
Concept ROMs are fixed percentages and with this layout (and from now on) I'm listing the percentages in both the ROM name and GAM name.
MAB £15 layout has variable percentages, instructions on how to change are included in a text file with that layout - percentages.txt
    Important notes :
    1) The WOOD ROMs are for flat-top cabinets. These have full lamping of logo and paytable. Random lamps may flicker each spin.
    2) The CASINO ROMs are for dome-top cabinets. The logo and paytables are permanently lit, as they would be on the real machine.
    3) I believe these all to be fully working as released - but I'll be honest, I got a bit overwhelmed with it. There is having a nice variety, and then there is complete overkill which this is. As I've said before though, these were only really intended to be for my personal use, to fill my MFME cabinet up with lots of lo-tech stuff. Any issues at all don't hesitate to send me a personal message, reply to the release thread, or send a carrier pigeon. I would endeavour to fix any mistakes.
    Thanks :

Thanks to the anonymous ROM providers (you know who you are!), and also @loo and @vectra666 for the MAB ROMs from the Super Red BAR layout.
Thanks to @Reg and everyone else here. As much as making this layout nearly tipped me over the edge, emulation and by extension this community does give me an escape which is far healthier than spending real money in arcades .

  4. Concept (Scorpion 2) Super MultiNudge - 20p / £5, 25p / £8 and 30p / £10 4K HDX

Here's a trio layouts for Super MultiNudge by Concept, which oddly runs on Scorpion 2 hardware (as does the later dome-top Casino with the cream artwork!)
I've classed it as a Hybrid DX, due to it not being original artwork - it is using a mix of modified Big 7 (online) artwork, and some bits I've made myself.
    There's layouts for :
    £5 jackpot at 20p play.
    £8 jackpot at 25p play.
£10 jackpot at 30p play, and all the above are set at 90% which is a decent, but not overly nice percentage.
I have however included a text file (switches.txt) showing the DIP switch settings to change stake and percentage - the only issue being that these layouts only support 20p, 25p or 30p. If you change them down to 2p, 5p or 10p play the machine will lock up when you collect the bank due to the second tube / hopper not being supported. I have not implemented it for a couple of reasons - lack of skill, but also my emulation cabinets currently only have £1 payout so not having 10p / 20p payout is fine for me.
These layouts all use the same single ROM file. I've loads of other Super MultiNudge ROMs which look like they should work, but none of them do, so I'm using the original version supplied with @Ploggy's original 2009 DX release. I'll also thank Ploggy here for kindly allowing me to use the technical information from his layout - so all the reel positions, lamp numbers, checkboxes and other bits have come straight from his layout. Which is a lovely little layout and shows off the original artwork. I just fancied making something snazzy for my home cabinets using the artwork I had here!
I've also included the more yellowed, top lit gradient from @Ginge that was provided with my original Big 7 layouts, in case people prefer the look of a fluorescent lit reel gradient, which is more accurate than my standard sunken reel gradient (which I personally like as it hides the jagged edges of reel windows!). The choice is yours
Thanks to @Wizard for the emulator, thanks to everyone who plays and enjoys my layouts, and thanks to those who don't play and can't stand them

