My "consecutive losing spins" experiment - PART 2

I decided to push the limits on the more recent layouts by knocking back as many feature boards and non-jackpot wins as possible before I couldn't do it anymore, and here's what I found. All of these machines are played at the maximum stake.

Alice's Wonderland (Reflex; £70/£1) - I don't know how much I put in this machine already, but I've forced it so much that each Cash/Feature board adds 7-8 spaces and each Hat awards 4-5 hats. Unlike newer Reflex machines, this machine didn't give a RAM error after putting thousands of credits in with no payout.

Bottle Bank (Vivid; £25/30p) - This machine immediately gave a feature win on startup and locks me into the invincible board after a couple hundred quid in.

Clown In Around (BWB; £5/10p) - Unlike most other machines that give me an Invincible board before I could roll the dice, this one seems to give me one right in the middle of the feature. Also, the star trail fills up quite quickly even on a normal feature.

Hi Roller (Bellfruit; £500/£10) - This shouldn't count but I had to do it as I was curious about how it's going to maintain its payout percentage. To my surprise, they somehow rigged video poker. For example, if I get a two pair on the first draw, and I hold a losing combination, it will always be another two pair or above. Sometimes, it will also award a random bonus (one time I received £500 from this bonus alone).

Lockbuster (Bellfruit; £25/30p) - I was about to give up and revert to normal gameplay after about £500 in, but when I got a Red Streak for the first time, it awarded me a £200 run.

London Underground (Maygay; £15/25p) - After about £100 in, it gave a  "????????" board what I assume is a invincible board, but after a non-jackpot win, I was not able to get it ever since.

Monopoly 60th Anniversary (JPM; £10/20p) - I put around £200 in and it immediately spun Double Bars. After a couple of losing gambles, it then immediately spun Triple Bars for the top prize.

Motorway Mania (Bellfruit; £15/25p) - After about £100 in, it starts an Invincible board where I only land on cash spaces until the jackpot is reached.

Nickelodeon (Barcrest; £6 token/20p) - At around £50 in, the machine starts to give nudges almost every spin and very common Hold After Nudges. I've forced it for so long that at one point all the winning combinations are maxed out to £6 (which then resets to their usual win amounts after some spins).

Reel Deal (Empire; £70/£1) - It spun in a jackpot every time, similar to some of JPM's machines (I was playing it on Demo Mode the moment it does that).

Streaks Ahead (and its clones) (QPS; £25/25p) - At about £50 in, it gave an Invincible board. I was not able to land on any other space in the feature except for the Cash space. However, restarting the machine kinda resets the pot as I was not able to get another invincible board again until another £50 in.

Sunburst (BWB; £6/20p) - Same story as Reno Reels, except the Hi-Lo gamble will almost always be in my favor.

Super Bar X (Electrocoin/Concept; £70/50p) - I put around £600 in and this is where Hold After Nudges become more frequent. Sometimes, it may spin in the jackpot without me even holding or nudging to them.

Wild Jackpots (QPS; £35/50p) - After about £600 in, the machine will always spin a jackpot. However, I still get a regular feature board and only get an Invincible board about once every 15 features.

With regards to your experiment on Super Bar X (Concept) - when I was running my real Electrocoin machines in the garage, it was suggested to try forcing. Some ROMs responsed better than others. Celtic Gold £100 ROMs went absolutely batshit mental. Nearly every spin was trying to force a win on, it was actually difficult to play because nearly every spin was offering a hold (and on Celtic Gold nearly every hold is a win - it's a slight difference it has compared to Electrocoin Magic 7 / BX7 e.t.c - first hold is normally a win but second hold seems to guarantee the win). I certainly don't recommend trying it in the wild. Surprised there is no classic layout for Celtic Gold. I ought to cobble one together so people can see what I mean.

As for what you've described above @TheSecondLugia - it's basically a force, albeit taken to the extreme! I'm surprised that you are surprised that video poker is rigged. In the UK most games were compensated (the prizes the player is offered based on previous play) rather than random. I'm not sure we have any random poker games in the UK. Roulette is normally 'random' but even then it's not normally the same as the odds displayed (normally 90-92% even if the wheel layout would suggest 97.3% or whatever the normal roulette RTP would be). Yes, there is compensated roulette too. I've owned / still own compensated roulette machines.

Many JPM machines will just spin the jackpot symbols in eventually if you force them and don't collect any wins.

Although forcing JPM's was not the way to play them in the wild as they just did not like the force, unlike say barcrests of this era that loved the force method.

I think the later ones were more responsive to it, although I never actually intentionally forced them from memory, they just seemed to roll a JP in if I knocked back some dead boards. Normally took the jackpot roll-in as a bit of an insult, like the machine was disappointed in my ability and/or took pity on me!

That's normal for Electrocoin, it's not a case of forcing - more a case of having to play through the dead periods to get the run at the end :)
