Reading though your post your on the right path as you know deep down you WONT and CANT win!!!! the bit about buying that record from Discogs hit a cord with me and so many times iv done the same with wanting to buy something so simple,but wanted so much to put it in the slots instead. Let me tell you something about how the gamblers mind works and i knew i was doing it but the mind was that powerful it some how just took over and i let it. The other day i had £400 in my wallet and was thinking about nipping down to the slots for a quick dabble but needed to fill up with petrol and i thought i best put this on my card as i may need this all of this £400 to use down the slots!!! WTF so in my mind the £400 pound was already lossed cause thats what i was going to gamble. and for that short time well i was driving down there i was battling with my mind why i shouldn't do it (its mad,hard to explain to someone that doesn't gamble how the thought process works)anyhow managed to get by this one and go home but as long as that £400 is in my wallet,its a battle. Please if you can get help in anyway your not alone. Dont let the mind control you,YOU CONTROL THE MIND. YOU CANT WIN!!!! OR GET RICH you will never see rich gambler FACT!!!

Thanks for sharing this story,and just listening to it i felt the pain,and you know what from other story's you hear it looks like we was all in the same boat. I used to think it was just me in a mess! But the thing is looking back at the time it didnt look like it was a problem but the norm and now i hear these storys some 30 years on i realize i had a problem. To go in the slots with pocket of cash to chase jackpots, lose the lot (cause even if i win am only putting it back in again) then came out and think what the f**K have i done. And then think well am standing in the doorway of the arcade on the way out how i can obtain money by what ever means. Done some naughty things to get cash which not going into over the internet,because hay once iv got cash am back in my little bubble were i dont give a f**k about anything but being the man with a pocket full of tokens/cash walking round the arcade. Only to lose the lot and start again.But i noticed that some of the things i did at time to obtain money i started to do more silly but serious things. Around this time started going to a rave club up here called shelleys and getting into billy and mdma as again it was the norm.It was the 90s ffs good times or so i thought so trying to get cash by any means is a must, as YTS wage didnt cut it. To cut a long story short (as could you tell some storys but some things are best left in the past)i passed my test and got a car all payed for by my mums boyfriend. I melt a girl who am not with now but something changed,Ya i still used to go the slots with her but its like i didnt want her to know about me being naughty and things and as we was always together i couldn't do the things i used to,to obtain money, So its like i got out of this nasty circle i was in and am grateful to her for this(and she didn't even know). I still think about slots to this day (thats why we are all here) We say to relive the good times/days of slots, BUT WAS THEY REALLY THAT GOOD?? with what it did to most of us looking back. Degsy,am glad you saw the light and your still here(or there would be no videos for us to watch)but you got out in time,but just think now with these silly £500 pounds machines about back then???? I tried this on a A4 scanner and like wizard said a tiny gap between the two glasses makes it blurry. it has to be on a flat bed. I ended up taken mine to a local printers who had a A3 scanner but still the each glass had to be done in two half's as the scanner was only flat at one end then they charged me 50p a scan and put the images on a memory stick as i was sending them to Pook, and he had to stitch them together his end but all was ok.

Really hard to answer this, without some thought as there are hundreds........ but in no order,and are machines iv played in the wild. Again story's from different life's but all along the same line. Am glad in a way that we have learnt with these small jackpot machines, by today's high stakes,i would hate to think if what i was like then, now with story's of people losing homes etc.

Excellent video as always nice to see that i wasn't the only one who had problems of placing there last bit of money in these hoping to win! Few e.g's Met a girl a week later arranged to meet as i was guaranteed a ride( you get me) but no got all booted and suited and just popped in the slots lossed all my money never saw her again. The amount of times iv got down to my bus fare home, the last pound! but convinced myself i will win with it and lossed and had to walk 7 miles to get home. Arranged a night out with the lads again all booted and suited got up there only to end up in the slots and lossed the lot then making up reason why i didnt meet. Its pretty sad really now when i look back but money was tight with only being on YTS at the time. Iv even got payed Friday morning £35 YTS and being in the slots at dinner lost the lot,no money all week not even for a bus pass to get me to work FFS Why did we do it????