  5. Concept Bullion Run - £5, £50, £70 and £100 jackpot 4K DX layouts (variety of stakes and paytables)

Here's a few layouts for Bullion Run by Concept, and way too many ROM variants as usual. I feel like it might be Random Gold without the 'Random'?
I received some artwork from an anonymous member on here (you know who you are, cheers!) and since I quite like this one in real life, it would be a shame not to do a few layouts. There's quite a few ROMs and GAM files included, and the layouts will give ERROR 1 on first opening - to clear that, either use Ctrl+R on your keyboard, or just open and close the layout.
    There's layouts for :
    £5 jackpot (£1/£2/£4/£5 paytable) at 20p play.
    £50 jackpot (£5/£10/£20/£50 paytable) at 30p or 50p play.
    £70 jackpot (£5/£10/£20/£70 paytable) at 30p or 50p play.
    £70 jackpot (£10/£20/£40/£70 paytable) at 50p or £1 play.
and finally £100 jackpot (£10/£20/£40/£100 paytable) at 30p or 50p play.
Bit of a weird mix, but those are the ROMs I have. Hopefully something suitable for most people!
To pick the price of play, and game type you want, load the relevant GAM file. The GAM files are labelled as the following example :
BR_30P_5_10_20_70_SS (where 30P is the stake, 5_10_20_70 is the paytable, and SS is the game type, where FS = FLAT SESSION, SS = SOFT SESSION, FNS = FLAT NON SESSION and SNS = SOFT NON SESSION). From memory my preferred game type is normally SOFT SESSION, giving a mix of wins and mini-runs in the base, and normally being bang-on target percentage by the end of the run.
In theory, SESSION based ROMs will give a run after a fixed amount of credits. To give you an idea, on a SESSION ROM, a 50p £100 jackpot game will go on a run after 3600 credits (£1800 of credits) - this is where the main streak is paid. I honestly don't even know if the SESSION ROMs qualify as 'random'. Perhaps they do randomly allocated wins or mini-runs between the proper runs?
The NON SESSION ROMs do not have a streak that comes around after a fixed amount of credits. This means that - while they should still pay out the same over the long term - they may do periods with huge gaps between runs, and can in theory do back to back runs for some huge streaks. They often seem to play too well from a reset, so be prepared for that!
As always many thanks to the ROM provider(s), the artwork provider, and all the members here at DIF. Thanks to @Wizard for the incredible emulator, and thanks to anyone who plays and enjoys the stuff I release. Any issues don't hesitate to chuck me a PM, or reply to the release thread

  6. Concept Random Reel Magic - £5, £35, £50, £70 and £100 jackpot 4K DX layouts (variety of stakes and paytables)

Here's a few layouts for Random Reel Magic by Concept. I quite like this one, although to be honest it's a pretty simple 3 win game
Apologies for the £35 and £100 top jackpot artwork not being quite accurate - I had to make them from scratch!
    There's layouts for :
£5 jackpot (£1/£2/£5 paytable) at 10p (NON SESSION) or 20p (SESSION) play.
    £35 jackpot (£5/£10/£35 paytable) at 30p play.
    £50 jackpot (£10/£30/£50 paytable) at 30p or 50p play.

  7. Concept (Electrocoin) Bar X 7even - £5 @10/20p, £25 @25p/30p, £35 @30p/50p, £70 @50p, £100 @30p/50p/£1 4K HDX

Here's the latest in my lineup of Electrocoin based machines running Concept ROMs. I actually started these about a year ago - forgot about them between March 2023 and now - and just finished them off. They are my hybrid / modified Bar X 7even Online artwork, running a large combination of ROMs for different stake and prize combinations, as well as different game play types (flat or soft, session or non-session). Basically it's as close to a complete set of Concept Games 3-win layouts, albeit older ROMs than they currently publish. Should be plenty of choice for everyone. I know Concept are not everyone's cup of tea, and these will play a pretty boring game until the run comes around - but it's the best we have at the moment!
    There's layouts for :
    £5 jackpot (£1/£2/£5 paytable) at 10p or 20p play.
    £25 jackpot (£10/£15/£25 paytable) at 25p or 30p play.
    £35 jackpot (£5/£10/£35 paytable) at 30p or 50p play.
    £70 jackpot (£10/£30/£70 paytable) at 50p play.
    and finally £100 jackpot (£10/£30/£100 paytable) at 30p, 50p or £1 play.
To pick the price of play, and game type you want, load the relevant GAM file. The GAM files are labelled as follows :
BX7_50P_10_30_100_SS (where 50p is the stake, 10_30_100 is the paytable, and SS is the game type, where FS = FLAT SESSION, SS = SOFT SESSION, FNS = FLAT NON SESSION and SNS = SOFT NON SESSION). From memory my preferred game type is normally SOFT SESSION, giving a mix of wins and mini-runs in the base, and normally being bang-on target percentage by the end of the run.

