  1. Thank you, your right It's a front end for MFME
  2. Sounds like it was a lot of work @vectra666 for yourself and everyone involved, but it turned out great !!! Amazing work as always, its a pleasure to load your releases into my virtual arcade,
  3. Anyone have any answer for this one ?
  4. @bungle I put the site back online and will update the release on the site shortly as I said maybe one or two issues but nothing major but it does include a few extras not in the older version, I'm sure I will need to write more details on how to do certain things as there are lots of hidden extra's in this one. If you find an issue let me know, currently running this release in my cabinet so if I find any issues I will probably fix them pretty quick. fruitmachine.hopto.org The Dynamic address above should be good for a month or so if anyone wants anything from the site you are free to grab it now, that doesn't mean the graphics are available for other people trying to get images for a different frontend, please respect a lot of work went into these images and this software so no stealing !!
  5. It's in the virtual arcade, many thanks Mavroz !
  6. I'm using the new version, not sure I have actually given it out as a public build but think there are few people using it. You might notice the layout is completely different from the older release like the top graphics being at the bottom etc, Think there a few bugs in it that need resolving but nothing major,
  7. Just wondering if the cash strikes number box should be next to the cash strike button these two buttons seem reversed as they don't line up, but great work
  8. Brilliant work @bungle it's in the virtual arcade already !
  9. Great work Vec's you just know its going in my virtual arcade !
  10. Breaking from traditional view to show that you can simply put things where you want them. Funny enough the center logo as shown does not allow it to be increased in size as it zooms with the view of the cabinets but I think I might have to add this features, normally these logo images sit above my cabinet views but moved it down for this image.
  11. There is never a stupid question, The program has a dynamic layout you place things where you want them type of thing, zoom things how and where you want them. Want to see touch controls or remove them, see statistics or you don't you just turn things on or off. There are lots more options than people know it's just a case of setting everything up which does take time. The later release has a web based side panel where you can place an animated gif, video, etc or basically anything you want too. So to answer your question you can run it in landscape like my image shows or you can run it portrait just a case of building your own view. The website, I didn't renew the domain name but the site contains a thousand or so images uploaded by people who use fruitbar as well as my own images used within this program. The views shown are the actual play screens, sometimes I think people wonder if they are real but that answer is yes they are 100% real no mock ups here.
  12. My last release kind of went quiet so thought I would ask if anyone had any issues with it ? Thought I better ask as no one pointed out any issues and its been a few months.
  13. Many thanks Vecs, another one for the arcade !!
  14. Sorry I did change that window a little, think its trying to go center between both screens will take a peek at it later.
  15. Sorry for so many zip files, I have re-added the auto update code back into the program This release has a fix on the jackpot values and also has the code for doing the updates so it means it checks for new versions when you run the program, This just makes it simple so everyone has the same version and i dont have to post it online ! fruitbar.zip
  16. Your welcome Dave, this has lots of hidden extra's but fully functional if you know how to set them up. It has he settings that can be made semi transparent and allow you to move the different components around the screen to get the view you want. It also includes some fixes that I never got around to doing. Its not finished but certainly better than the older version everyone is using. Merry Christmas !
  17. Been busy sorting a few things.... should be good to go now. FruitBar24-12-2022.zip
  18. Just figuring out a possible issue with Windows 11, nice eh !
  19. Happy Christmas everyone, here is a somewhat updated released not completed all the work I wanted too but there quite a few new things in this release. Lets call this version a test release simply because I normally give this release out to a couple of people to test it prior to a bigger release. Yes this one has the screen update and lots of other bits and bobs, if you have any issues let me know as I said its a tester version. You will notice this version on the slightly updated loading screen so you will be able to tell the difference, its has colour ! The previous version will not self update so this is the actual latest release build, zip file included. Fruitbar-23-12-2022.zip
  20. Thought I would show a video how simple it is to now configure your screen layout, simple turn on the crosshairs increase the transparency and move things around on the fly. I always wanted to add this feature but never had the time until now. Now showing the touch controls but you already know you can move them to where you want them.
  21. I need to finish the configuration screen section and then delve into the web panel, not sure how to do this currently I could just host all the web panels, media etc so no config required depending on the naming, but not sure on this currently im open to suggestions. Hosting the panels costs pound notes but sorting your own media for the panel costs time, not sure if people would like the media panel? Did a few other updates in the background, a few fixes too. No release targets yet but its getting there,
  22. One thing that needed updating was the ability to setup your screen configuration on the fly, So you can make settings semi transparent with crosshairs and move things as you view them of course you can alter the zoom level to. One of a few new things that has been done. Any suggestions of what else to add let me know.
  23. Finally booted up the development again..... My cabinet used to live in my converted office for some time and it was really difficult to do any real work on it... But things changed and this cabinet and my other one are now within easy reach to complete the updates i wanted to do so I have jumped back on the development to get a few things sorted. I did add the side panel which is basically web enabled playing videos and things... I have not decided on a final look for the panel but its web so anything is possible. I know not everyone is a web developer so the ideal is the program will create a standard template for all your roms, you can of course edit any of these files to modify the panel as shown on the left side. Maybe a selection of templates, who knows.... During my break from this development one thing seems to come back from time to time and that is the difficulty that it can take to setup the different images and things so it displays like mine. One thing that was always difficult to sort out was the file naming what I mean is how do i know that all the roms are named the same so for example if I setup a system to sync all your files for a rom so you just click and it downloads all the top image, back image, video panel, etc how do i know everyone with the same rom will get the right files... ? I guess the simple answer is for me to start creating a catalogue of file names so when you add a correctly named rom the system could sync all the files for that rom. From my perspective this would take some time to setup, develop and time to create all the images, videos, top banners, etc but I think it would prove beneficial and certainly speed up the installation and configuration of FruitBar. Just thought I would put that syncing bit out there and see what comes back ! The main reason for the post is to say my windows pc has been booted and I will be doing some work on it, I will be buying another windows laptop soon which will speed up the development a bit too ! Comments, questions, queries are all welcomed !
  24. Many thanks Vec's great work as always hope the back starts to feel better, I would take some meds !
