  1. On The Up

Here's a £25 layout that I've been working on the past few days (like you haven't noticed the way I posted so many updates as I worked on it!)
I'll gladly make a £5 version tomorrow, won't take long, and would use the existing ROMS. Just thought I'd get this out now as I was late back from my trip out and really need to get on with some exercise now before it gets dark
Here's the notes from the layout. Worked fine for me before release, so I hope it works fine for you now! Any issues just reply here or chuck me a PM.
    Have fun

  2. QPS Cashraker UHD DX

(Note - didn't realise volume was so low when released as I was playing it in silence while mum had Bake Off final on! To increase volume hit the 'Refill' checkbox at the top left of the MFME window, then after a few seconds, press the Exchange To Feature button (once it's lit up!). You can then set the volume using Cancel and Hold 1, and once sorted, uncheck the 'Refill' checkbox and get back to playing!)

Well, here it is. Probably not the best job that could be done with the great artwork provided by @Player but I've had a crack at it.
Runs fine on my two PCs, not sure if others might struggle due to the high resolution, but I've gone easy with the transparency and scrapped my plan to use blended lamps so hopefully that'll help it run on most systems!
Cheers also to @Tommy cfor the reel symbols I used, and to the original classic layout author who didn't leave their name on the layout I worked from?
This is layout version 1.0 - if you find any issues please let me know and I'll fix them

  3. QPS - Xtravaganza £35 @ 30p/50p DX

Well here's a quick layout I cobbled over the last few days using some artwork provided by @Player. It's a very simple game, basically the same machines as the Red Hot Monopoly single-player, or Grand Golden Game multi-player. As posted in the WIP thread, I had a brutal session on this in Skirlington, before being shown the correct way to play it (cheers @spa!)
Also, as stated in the notes and WIP thread, the artwork here appears to be pre-release, or prototype, or something else. I had to add the top reel surround and XTRA LIFE lamp as they weren't present on the art. So while it's listed as a DX, it's not 100% accurate. If I remember to take better photos in the future, or learn how to draw in Photoshop rather than manipulate, it might be re-released in more accurate form in the future!
Thanks to those who gave their input on the WIP thread and elsewhere. I'll be honest, I'm not 100% sure about the layout. I think the next time I do one of these I'll be tempted to forget the belly glass at the bottom and move the note acceptor somewhere else. It's a VERY skinny layout. So skinny that you'll probably find my image and notes are off the left hand side of your screen when opening.
Other than that I believe they layout is fully working as it should be. Any issues at all reply here and I'll update the layout!!
    Cheers all

  4. Red X (Classic) - Red Gaming

Well here it is, one of my favourite (or at least most memorable) AWPs of the past 20 or so years. Maybe it was the music, maybe it was the amount of lamps, or maybe it suited my 'forcing' style and the locals were too scared to push it, resulting in it paying for many a night out
Notes (copied from the layout) :
I forgot to thank @Mort for the ROMs again, so am thanking him again here. Cheers!

  5. Vivid Magnificent 7's Classic

Here's a nice simple game from Vivid - nothing particularly amazing but couldn't see an existing layout despite the ROMs being out in the public domain
Additional thanks to Wizard for helping me several times when I was about ready to give up on this, as well as obviously his continual work on MFME, and also thanks to @infection for his image of the machine so I could at least see what it should look like. I've deviated from it a bit but it was a big help
Layout notes below, and as always, any issues /mistakes please let me know and I will endeavour to update the layout to fix anything!