These ROMs are released from a RAM RESET. Therefore each game will probably give ERR 01, flash the lights and beep at you when you first load them. To clear the error just reload the layout, or if on a PC, you could just hold CTRL + R and it'll reboot. Once that's been done the machine should work fine from then on.
As always many thanks to the ROM providers, the places I lovingly borrowed the artwork from, and all the members here at DIF. Thanks to @Wizard for the incredible emulator, and thanks to anyone who plays and enjoys the stuff I release

  8. Concept (Electrocoin) BIG 7 - 10 & 20p / £5, 25p / £25 and 50p / £70 (WOOD ROMS) 4K HDX

    ** UPDATE **
SESSION ROMS FOR £25 & £70 NOW WORKING AS INTENDED. NO WORKING £5 SESSION SET YET, BUT THE NON SESSION £5 ROMS REMAIN.
Here's the latest in my lineup of Electrocoin based machines running Concept ROMs.

Big 7 running Concept's 4 win (wood cabinet) ROMs. These differ from the casino cabinet ROMs in that they have lamping for the paytables and machine titles, which the casino ones lack.
There's layouts for £5 (£1/£2/£4/£5 paytable), £25 (£3/£5/£10/£25 paytable) and £70 (£5/£10/£20/£70 paytable). What I've done here is include all the WOOD ROM variants for each machine... so you'll notice multiple '.GAM' files in each download, as well as multiple '.BIN' files (the ROMs themselves).
The '.GAM' files will have the following letters at the end :

    FS (FLAT / SESSION)
    FNS (FLAT / NON SESSION)
    SS (FLAT / SESSION)
    SNS (SOFT / NON SESSION)

The NON SESSION versions of the ROMs (with GAM files ending in SNS or FNS) are the ones that I think people associate with Concept being totally, mind bendingly brutal - they are the versions that can end up way, way behind percentage - and then go utterly batshit crazy. Probably best left to the sadists or people out of curiosity. That's not to say the SESSION ROMs can't also be brutal mind, just typically over a shorter term. Don't forget these are lo-techs - and very simple ones at that. They pay what they want, when they want.
If you find the amount of GAM files too confusing, just delete the ones you aren't interested in
    -----------------
    Reel gradients and masks :
The reel gradients used in these layouts by default are the 'sunken' ones I seem to default to - I like them as they remove the jagged edges where the reel windows are cut out for transparency. However, @Ginge sent a couple of alternative graphics over, which some people may prefer. They simulate a more top-lit (fluorescent tube effect) to the reels, and also some reel masks which are for those who want full on, nicotine stained / aged reels!
The graphics are included with each layout - you need to enter edit mode, open reel properties for each reel, load the gradients and/or masks, and if running the lamps, you need to add lamp values. For lamping based on the SUPER lamps that would normally be above the reels on the wooden cabinets, use numbers 76 (left reel), 75 (middle reel) and 74 (right reel).
I've included a YouTube video if you want to see a quick tutorial on how to do it, taken from a shaky camera phone with wonky autofocus!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmNPb3TyJB4

Hope you enjoy, and thanks go to @Wizard for MFME, @Ginge for testing the base layout, suggestions and reel gradients and masks, @Road Hog Mad for the wonderful artwork he posted on the forum,@Reg for the site, the ROM providers who I don't know if want to be named or remain anonymous, and everyone else here for being awesome

  9. Electrocoins Bar-X £6/10p (using concept roms) Dx

just clearing the wip file and releasing this to coincide with @slotsmagic's brilliant trilogy of bar-x's
Thanks goto @slotsmagic for adding the £6 concept roms within my older bar-x artwork
like his previous releases this suffers from slight lamp flash not sure why but still plays a good game
the Autoplay button is actually the transfer credits, but not sure if the meters are set up for the transfer option, so you could disable it or turn it back to the Autoplay feature which incidentally is the Start Button held down
still on the lookout for the original bar-x £6/£2 roms @20p a go
Enjoy, this like slotsmagic's releases and its another to add to you collection, Happy Gaming!!!