Couldn't of been better put there reg!! I will just say adding to newbies ask questions,i myself have found that sometime trying to get involved in this scene quite hard tbh and some search engines on sites are shit or there just to much info around one matter that confuses newbies and if they asked they get shot down and told search for the answer. Which them gets them no where and they just go not to come back, or on the other hand mfme has moved to fast that unless your on here 24/7 its easy to get lossed.But on the other hand i can sort of see why they get told this,because of long term members that know how to do/sort things out when things go wrong or have been here since year one and brought resources to the table and layout creators have gained respect and when a newbie comes along he/she gets treated with only maybe a little respect or in some cases none at all. Because people have been allowed over the years to just come take and go with no control. It does take the piss that people do this with out getting involved and even just donating just £1 FFS so can understand why this goes on. One other example when chris/wizard asked for sounds of coins etc,a handful of people came to his aid yet how many people in this scene own fruit machines?? and couldnt help chris out but are happy to download a new mfme!! Again Benjamoose what a talent but,have we as a community frighted this guy away?? Who cares who he is or isnt,with talent like that we need to keep them. Hope this scene does grow but with resources disappearing fast we need to grab every opportunity that comes along cause once its gone,well thats it. Its nice to see a reboot of a new mfme site here with reg and desert island,new fresh ideas that could turn this around. Rant over Dave Ps Happy Easter!!!!

Great video as always, bellfruit had some of the best games of this era inc Winning Streak,Linx,Chain Reaction,Cash Wise,Cash Explosion,Cash Attraction,Tristar and most was pretty easy on that skill cash, except tristar the skill climb was in the wrong place and could never get to the top!! Anyhows had to have ago on double chance to see if iv still go it after 30 years, 4 out of 5 go not bad but cant do it as quick.

i cant be leave i sat here for 52 mins and that thing had that amount of cash put though it. i felt your pain as you was playing that, just think i a pub limited cash and it had you for £180 after a few beers i think i would be look for plans to drag the thing outside.

Great video and yes anything £4-4.80 wise excellent machines possibly the best we had even lo tecs, only ever remember getting done over by a lo tec from this erabut cant think for the life of me if it was a barcrest or project but both played much the same had a nutty streak on them,so you sort of knew as you said. But this day got hit with £90 loss!! ya won bits and bobs but no streak which was unusual,so probably been done over, As regards your £43ish profit most of that if not all would of been tokens.So if in a pub buy beers for the night if no one watched you plugging the thing or in an arcade and replay your tokens which,don't forget put a machine on a 60% payout so you was been f**ked over again. As regards manufacturers f**king up and with proof on videos i wounder if theirs grounds to sue!!!! After all if its not working right take it back and get your money back. Now all i after do is work out how much overall iv spent in these things!!

As i said to pook the other day about playing these full screen dx'es so called tabletop dx PML, there are good for the time they come out as for a remake this could of gone on the list of layouts that need updating over at fruit emu but as said above posts disappearing/not posting right. I understand that alex is not well/on the mend and wouldnt wish it on any man and getting back to 100% is needed before dealing with any issues. but as for pete not having a look???? whats that about i know he doesnt spend much time on mecca but still i think i only see him on there when its donations time?? long term think fruit emu is in need of an update/revamp to bring it up to date folders,files, members/accounts a fresh coat of paint.

Sound videos these, And that cabinet is just the right shape. Been looking at a couple on ebay but to far for me to collect starting at a £5er possible one of them would of been ok without making to much changes. will have to wait till something comes up a bit near to me. Anyways would you do anything different to your cab?? And am i right in saying you have to assign the buttons to each machine you put on there? And lets say you've put 500 machines on there all with assigned buttons can you back them up so if your hard drive goes tits up you haven't got to do it all again? Sorry if you all ready covered these questions but fme is a mine field. O and who is the lady in the back ground on the pic you've pixaled??

Yes this is why I ask about multi function buttons not sure about that Pacdrive myself like how many buttons can fit on it,and if you max out the pac drive with let's say 16 buttons and I needed 20 would I need other pac drive? As there not cheap really

Are the buttons multi function eg as some games have hi lo on hold buttons, so 3 would flash when you get an hold has seen in video but then on gambling the number reel only the hi lo would flash on the hold buttons Just trying to work out how many buttons I would need as some games will need more buttons like line up nudge up buttons etc thanks

So I guess you have to configure each fruit machine via edit?
