Good idea! Will make it easier for those doing a portrait build. Any ideas when you will be doing a new release mate?

Click on Design, then Edit mode first, then do as Vecs says above.

Depends on what os you are using. Win 10/11 then v20 is the way to go. Download and then update to latest version.
If you are still on win 7, then v6.1 is your go to mfme.

Thank you @Amusements. Now that you have come to my rescue yet again, I have a case of deja vu that you would not believe. I have posted about the 10p in before, but couldn’t find my old post. The answer is properly ringing bells now! @vectra666will ask if it’s definitely taking 10p and not 20p and if I had time to check before leaving for work (sadly I don’t) I would be able to say that it puts a dot on the alpha display for the 1st 10p then the credit comes up on the 2nd!
10p payouts x2 are fine for me as I run 10p and £1 hoppers. Thanks again mate!- 1

Thanks, but I have tried! £1 is bit3-8 iirc, normally it it would be bit 0-1 or bit 6-whatever
Neither work. I also tried some of the usual 10p numbers to no avail.

Can anybody tell me what the button number for the 10p input would be on the following Scorpion 2 machines made by Pook please?
Luvvly Jubbly and Match Of the Day. Thanks in advance!

Sounds interesting, but in reality what would you imagine the costs to be for the end user? A few years back someone did a similar thing with an arcade/console front end that would download the images and videos for the roms. It lasted about 3 months. I don't know if it was problems with how it worked or how much it cost to run though.
You have to bear in mind that MFME is pretty niche, so revenue will be limited and if you venture into mame, consoles, hand helds etc you will need millions of images/videos and then someone will always complain that you haven't got an image for some rare Japanese NES cart that sold 3 copies back in the day!

In den Einstellungen gibt es ein kleines Kästchen mit der Aufschrift „Beschnitten laden“. (Unterlastmodus). Kreuzen Sie das an.

I recently purchased the above coin mech, pictured below. Thanks to Pete @WibbleWobbleit now works in mfme. Some of you may be familiar with @No1Stoney's diagram for the mars 126dfx. Well, using this as a base, if you do the following, the mei9524e mech will work just fine, and it's cheaper at the moment than the 126, aaaand is way easier to setup the coin routing for (no routing plug yay!)
Assuming we use this diagram.....
Pins start at the top as pin1 and the bottom as pin17, pin 5 is actually the empty space in the picture. So! Pin 8 (the unused square in the diagram) should be connected to your 5v or 12v feed from the pc (yellow wire for older pcs). Then, remove pin10 from the mech or ipac or both. Put all dip switches on the mech to the off position. It will then work exactly the same as the mars 126dfx!
Here is the manual too, it explains how to route the coins!

Is this version available to download yet @appstrader?

If they work in 6.1 they will work in v20. There are a few exceptions, but really not many, as some layouts were put on a banned list for v19 onwards.

That is an awesome gesture @madgerald1974. It’s stuff like this and people like you that make this community what it is.

Hi @MPU_FIVEI think postage is around £20 per unit and the dreaded paperwork is what kills it. Exporting from Germany to say Italy or even Ireland is waaay less hassle (got any friends or family there?)They just don't want to play lol. Try ebay.de and you'll see what i mean. Just keep an eye out for a bargain mate. If you are on Facebook (I'm not), then the marketplace may have the odd bit available too.

It's really hard to tell Gary. Recently prices have definitely risen. Mainly due to Brexit I think. I could get Azkoyen hoppers from Germany for about £10 each, £5ish delivery. Now they won't even entertain sending them to the uk. You don't really see that many suitable hoppers on ebay at the moment. This is one of the reasons I have been looking at alternatives, just so that everyone has a choice of hardware! Even the Chinese types aren't exactly cheap. Mechs are more common, and I believe that the Mars 126, Mei Cashflow cf9524 and a SR5i have all been used in builds so far. It would be great to build up the resources as people get stuff working, hence me asking @madgerald1974how he did his cube hoppers.

Need an adult to create it first! I'll colour it in with the unchewed ends of my colouring pencils. Can't use felt tips, I lost all the lids!