  10. Concept (Electrocoin) Super BAR X - 20p / £8T, 25p / £25 and 50p / £70 4K HDX

Right then, these should be ready for a bit of weekend play. Few things to note though :
    1) You'll probably notice that random lights flicker every spin - that seems to be a ROM / emulator issue. I'm quite used to it and don't mind it, but it's a side effect of using these 'Wood' ROMs.
    2) Speaking of which, I had no idea the £8 set was TOKEN payout until a few minutes ago. I could have sworn when I tested these layouts they were all cash - but alas not that one. I can't find a token entry via the button matrix, and pretty much have left it as a curiosity to make up the trio. It plays fine, I just play with £1 coin entry (keyboard button 0) and forget it's tokens apart from the fact it takes a while to pay out.
    3) The Casino cabinet ROMs should run with fewer issues and WAY more paytable / price of play options. BUT they also have bugger all lighting. Since I had the Super Bar X art here I decided to go with the ROMs that utilise the extra lamps. On a casino cab I'm pretty sure the only lamps on Bar X are nudges and buttons. That's it.
    4) The layouts are all released as RAM RESET, therefore they might take a while to start playing well - nature of the beast really. Seemed a bit silly me buzzing up some lo-techs before release. They will get to percentage fine, they might start off slow and then go on a run to catch up.
Obviously these are Concept Games ROMs - they have extra features that normal Bar X ROMs don't. They can whistle / extra nudge being the most obvious one.
Many thanks to @Ginge for playtesting the £70 version I had, and pointing out a few things. Also for helping me work out hopper motors earlier in the layout development.
Thanks again to the ROM providers who provided these goodies for me to play with!
Hopefully these versions are totally issue free (apart from the effing Token ROM debacle) but any problems let me know and I'll sort them.
Notes supplied with layouts are attached below, they also load with better formatting when you open the layouts.

  11. Concept (Electrocoin) Magic 10 - 20p / £10, 30p / £35 and 50p / £100 4K HDX

Well here's a few lo-techs for people to play with. As per the WIP thread, I've got more artwork to play about with and will probably release a trio of Bar X (Concept) layouts soon. These will tide me over for now though!
Hopefully they are all running correctly. If not please do let me know. It would be typical of me to make mistakes on the simplest of machines
Massive thanks to the original ROM providers. Not sure if they want to be named but they were both amazing and as divisive as these are, they are just what I need to keep me out of the arcades. I really only play lo-techs these days, and these will be perfect running in my cabinet when I get off my arse and finish it!
Layouts have only been tested by myself, I passed a few copies about but people were busy. I've only tested them on the gaming rig that I built just before Christmas, so hopefully they run fine for other people. No blended lamps but 4K resolution, large reels and large lamps might make them chug.
Anyway, thanks for reading, and hope you enjoy!

  12. Concept Games Dance With The Devil £1/£100 Wdx

Been enjoying these games after slagging them off the other week, so decided to have a mooch and see what art and roms i could find for these games. Here's the first layout of the few I'm gonna work on, it's a clone of celtic gold which was a clone of random gold etc. Has a slight game change though to the usual dead nudges and endless two holds and never a third. If it holds the wind normally drops in it very rarely misses but does. Artwork wasn't a great size to work with, I've ended up with what was formally a large layout at 1280 looks tiny compared to todays offerings, everything's clear enough to play etc, had to redraw the reel symbols as couldn't find any decent images about.
Thanks to the rom provider and to the late wizard for the new mfme.

However, it was always planned as it was on the YouTube channel to be released so if you like this game - enjoy.

Many thanks for DADsFME for providing this ( and many other roms ) that can be used to upgrade and downgrade layouts such as this.  Now I am over the shock, whoever the original rom provider is, I thank you very much.  It is without people like you that work behind the scenes to support us that give us the chance to do this and I know you'll be really pleased to see your efforts put to good use like this - after all - that is why they were shared.
With hindsight - I should not have been so annoyed about it - as the original provider has saved me a fair bit of money long term now - again, I thank them very much as you've actually now saved me future money.  Nice one ( in the words of Markie ).

  17. Random Gold

Was not going to release this after purchasing the roms for a release after the Concept rom flood as these cost a lot of money to buy - thought sod it as in a better mood now.
However, it was always planned as it was on the YouTube channel to be released so if you like this game - enjoy.
