  1. Okay, it seems all I had to do was let a machine boot fully (slowdown and all) and the problem is mostly resolved, there's still some slowdown, but it's negligible. (Thanks for the advice regardless though)
  2. Well now I've got a new problem. Arcade Simulator no longer black-screens on boot up and I can load in the arcade just fine, but now when I try to start any machine... Game slows down drastically.
  3. Is it just me? Or is this thread blurring the lines between Desert Island Fruits and the Gentlemen's Pixel Club? Failure to work aside, this project is outright incredible! First UK fruit machines, now Foreign fruit machine, then 80s Arcade games?! What's next? Rhythm Games? (Pop 'n' Music) Fighting Games? (Street Fighter) Racing Games? (Outrun) Medal Games? (Dragon Treasure III) If SEGA notices this project and it's potential I'm sure the future will be very bright!
  4. yep... that's exactly what it's come down to. When's a good time for you to TeamViewer?
  5. Good News! I just returned home today booted up Arcade Simulator and... IT'S ALIVE! ALLIVE I TELL YOU!
  6. Actually, the weather over here is all over the place, sometimes it's hot as hell and other times it's overcast and sometimes rainy.
  7. I hope so, though what will buy you more time is the fact that I'm heading over to Sydney on holiday for (hopefully) 2 weeks.
  8. While I don't really like the older machines (due to them being really simple) this DX looks like it came fresh from the factory!
  9. It do seem like dat doe Jokes aside, I don't really have any intentions on playing online slots because A. before Degsy shut down his YouTube channel he was my way of seeing the RTP fall live, and B. I see online slots as the same generic CTRL+C CTRL+V game... over and over and over.
  10. Thanks for the suggestion, but for all this good it does me because for some reason the folder doesn't exist in my download.
  11. @johnparker007...still, black screening. I'm sorry if this is (and most likely) getting annoying on your end, but after a 2nd uninstall-reinstall I'm still getting the black screens. I was originally going to ask when would be a good time to go to TeamViewer, but i realised as I was typing this message, I could try a 3rd uninstall reinstall and video the whole process. Here is that video:
  12. Ah, lovely, I just booted up Arcade Simulator and... Black Screen! (is this the new red screen from the Atari Jaguar CD?) Anyways, here's the debug log:
  13. If there's one thing I've learned from subreddits like r/facepalm and r/there was an attempt; it would be the internet in general is really stupid, as it mainly consists of young teenagers which will get offended at anything... myself included in a sense. These people vary in pretty much the same way you described from the insecure people just trying to threaten you for the sake of doing so just to make themselves feel more powerful than a old guy (like really kid? that's just not fair), these people can be easily avoided. But then there's the other side of the coin, the hackers, these kids are just waiting for the right information to drop so that they can effectively dox you, and from what I remember from your videos the info you let loose could be enough for someone to dox you, THAT'S where things get serious. Now luckily enough from what you've said no one's doxed you but that doesn't mean that hacking an account is a small thing, it isn't, and your Google account at that? (who doesn't use Google) While I'm not exactly happy with your decision overall as it feels a bit nuclear (extreme), I can understand why you did it in the first place. It's situations like these that make me wish that YouTube had some form of privacy setting in-between "public" and "unlisted" where initially they would show up as a private video showing the message "you need to become a member for this channel to see it's content" note that the threshold to becoming a member doesn't have to be a monetary contribution, it could be say a constantly changing password which you PM to someone over say DIF, or it could be a series of questions guided towards FME, that's just my theory but it feels a heck of a lot better than getting rid of dislikes. Anyways, it's sorry to see the channel go, but as people were basically one step away from doxing you, your hands were practically tied. From Brendo/the_bionic_beast さいよならデグジーさん
  14. I don't see why not. When would suit you best?
  15. Finders Crossed alright I made a comment back when this project was still just 3 reels and a light (the very beginning and while I had my Brendo account) and that statement is still true to this very day with eye candy additions such as bloom.
  16. I tried that even deleting as many MFME folders I could and guess what?... Black Screen!
  17. Okay, after whitelisting Arcade Simulator, guess what?... Black Screen! Here's another debug screenshot:
  18. Alright, I just tried it and... black screen, the Antivirus software I'm using is AVG AntiVirus Free.
  19. Here's the debug report This also confirms that it was a soft lock
  20. Hey there, bug report: So when I was trying to boot up arcade simulator it goes through the usual installer checks of installing anything from the website that needs to be, but then it does it again much quicker this time and then black screen: by this point (I think) this software has completely soft locked. Any ideas on what's going on here? Also this was after the usual uninstall/reinstall process so I don't think it's that.
  21. Is it weird that I prefer Reflexes as my preferred 100 pound poison over Betcoms?
The fact that you turned a slightly angled photo with giant photo lights (the angle would have been fine MRM does that all the time and I'm fine with it) to a straight-forward DX without the flashes is really cool!
  22. I don't think that's the case, if it was an alpha glitch then the machine wouldn't soft-lock i don't have the video because I'm a moron but trust me, it did soft lock trying to find a number somewhere in the stratosphere, also I don't think the machine ever intended all the hi-lo lights to be on at the same time.
  23. Okay so seemingly out of nowhere when I booted up MDM's Final Frontier this happened: I have no idea how this happened but it seems the Hi-Lo lights went to all sorts of shenanigans outputting bonkers numbers like 6545 that you see in the image instead of the usual 1-10. I wish I had gotten a feature instead of a hi-lo gamble so I could see the hilarious board moves. Why? Because after a while of selecting a number for the hi-lo gamble the machine just stops advancing the lights softlocking the machine, reseting the game corrects this glitch.
