  1. Ahh please add Star Castle. It’s taken years for me to work out what the Bloody thing was called, and now thanks to this thread my mind is at peace lol
  2. I forgot about Donkey Kong. Another i was crap at for some reason but would still like to see it added. One more I remember was Tron
  3. That is very very similar, but the one I'm on about was just green wire frame graphics (no colour) and a lot slower. This one goes like a bat out of hell and I'd stand no chance lol The one I played came out around 1979-ish [EDIT] Having looked at a few Youtube vids I think you might be right about Star Castle, although the one I recall must have been a very early version. The gameplay is pretty much how I remember it. Thanks very much
  4. Space Invaders - original version (I was the arcade champ on that) Galaxians Moon Cresta Pacman Defender (was really terrible on that but would like to get better) Asteroids Missile Command Space Raiders Plus one I can't remember the name of which I've mentioned a few times on the forums...... It was wire frame graphics with controls the same as asteroids. It looked like a web with like a block in the middle (possibly a space station). You had to shoot away the lines on the web to get to the middle. On several of the web lines were tiny balls which when released used to fizz around the screen trying to kill you and you had to shoot them down. Once all those were destroyed and the ship in the middle blasted away you started again with a new full screen. It was a brilliant game and I got quite good at it - just wish I could remember the name!! Oh yeah, I definately know it WASN'T Tempest!
  5. After my 1640 I got an Elonex 386sx with 2mb of ram. I upgraded it to 4mb and the 1mb chips cost me £22 each lol. Been building PC’s ever since until a few years ago when I just gave up after purchasing my gaming laptop.
  6. I had one and loved it! Cost me £40 and a few days later had to get it in for repair due to a 'parity' error, but after that it worked perfectly A bit later I upgraded to the 1640 with a 20MD (yes 20MB) hard drive and a whopping 8 colours. I also installed my first 8 bit sound card and couldn't believe how good it was! HAPPY DAYS!
  7. Monopoly Wheel of Wealth is done https://dadsfme.com/index.php?topic=1236.0
  8. That's fantastic mate thank you!! How would you like to send it? PM me if necessary
  9. Such a shame but fully understandable. I've spent many a happy hour viewing the videos, some of which I wished I'd kept now, but nevermind. I'd like to add a personal thank you for my tribute/electro video which was fantastic. I still get a kick out of playing PoolPlay Merry Christmas and all the best for the coming New Year.
  10. That's fixed it for me - many thanks
  11. Yep same for me - cracking update though!!
  12. I really enjoyed that review of my old DX Degsy, thank you! Its years since I played it myself. If I remember correctly this was my first dabble with trying to do a 'Photo DX' and was a royal pain in the arse. Lots of flashburn everywhere and having to redraw stuff. I had a request not so long ago to redo this one from the original photo and thought - sod that!! Even now with much more experience I don't think I could improve it that much TBH! Anyway, you mentioned in the Video if I'd be happy for you to release a MFME 20.1 update. It goes without saying that I'm more that happy for you to do this, as I would be for any of my older layouts if you wanted to do so in the future. Cheers
  13. I didn’t release it at dadsfme. I posted it here…
  14. Absolutely amazing work so far! I know 3 Players are a long way off but this pic might help with the likes of Party Time and Bullion Bars etc..
  15. Most of what can be done has been done. The likes of double decker, house of fortune etc are Pluto 6 and unfortunately not supported in the emulator. I did ask wizard about these way back and he said it’s a hell of a lot of work for just a few machines. I have got an Astra Wip (thanks to @Reg) in the pipeline but is some way off.
  16. Some info at the Mecca - https://www.fruitemu.co.uk/ib/topic/20-interesting-auctions-etc/page/377/?tab=comments#comment-77946
  17. Nope, Just the original Spotted Dick and the Club version.
  18. Here's the layout and roms.... Hope they help sdclassic.zip
  19. You only need two roms - P0 followed by P1, but as I mentioned before we don't have the sound roms.
  20. Runs fine on my 4 year old system.....Running Windows 11 Home Edition... Dell Inspiron 5577 Laptop Processor. Intel Core i5 7th Gen 7300HQ. Memory. RAM. 8GB. Graphics Processor. Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050. Can't wait to fill my own arcade up with some lo-tech goodies Incidentally, not sure if I mentioned to@johnparker007that he's free to add any of my layouts if he wants.
  21. I recall the fairplay campaign very well but I've never seen this 'brilliant' video before. God knows how I missed it all those years ago but I found it fascinating. Thanks for sharing it with us again
