  1. Cut Throat Cash

    Cut Throat Cash
    A Global Games machine on Epoch Tech
    £5 Jackpot 10p play, 90% Payout
    My first £5 layout.
    This is a 99.9% clone of Cannonball Run, made for the £5 market, but the roms will go up to £25 Jackpot. Layout is unlocked and for reference, lamp numbers are the same, so if any pictures are present an easy £25 classic could be created or if good enough pictures a £25 DX.
    Sound roms from Cannonball Run a perfect fit, so may have even been used for the real machine itself.
    KEYS:
    Cancel = ` Hold Buttons 1-3 = 1-3, Collect = C, Auto Nudge = N, Start = Space
    Take Cash = H, Take Feature = F, Take Pot (take on layout) = P, Shuffle = E
    Left Hi = Q Left Lo = A Right Hi = W Right Lo = S Insert £1 = 0

    THANKS TO:
    Wizard (may he RIP) for the wonderful MFME
    Vecs for the reels from Cannonball Run, a huge time saver
    Char042102 & Johnny AFC for some pictures to go by, another huge time saver.
    The rom provider for both program and sounds (sounds from Cannonball Run)
    Global Games for leaving FME alone.

  2. Round The Twist

    Round The Twist by Impulse Gaming.
    Epoch Tech 30p, £25 Jackpot, 82% Payout
    THIS LAYOUT IS MUTE
    The machine is a complete clone of Spin N Tonic, as helpfully pointed out by forum member PekoJPF.  It's an Oliver Twist themed machine, as one of the lamps I haven't lamped, but have left to the side is named Oliver and also features bowls of gruel.
    I have set it out as per johnnys classic of Spin N Tonic. Unfortunately the Spin N Tonice, sound roms are a bad match for this machine though.
    Thanks to
    WIZARD (RIP), FOR MFME
    Johnnyafc for the number and cash reels from Spin N Tonic
    The rom provider
    Impulse Gaming and whoever owns them now, for leaving the FME alone.
    KEYS: CANCEL/TAKE = ` HOLD 1 = 1, HOLD 2/HI = 2, HOLD 3/LO = 3, AUTO NUDGE = A, XCHANGE = E, START = SPACE, INSERT £1 = 0
    TAKE GREEN FEATURE = G, TAKE YELLOW FEATURE = F, TAKE STREAK = S, TAKE CASH = C, TAKE CASHPOT = P

  3. Cheque Mate

    Here's Cheque Mate £25, 30p 88%.
    Another Impact machine, that was previously only on Jpemu.
    I tried to make this as black and white, to follow the chess theme, but too much white/black doesn't make for a good looking layout.
    Thanks firstly this time to Johnnyafc for the Jpemu version, this enabled me to get it done quicker and also have the reels for the machine.
    Thanks to Wizard for MFME and to the rom provider.

  4. Holy Smoke Classic

    Holy Smoke.
    An Impulse Gaming machine on Epoch Tech.
    30p Play, £25 Jackpot, 88% payout
    This layout is NOT mute.
    A little bit rough and ready and not how I would do it from scratch now, but I think 16 months, is enough for a WIP and hopefully a DX will now follow.
    I've play tested it quite a bit to get the top amounts, but the placement of the amounts may not be correct, but I believe the amounts are. Due to the large gap between producing it, there may be the odd things that is wrong, but nothing has shown up in the 2 hours I played it this morning.
    KEYS:
    ' = Collect/Cancel, 1 = Hold 1, 2 = Hold 2/Hi, 3= Hold 3/Lo, A = Auto Nudge, X/E = Xchange
    Space = Start 0 = Insert £1, F = Take Feature, C = Take Cash
    Thanks to Wizard RIP, for the mesmerising MFME.
    Thanks in particular to Loo for the sound roms, a rarity for Epoch machines it seems.
    Thanks to the program rom provider.
    Thanks to the FMEDB and Tommy C for pictures/flyers.
    Thanks to Impulse Gaming and whoever owns them now for leaving FME alone.

  5. Global Trotter (Impulse) Classic

    Globe Trotter
    An Impulse Gaming machine on Epoch tech.
    £25 Jackpot, 30p play, 82% payout.
    THIS LAYOUT IS MUTE. No pictures of machine available, so not a real representation of the machine.
    Gameplay:
    The middle reel hi-lo will add to the Cash and Feature stacks. The colour and suits of the cards are irrelevant.
    The upper reel spins each hi-lo guess and adds supers to cash/features as well as passports, streaks, nudges and reel blasts.
    It should have some sort of clock hands, as it shows 1 O'clock 2, O'clock in the test mode. So if the number is 11 it will add to whatever is at position 11 O'clock on the rings. The inner ring is open straight away, then passports open the outer ring and then collecting them again opens both rings, at the same time.
    Keyboard Shortcuts:
    0= Insert £1 '= Cancel, 1-3 Holds 1-3, E = Exchange, N = Auto Nudge, Space=Start
    Q = Left Hi, A= Left Lo, W = Right Hi, S= Right Lo.
    T = Take Nudges, B = Take Reel Blasts
    Thanks to:
    Wizard (RIP) for the MFME emulator

