  1. Hi in preferences in MFME check that the monitor size is correct for your set up and also make sure you have not got the option override layout size and position ticked then load up the game and see if it works then, i have this layout and i don't have this issue
  2. Hi Almost any of the 70's, 80s, early 90s machines we have emulated here will provide you with some fun play, better than anything your going to find out there in wild these days that's for sure welcome to the site, if you are looking for some further ideas take a look at my you tube channel which is is all about emulated machines the link is below please excuse my plug here. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeFA-PaFtlpee_GQI5I9Lpg
  3. Although forcing JPM's was not the way to play them in the wild as they just did not like the force, unlike say barcrests of this era that loved the force method.
  4. The version from this site is fine to install and has been downloaded many times with no issues, i am guessing your Mcafee is being a little to strong, i would suggest waiting until you can download again and turning it off to allow you to download, if you don't want to wait then making a donation to the site will get you a whole year of unlimited downloading, and i would guess that once you have the emulator up and running your going to want to download many of the layouts for the emulator this may be your best option, you can donate as little as £10 how much fun would this get you on a real machine. Cliff
  5. No you just need to make a couple of posts you can make new ones or join in with existing ones or if you want faster access you could make a donation to the site for 1 years unlimited downloads
  6. If you use V20 of the emulator then download the layout from the legacy section the roms will automatically download into the game for you and the game will run.
  7. For me its a Black Box machine comes in 2 versions 5p/£1 token this was called Upstairs and Downstairs and the 10p / £2 version which was called Reel Gambler the machine is the same just name and prize stake difference this the one machine i would love to see emulated in either versions or both, i know from videos on you tube that there is some one out there with a Reel Gambler but don't know if we have the resources.
  8. Nope you are certainly not, its the only actual xmas themed reel based I can remember, of course if you never played in a Nobles arcade then you would never have seen one.
  9. I remember Nobles arcades did a Xmas themed machine in the super Red Bar / Super Bat 7s cabs with new reel bands and wins this was on £10 all cash i dont think they changed the programs in them just the reel symbols and a new back and reel glass, the machines played exactly the same as super red bar / Super Bar 7s even down to the hidden extra nudges. I assume they did this do they could just swap them back to the original machine after xmas.
  10. Nope i have played this one of my local arcades it was in there for a few years i think it was on 2p play but cannot remember it would have been early to mid 90s i only give it a few plays it was not a machine i liked,
  11. As has been said its not an automatic process if you have not been give donator access after 24 hours just drop Pete w our admin a message with your user name amount donated and the method that should be enough for him to get your access sorted.
  12. Hi Most club machines with a cash pot had some way of pushing the cash pot up after it has been won, i think the reason for this would have been at the time a club could only have 2 machines sited, so if the cash pot was showing had been won it would put people off playing it, so it would put all the pressure on the only other machine thus cutting take.
  13. Cheers Stoney I had seen the fix in the actual release thread i should have looked there first lol
  14. Hi I have just downloaded this and as soon as it loads it keeps making the hopper payout sound and it will not stop any ideas on how to fix this
  15. Hi The new version of the emulator should go and auto download the missing roms for you, not sure why its not working, however for the older roms I have a full collection from a backup of an old site so if you cannot find any of the roms drop me a Private massage an i will see if i have the what you need in the back up.
  16. Hi I hope this site comes into being, even if we can only access your archive i am sure many people would join up and support this kind of site and content from you.
  17. Hi Thanks for letting me know i have never tryed this as i have a collection of roms from an old back up of the repro that i found so i just used them i must download one now and give this a go.
  18. Hi The games in the legacy section only contain the layouts but there are no ROMs in the games, or at least the last time I downloaded from this section this was the case so you will need to source the ROMS before you can actually play the game
  19. Hi To dontate is easy if you look on the right hand side of the portal home page there is a section there where you can make your donation it defaults to £10 but you can pick any amount above this if you want to.
  20. These should work with no issues as they both use the same DB
  21. Hi Depends which 2 versions you want to run V5 and V20 will use the same DB so you can run both of these together.
  22. I have had a search on dads and i cannot find the layout on there so it may have been removed or it may have been my crappy use of the search there
  23. Hi For me i am not that bothered Party Games cannot be done as this is the worse of the multi player astra games IMO.
  24. Hi I never herd this from any one but as I used to have a super red bar with an electrocoin kit in and i always thought it used some kind of win table for game control, as i saw the same patterns of came round often.
  25. I cannot believe its been nearly a year since we lost Chris his emulator lives on and new layouts keep coming from those with the talent to produce them. I have much to be grateful to him for and his emulator. I was addicted to gambling spending way more than i should have been, fortunately not more than i had 3 things brought me back from this problem. 1. The love and support of a wonderful lady. 2. My little dog gave me something else to concentrate on . 3 Chris's wonderful emulator and the games i could play on it so i was not going to have to go cold turkey. RIP Chris you are missed but still remembered every time i click on the icon to open MFME.
