Hi Hans, Sure - I edited every layout and basically brought the right hand border much closer to the main picture covering the side art generally. I then use F3 or SHIFT+F3 depending on how big the layout actually is to maximise the screen to fill as much as possible the viewing area. One is FULL SCREEN, the other is FULL SCREEN STRETCH. There is always manipulation of bringing the right border across to ensure the space is as equal as possible on the left hand side of the screen and the right hand side. Cheers.

I only have a couple of roms so I don’t know - I just wanted to draw the line in the sand so that if something does come up that works then we are sensible. The reality is you can get machines so cheap off eBay now that you could argue why have.a £1K PC to play when you can own the machine south of £200. Then it’s only the old eBay ones that are on eBay so all we are doing is emulating what people can buy on mass as there is always something of other from 2016 available.

We did the same with Empire in the past.

Good Morning All, As we are in the £100 era now we must be sensitive to vendors the same way that the pinball scene is to Pinball Machines ! Can I ask that no machines with a rom that shows anything later then (c) 2016 is posted here. I think this is a sensible way forward and putting this in place sets sensible ground rules. Thoughts welcome please ?

@Geddy thank you for doing this. This is a fantastic resource to see what happened in the past and more importantly to try to find the missing layout. There is now a link at the top of the site, MFME Layout Gallery. If within an area below the layouts are not in alphabetical order, then select Sort by Caption and then it should view in an A - Z order rather then last updated. There are many layouts there that vary in quality. This archive allows people to search back and see if a machine that they once knew and wanted is available in one form or another. This maybe simply to play the layout or even to update it to the latest and greatest MFME using the base as a platform. This also shows the magic of MFME and all the hours that @Wizard has put into this. Look how layouts, techniques have developed in this gallery and it really is a great chunk of history. Thank you again to @Geddy, @Wizard for MFME, @Mort for helping the screens and to each designer past, present and future that is part of this great journey.

Afraid I can't manage this one. Amber is not running on my Windows 10 machine so I can't load the .pad file. This is a little different from earlier versions that had all the resources in another folder. Afraid I'll have ot pass on that with a fail...

Seen some silly little machines here today in Terminal 5. Funny that this stake and prize is on an over 18 area. They are clearly trying to give up the change from ticket redemption machines.

While away I managed to complete my Bob Ross collection of retro goodies... ...we have the plush toy, the mints and the drink. Jesus god - the drink was bad. @SocialDragon368 I have warned you about doing this shit and posting it here. You have history of this. Please do not post anything from a layout point of view that is not 100% your own work. I have deleted the file as nobody would make a classic by doing a DX first - please as people have tried to help - get a set of roms that have not been done and try from scratch. Also do not blame @Gary here. Due to your history I would have checked this when back home, this message is just a little earlier then it would have been. I am not going to put you back in the Moderation queue as I have done before it does not work - I am going to ask you to stop and can you confirm via a reply or a response icon, you’ve seen this and read this please ? I will take that confirmation that you will only work on stuff fresh from your PC going forward - ripping people’s work like this just upsets the talented .FML Artists we do have, be it DX or Classic. Thank you.

I think there is but so many people doing selfies, I am just holding it the other way around. I’ve not been stopped but there seems to be three staff- Security, Staff and Cleaners. The cleaners don’t care, the staff are thin on the ground so I stay out of visuals of security and also play $5 here and there and it sorta works out. I do aim for the morning windows as well to hit less people.

A few more, this does only scratch the surface - trying for some angles here where a DX will look good in the center as well as the general machine ones.

Although I can’t tell you exactly what one at the moment in my MFME cabinet I use a Dell Optiplex Mini. I think it might be a 3150 that I got from eBay. MFME has had some brilliant optimization work by @Wizard and this is a good thread to actually kickstart what is the best to use. By default low end PC’s are going to be lower spec as you know and I think the best marker is run DX Diag on your current PC and post the first screen with CPU etc. Then detail your budget and that gives the criteria that is needed, better than what you already have, mini PC and top level cost. That will help I hope in others giving a better response.
