  1. There's a few that deserve a run out. Do You Feel Lucky certainly does. Also Arcadia with the missing Shoot Em Up rom. Then It's Showtime with the flashing golden star for Super Features.
  2. Pure Madness was a dangerous game to play. The note acceptor would still be lit even if there was only a few coins left in the hopper. These were the type of games where you had to know the state of play and how much it had paid. Similar to the Empire Gold Run.
  3. Which Rocket Money though? There was a Barcrest and a Red Gaming variant. I think we know which one it is!
  4. Always try it on cherries on the £5 version as I mentioned above
  5. I never really understood why pubs moaned about players buying glasses of coke. Surely they made more money charging nearly £2 for a glass of coke than they did with the alcohol!
  6. This method is very good. There were times when I played a £5 machine that was a long way from the streak. I managed to get a lot of these 7s and cherries wins waiting for the streak to come round and still made a small profit from a machine that would have cost over £100 for the £35/£40 streak.
  7. To be honest, I also never knew about the empty degsy showed on his video. I thought that empty only worked on a machine called Cherry Bar. I even tried it myself on a £5 Super Multi Nudge but it didn't work. It only gave the normal £35 or £40 run. As far as this holding 1 reel method goes, I have never seen another video showing it. There were still a few about in arcades. Only £5 jackpots but these were still good earners. In some cases the best machine in the arcade because there were not many people at all who knew about this method. The one I know about actually has a shortened hopper! The arcade must have got fed up with us doing the method because they made it a £20 hopper or something like that now!
  8. You know it's often say red 7 on the first reel and after the second hold a melon spins in the middle. Well the melons 3 holding (because you are refusing hold melon wins) makes the machine able to hold a 3rd time for the method to work. If you see what I mean.
  9. I'm typing as I'm watching your video, but £5 Super Multi Nudges are good for this method too. You can potentially make £40 or £50 if you get a lot of 7s or cherry wins spin in.
  10. Definitely take the 7s or cherries again if it holds on the win.
  11. Yes it's the method I used which I mentioned above. You need melons or bars to be 3 holding to make this method work. Or melons and bars holding after nudge also helps.
  12. Exactly what I have thought about this machine too! I would imagine there are a few £5 jackpots about still. You mean holding either the first reel or the middle reel and the other reel matches which gives it a chance to also spin in on the 3rd reel.
  13. Hot Shot was probably one of the best for 3 holds on the right program.
  14. The £70 version is much less complicated than the £35 version to get a Mega Streak. Most of the top features have been changed around. Just a short video showing a very easy route to Mega Streak. The machine had a lot of value in it.
  15. This video shows how to get the Mega Streak from the later £35 program which ended up in all the pubs. Slightly different way to get the Give Us A Clue feature from the red lines as higher than 11 won't work. Plus the wedge trick on the feature doesn't work so it's now just pure skill.
  16. Been having a long playing session on Vectra's Cluedo layout. Here is a short video showing the easy way to get Jackpot which I explained in a game play guide available for download in the Cluedo release thread. I'm mainly playing for the red lines for the Give Us A Clue feature. I always call them "red lines" because that's what they are on the other clones but on Cluedo they are really red boxes. In the video you can see how the "wedge" works for Jackpot which means just keep the button pressed down. The final spin is skill for the Mega Streak.
  17. You can tell the empty program by the speed it pays the bank out. I said above the fast pay out is unchipped but I might have got that the wrong way round. Been a long time!
  18. This was one of the machines that I was looking to make a video for too. Unfortunately we don't seem to have the fast pay out roms which is the program the empty works on. The Simpsons is another machine I wanted to do, but we don't have the streak program roms.
  19. Another machine not mentioned yet is Flash Cash. That was quite a rare game too.
  20. I came across a Weird Wolf in the wild once. The rare Barcrest machine I mean! You can actually play these using the Vivid method. Gamble the cash wins to jackpot then get a couple of jackpots on the feature board. I used to do this with a Shark Raving Mad in an arcade and it was decent profit.
  21. I noticed the JPM gallery ends with the machines beginning with S. So it's missing machines such as Super Breakout, Tomb Raider and Viva Rock Vegas.
  22. A lot of Barcrests do the chr error alarm when you have different jackpot roms. Let The Good Times Roll £15 roms does the error in the £10 layout. With cash/token machines, I have found some roms give different results in different layouts of the same machine. This must be something to do with the configuration settings in the layouts. Or it could be the roms have for example £8 tokens jackpot and £4 cash jackpot settings. JPM SYS5 Popeye roms give different results in the different layouts.
  23. To be fair Right Time Right Deal is one of the more uninteresting DONDs out there! What's In Your Box is a much more interesting and strategic game that hasn't received a DX as of yet.
  24. I think I left it for a couple of minutes but the strim alarm didn't go away. From memory I think it was the 192 roms.