  6. Hot Dogs (Impulse Gaming)

    Hot Dogs
    £25 Jackpot, 25p play, 82% Payout
    An Impulse Gaming machine on Epoch Tech
    THIS LAYOUT IS MUTE
    Again I have no pictures to go by, so will not 100% represent the layout of the real machine.
    KEYS:
    0= Insert £1
    ' = Cancel/Collect, 1-3 = Holds 1-3, A/N = Auto Nudge, E/X= Xchange, Space= Start
    P= Picks, L= Step Left, R= Step Right, M/U = Move Up
    STREAKS:
    1 Bone = 1 Streak symbol
    3 streaks available, Orange (will be white on real machine), Blue, Red.
    Red is the top streak.
    Upon entering feature, it's possible for the red streak to stretch the whole line of streak symbols, if in a jackpot ready mood, so just 1 bone = Red Streak.
    The reverse, if the first streak lamp isn't orange (can be first two lamps if in bad mood), then it means a minimum of 2 or 3 bones needed for the first streak to become available.
    Thanks to:
    Wizard (RIP) for the fantastic MFME

  8. Survival - Starring..................

    Survival - Starring me, wearecity as the face.
    A Maygay machine on Epoch Tech.
    30P Play, £25 Jackpot, 82% Payout.
    Unfortunately this layout is mute. No art resources available, so it will not be a replication of the real machine.
    Win series chance button -  The alpha says, take spins. When the button is pressed,  it simply goes through the the no's lamps and either gives the win series or if it doesn't, the feature continues. There doesn't appear to be any representation of what you need to land on or light to be awarded the series. I've left components off screen to the right of the layout, if someone wants to take a look. Something I've missed or perhaps something not implemented in the emulator.
    The machine has a couple of little quirks.
    If you land on skill stop on the feature, you can use cancel as usual, but also any of the hold buttons to have it focus on just features, faces, cash.
    Sometimes when you lose a gamble on the cash amount at the bottom and thus fail to get on the feature, you are awarded a consolation prize.
    Pressing the cancel button several times when you get get skill continue, put the word continue into lower case, perhaps a bug or perhaps, some people may find it easier to hit lower case, than upper case letters on skill.
    KEYS: '=CANCEL, 1=HOLD 1, 2=HOLD 2/HI, 3=HOLD 3/LO, C=COLLECT
    E=EXCHANGE, SPACE = START, F = COLLECT FEATURE
    W = WIN SERIES CHANCE, T= COLLECT CASH
    THANKS TO WIZARD, MAY YOU RIP, FOR THE WONDERFUL MFME EMULATOR, NEVER FORGOTTEN.
    Thanks to the rom provider, the main reels providers/producers (obtained from different layouts)
    Thanks to Maygay (and whoever owns them now) for leaving the FME scene alone.

  9. Stepping Stones Classic

    Stepping Stones
    A Maygay machine on Epoch Tech
    £15 Jackpot, 30p Play, 82% Payout
    THIS LAYOUT IS MUTE
    Not seen a machine with this gameplay before. Fill one of the 4 trails to get into the feature or same colour numbers on reels. Filling up a trail during a feature, means the trail is then an extra life, so you could get up to 4 extra lives at one time. It makes you think about how best to use nudges, when on the feature, rather than just nudge carelessly.
    Unfortunately it's by Maygay, which means it's another one of their clunky feeling Epoch machines, rather than nice and smooth.
    Wasn't sure how to lay this out, but then no one knows what the real machine looks like, so what the hell lol.
    KEYS:
    0 = INSERT £1, ` = Cancel, 1 = Hold 1, 2 = Hold 2/Hi, 3=Hold 3/Lo
    C = Collect, E = Exchange, Space = Start
    T = Take Cash, F = Take Feature
    THANKS TO:

  10. Spectre Classic

    Spectre
    A Maygay Epoch tech machine £15 Jackpot, 30p play, 82% Payout
    THIS LAYOUT IS MUTE.
    Decided not to hold on to this, you can't polish a turd as they say.
    Everything is in the right place AFAIK, some feature names are made up, because they don't display on the alpha when you collect them. There's no trail held lamp as far as I can tell, but the machine name is the trail and flashes when it holds.
    I don't think there is really anything special about this machine, it seems to be just another run of the mill Maygay Epoch release in an ugly cabinet.
    KEYS:
    '=Cancel, 1=Hold 1, 2=Hold 2/Hi, 3= Hold 3/Lo, C=Collect, E=Exchange, Space=Start, T=Take Cash, G=Take Ghost Run.
    Thanks to:
    Wizard (rip) for the amazing MFME emulator.
    Infection for the image to go by.
    Vectra for suggestions.
    The rom provider.
    Maygay for leaving the FME scene alone.
