niallquinn Posted April 29, 2020 Report Share Posted April 29, 2020 (edited) I'm 49 in September. When all this started I was 29, and reading mulptiple forums many times daily, was a piece of cake. Now is it just me, now 20 years later, we've only 4 forums really, (One that's cack, one thats more the electronic/electomechincal side, one good but quiet (Dads), and here, where it's bat shit crazy with loads of posts) and I'm only reading one, namely here, and I can't cope. Back in the day used to comment on everything, now I want to comment, but just look at all the posts and think, "I haven't the time". Yet years ago, it was far far busier, and we managed. And we had IRC, Newsgroups, real chats on the phone, other forums, real meet ups, being pissed 24/7, stoned, tabs, substances, work, lasses, family etc. Now I read two threads, and say "that's me done for today", 20 years ago I'd have stayed up all night to read stuff.
